Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

The steps to incorporate an existing sole trade, how assets move across, incorporation relief, and a worked tax comparison at 2026 to 2027 rates.
To turn a sole trade into a limited company you register a new company at Companies House (£100 online, usually within 24 hours, with each director's identity verified), move the business and its assets into it, and tell HMRC the self-employment has ended. Transferring the whole business and all its assets except cash for shares can defer Capital Gains Tax through incorporation relief; for transfers from 6 April 2026, HMRC's manual says that relief must be claimed.
A sole trader and a limited company are different legal persons in one important way: as a sole trader you are the business, while a company is separate from you. Incorporating means creating that new person and moving your trade into it. It is not a change of form on an existing registration, so contracts, bank accounts, VAT and insurance all need attention. Here is the sequence and what each step involves.
GOV.UK says registering online costs £100, paid by debit or credit card, and the company is usually registered within 24 hours; a postal application costs £124 and takes 8 to 10 days. You need a registered office address, at least one SIC code describing the business, a statement of capital, details of your people with significant control, and a Government Gateway ID for the company that is separate from your personal one.
Before registering, you may need to verify your identity with GOV.UK One Login, and you must give each director's Companies House personal code. Identity verification became a legal requirement on 18 November 2025 for new and existing directors and PSCs. If you hold a Nigerian passport, our guide to Companies House identity verification for Nigerian directors covers the routes.
Decide what the company takes over and on what terms. The usual items are:
Moving assets into a company is a disposal for Capital Gains Tax. GOV.UK says you may be able to delay paying it through Incorporation Relief if you are a sole trader or partner and transfer the business and all its assets, except cash, in return for shares. The gain is taken off the base cost of the shares, so tax comes later when you sell them. In GOV.UK's example, shares worth £100,000 and a £60,000 gain leave a base cost of £40,000. Any part paid in cash is taxed in your next return.
Tell HMRC you have stopped trading as a sole trader and file a final Self Assessment return covering the trade up to the transfer date. The company will need to register for Corporation Tax; see Corporation Tax registration for a new company.
Not automatically. A company pays Corporation Tax at 19% on profits of £50,000 or less and 25% above £250,000, with marginal relief between. You then pay yourself through salary or dividends. For 2026 to 2027, GOV.UK lists a £500 dividend allowance and dividend tax of 10.75% basic rate, 35.75% higher rate and 39.35% additional rate.
| Sole trader | Company, all profit as dividends | |
|---|---|---|
| Business tax | None | Corporation Tax £45,000 x 19% = £8,550 |
| Taken out | £45,000 | £36,450 dividend |
| Tax-free | £12,570 Personal Allowance | £12,570 Personal Allowance + £500 dividend allowance |
| Personal tax | Income Tax £32,430 x 20% = £6,486 | £23,380 x 10.75% = £2,513.35 |
| National Insurance | Class 4 £32,430 x 6% = £1,945.80 | None on dividends |
| Total tax | £8,431.80 | £11,063.35 |
This is a simplified example: no salary, no other income, no expenses beyond those already in profit. A mix of salary and dividends changes the result, and the advantages of a company are often about limited liability, credibility with clients and keeping profits in the business rather than tax at this level of profit. Our guide to paying yourself salary and dividends goes further, and sole trader or limited company compares the two structures.
A company needs its own account. A Pryme Business Account can be opened from any country and holds GBP, NGN, USD and EUR, and comes with a Chief of Staff, Finance and Compliance agents that prepare work for a person to approve. This page is general information, not tax advice.
Registering the company online at Companies House costs £100 (£124 by post). Accountancy and legal costs for valuing goodwill and moving contracts are extra.
The GOV.UK guide says so, but HMRC's manual (CG65735, updated October 2026) says transfers from 6 April 2026 need a claim, usually with the tax return. For a 2026 to 2027 transfer the deadline is 31 January 2029.
Ask HMRC. A VAT registration can sometimes be transferred to the new company, otherwise the company registers afresh.
Not always. In a simplified example at £45,000 profit with all profit taken as dividends, the company route costs more tax than staying a sole trader. The answer depends on profit, salary mix and what you leave in the company.
