Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How salary and dividends are taxed in 2026 to 2027, with a labelled example: Personal Allowance, NI thresholds, the £500 dividend allowance.
Most owner-directors take a modest salary and the rest as dividends, because salary above the thresholds carries employer and employee National Insurance while dividends do not. For 2026 to 2027, the Personal Allowance is £12,570, employer NI is 15% above £5,000 a year, the dividend allowance is £500, and dividends above it are taxed at 10.75%, 35.75% or 39.35% depending on your band.
| Item | 2026 to 2027 figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Personal Allowance | £12,570 | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Employee NI primary threshold | £12,570 a year (£242 a week) | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Employee NI rate | 8% to £50,270, 2% above | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Employer NI secondary threshold | £5,000 a year (£96 a week) | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Employer NI rate | 15% above the secondary threshold | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Lower earnings limit | £6,708 a year | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Employment Allowance | £10,500 (eligibility rules apply) | GOV.UK employer rates |
| Dividend allowance | £500 | GOV.UK tax on dividends |
| Dividend tax | 10.75% basic, 35.75% higher, 39.35% additional | GOV.UK tax on dividends |
| Basic rate band (England, Wales, NI) | 20% on the first £37,700 above the allowance | GOV.UK employer rates |
Scotland has its own income tax bands for salary; dividends use the UK rates.
A salary is paid through payroll, with income tax and NI deducted. It is a cost to the company, so it reduces the company's taxable profit. A salary at or above the lower earnings limit (£6,708 for 2026 to 2027) usually counts towards your State Pension record. Between £6,708 and £12,570 you pay no employee NI, and up to £12,570 no income tax if you have no other income. Above £5,000 the company pays 15% employer NI, unless Employment Allowance covers it; check the GOV.UK eligibility rules for that allowance, as they depend on how many employees and directors are paid.
A dividend is a share of profit after Corporation Tax. It can only be paid if the company has enough profits available, and it must be properly declared and minuted. It carries no NI. You pay dividend tax only above your unused Personal Allowance and the £500 dividend allowance, and you report it through Self Assessment when it exceeds those.
Example only, England, 2026 to 2027. Tolu is a sole director with no other income. She takes a £12,570 salary, so she uses her Personal Allowance and pays no income tax or employee NI on it. The company pays employer NI of 15% × (£12,570 − £5,000) = £1,135.50, unless Employment Allowance applies. She then wants another £30,000.
This comparison leaves out Corporation Tax. Salary and employer NI reduce the company's taxable profit, while dividends are paid from profit that has already borne Corporation Tax, so the true gap is narrower than the figures above suggest. An accountant will run both with your company's actual Corporation Tax position.
The basic rate band is the dividing line. In the example, salary of £12,570 plus dividends of £30,000 keeps Tolu's total income at £42,570, inside the band that ends at £50,270. Dividends above that point are taxed at 35.75%, and once total income passes £100,000 the Personal Allowance starts to taper away. Many directors therefore plan dividends around the band each year, sometimes leaving profit in the company rather than taking it all.
Timing matters too. Dividends are taxed in the tax year they are paid, so a dividend declared on 4 April falls into a different year from one declared on 6 April. Spread payments if one year would otherwise push you into a higher band.
Pryme Business Accounts include payroll and a Finance agent that prepares dividend paperwork and payment runs for a director to approve; nothing moves until you do.
Many directors take a salary around the £12,570 Personal Allowance and primary threshold, because it uses the allowance without employee NI. Employer NI applies above £5,000 unless Employment Allowance covers it.
After the £500 dividend allowance, GOV.UK lists 10.75% at basic rate, 35.75% at higher rate and 39.35% at additional rate.
No. Dividends carry no National Insurance, which is the main reason directors mix salary and dividends.
Dividends can only be paid from profits available for distribution. Without them, money taken is likely to be a director's loan.
