1Who we are and how to contact us
This website is operated by Pryme Financial Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 14439958, registered office Griffin Place, High Street, Newport, Wales, NP20 1FX, and registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission, RC 1552757, at No. 12 Montgomery Road, Yaba, Lagos State.
You can reach us through in-app chat, or by email at support@mypryme.com. Where these terms require notice in writing, email to that address is sufficient.
2What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website and set the framework for the products described on it. They do not replace the product terms you accept when you open an account, take credit, or enable an agent mandate. Where a product term conflicts with these terms, the product term applies to that product.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
3Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to open an account. Accounts are currently provided in Nigeria and are subject to verification and approval.
United Kingdom: Pryme Financial Ltd is not currently authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing on this website is an offer of regulated financial services in the United Kingdom.
Canada and the United States: not available. Applications are in progress and nothing here is an offer of services in either market.
4Opening an account and verification
We are required to verify your identity before opening an account and, in some cases, before increasing your limits. Verification may include your BVN or NIN, a liveness check, an identity document, proof of address and, for businesses, CAC registration and identification of directors and beneficial owners.
We screen against sanctions and politically exposed person lists. We may decline an application, and we may decline without giving reasons where the law prevents us from doing so.
- Tier 1 gives you a Naira account.
- Tier 2 adds foreign currency balances, cross-border payouts and higher limits.
- We may ask for further information at any time to meet our legal obligations.
5Your account and balances
Your account may hold balances in more than one currency. Money you receive stays in the currency in which it was sent until you convert it. Foreign currency balances do not earn interest unless a product term says otherwise.
Naira accounts and deposits are provided and held by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd, licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria, and are insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation up to the applicable limit per depositor, per institution. Pryme is not a bank and does not itself hold deposits.
6Nigerian products
Savings Boxes, credit facilities, loans, overdrafts, credit cards and bill payments are Nigerian products denominated in Naira only. Rates, minimum durations, tenors and other terms are published on the relevant product page and in the Fees and charges schedule, and are served live; the figure shown at the moment you commit is the one that applies to your transaction.
Credit is subject to status, affordability assessment and approval. Your assets may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments.
7Payments, transfers and conversions
Before you confirm a transfer or a conversion we show you the amount, the applicable fee and, for conversions, the rate. A conversion quote is held for a stated period; once it lapses you are shown a new quote and asked again.
Instructions are generally irrevocable once submitted. We will make reasonable efforts to help recall a payment sent in error, but we cannot guarantee recovery.
We may delay or refuse a payment where we are required to do so by law, where we suspect fraud, or where it would breach sanctions.
8Cards
Cards draw from the balance matching the transaction currency where one is available. If the matching balance is insufficient, we tell you before converting.
You are responsible for keeping card details secure and for freezing or reporting a card you believe is compromised. Card controls, limits and merchant rules you set apply to that card only.
9AI agents and mandates
Agent services are provided by Pryme Intelligence. Agents act only within the mandate and approval limits configured on your account. Anything above those limits is prepared and escalated to a named approver; it does not proceed without human approval.
Agent output is decision support. It is not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. You remain responsible for decisions taken on your account, including where an agent proposed them.
Every agent action is written to the audit trail against your account. You may narrow, widen or revoke a mandate at any time; changes take effect from the moment they are saved and do not reverse actions already completed.
10Fees and charges
Fees are set out in the Fees and charges schedule and are shown before you confirm a transaction. We may change fees; where we do, we will give you notice in line with applicable regulation before the change takes effect.
11Your responsibilities
We will never call, email or message you to ask for your password, your full card number or a one-time code. Anyone who does is not us.
- Keep your credentials, devices and authenticator secure, and never share a one-time code.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a transaction you did not authorise.
- Keep your contact details and your verification documents current.
- Give us accurate information. Providing false information may be a criminal offence and will result in closure.
12Acceptable use
You may not use a Pryme account or this website for anything unlawful, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, or trading in goods and services prohibited by applicable law or by our published restricted-activities list.
You may not attempt to interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without written authorisation, scrape it at scale, or reverse engineer any part of the service.
13Suspension, freezing and closure
We may suspend or restrict access to an account, freeze a balance or close an account where we are required to by law or regulation, where we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity, where verification cannot be completed, or where you have materially breached these terms.
Where we can lawfully tell you, we will explain what has happened and what you can do. Where the law prevents us from giving reasons, we will say that we cannot, without further detail.
You may close your account at any time, subject to settling anything you owe and to any minimum term attached to a product you hold.
14Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of payment infrastructure operated by third parties.
This website is provided for information. Illustrative figures, sample balances and example agent activity shown on it are demonstrations and are not statements about any real account.
15Complaints
Tell us through in-app chat or at support@mypryme.com. We will acknowledge your complaint, give you a reference, and set out how long we expect to take. If we cannot resolve it, our complaints procedure explains the route beyond us, including escalation to the relevant regulator.
16Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Where a change is material and affects a product you hold, we will give you notice in line with applicable regulation before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the change.
17Intellectual property
The Pryme name, logo, site design, copy and software are owned by Pryme Financial Ltd or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not reproduce, adapt or exploit them commercially without our written permission.
18Third-party providers
Some parts of the service are provided by partners under contract with us: Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd (Naira accounts and deposits), Pryme Intelligence (agent services and Eva), VerifyDoc Ltd (document verification and authenticity), and VerifiedLead.ai (lead generation and follow-up). Their role does not reduce our responsibility to you under these terms.
19Governing law
Products provided in Nigeria, and disputes arising from them, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Your use of this website is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
