More business means more work. It doesn’t mean more hours in your day.

CS Chief of Staff

Someone has to decide what genuinely needs you — and clear everything that doesn’t.

CF CFO

Someone has to hold the position in every currency at once, and see the squeeze coming.

CC Customer Care

Someone has to answer a customer in Accra at two in the morning, in your voice.

SM Sales Manager

Someone has to keep the pipeline warm across time zones you are asleep in.

You could hire a team in every market. Or put four agents on the account.

Overview

One account, Multi-currencies, four agents

Every currency on one balanceOpen a currency and it is live in about a minute. The total converts at today’s indicative rate; each balance keeps its own account number.
You can see what the agents didAgent telemetry shows the last hour, agent by agent. The stream underneath names the action, the amount and whether it is done or waiting on you.
Nothing moves without a signature you setPayments above your limit stop and wait, and the account says so rather than sending them.
Swap

Move value between the currencies you hold

The rate is a consequence, not a footnoteType an amount and the other side converts as you type. The rate sits between the two balances where you can read it.
Indicative until you confirm, then heldOnce you confirm, the rate is held for thirty seconds. The rate on the confirmation is the rate you get.
Both balances update at onceNo settlement window, no pending state, no second account to check.
Invoices

Ask to be paid, and watch it age

Each invoice has its own account numberYour customer pays into a number unique to that invoice. Nothing to quote, nothing to reconcile by hand.
The CFO agent chases itDay 3, day 14, day 30, then a person at 45 days late. You see how old the debt is and how long you wait to get paid.
Draft, sent, viewed, part paid, overdue, paidEvery invoice sits in one of six states, and the ledger tells you how many are in each.
Financials

Statements, not an export you have to build

A balance sheet that ties to the invoicesReceivables, VAT payable and withholding tax credits are footed from the invoice ledger. Click any of the three to see the invoices behind it.
Cash or accrual, on a switchOn the accrual basis revenue is recognised when you invoice. On cash it is recognised when the money lands. Same ledger, both readings.
Income statement, cash flow, trial balance, taxPrepared under the framework in your tax profile. Your accountant signs the filing, not the agent.
Agents

Four agents, one written policy

The Chief of Staff coordinates the restIt decides what genuinely needs you and clears everything that does not. The other three report through it.
Each one is measured, not assertedReadiness, volume, accuracy and escalation rate for every agent, with fourteen days of history and a mandate you can change.
One mailbox, signed by the agent that wrote itReplies come back into the workspace. Use your own address instead if you would rather.
Human review

The queue is the point, not an exception

An agent that stops is working correctlyAnything above a limit, anything new, anything that does not match — it stops and says why rather than guessing.
The chain is the one you setWho signs at what value is your rule, written once. Nothing inherits its own permissions.
Every decision lands in the audit logAgainst the person or the agent that took it, with what the record said before and after.

Built on our own rails

The licence, the ledger and the intelligence layer are operated as one system, under one set of controls. Deposits sit with regulated institutions, every currency settles on a single core, and every agent acts within a written mandate with a full audit trail. The same infrastructure is available to partners through Pryme Rails, so a Naira account can be live inside another product in days.

Ten years, one trunk

The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.

2016E-commerce

An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.

2018OjirehPrime Card

A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.

2020Microfinance bank

Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.

2023Multicurrency

More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.

2026Agentic operations

Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Four agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.

Investors

Own a piece of the trunk.

Ten years, one licence, one ledger, one agent layer, and a customer base that has grown through every version of the business. Nigeria first, with the United Kingdom, United States and Canada applications in progress.

  • Regulated depositsNaira held at our own CBN-licensed bank, not a partner’s.
  • Owned infrastructureCore banking and the agent platform are ours to price and to license.
  • Three revenue linesBanking, Pryme+ and Pro subscriptions, and Rails for partners.
  • Compounding distributionEvery customer invites, every business brings its customers, every partner brings its users.

How it works, from sign-up to settled.

Most banking sites explain the product and hide the plumbing. This page does the opposite — what happens when you open an account, where your money actually sits, how an agent is allowed to act on it, and what stops it acting when it should not.

What you get

One front door, no back doors

Clients speak only to the Gateway. Nothing — not the app, not a partner integration, not an agent — reaches the banking core directly. That is what makes the controls enforceable rather than advisory.

Identity is a separate authority

Pryme Compliance owns verification and publishes the result as an event. It never writes into the ledger. Separating who-you-are from what-you-own is what keeps both defensible.

Risk decides, it does not intercept

The Risk Engine is called synchronously at decision points and subscribes to events for monitoring. Making it the hub everything routes through would make it the single point of failure for your money, so we did not.

The ledger is the system of record

Balances, postings and statements come from Core Banking, operated with Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd. Every other system reads from it; none of them keeps a competing version of the truth.

Agents sit on top, not inside

Pryme Intelligence talks to the Gateway with the same permissions model you do. An agent cannot reach past it, and cannot exceed the mandate you configured.

Events, not entanglement

Systems coordinate by publishing what happened — identity.verified, txn.posted, risk.flag.raised — rather than reaching into each other. Each one owns its own data and can fail without taking the others with it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open an account

Five steps, with verification and your approval limits set up front.

  2. 2

    Fund it

Local transfer, or receive in the currency your customer sent.

  3. 3

    Give the agents a mandate

Draft-only, act-within-limits, or custom per agent.

  4. 4

    Watch the first morning brief

By the next day the agents have something to show you.

The architecture, honestly drawn

Every client — the app, the web, partners on the API, agents — speaks to one gateway and never to the banking core directly. Behind it, three systems do three jobs, coordinated by events rather than by one system reaching into another.

Pryme Compliance is the identity authority and never writes to Core directly. The Risk Engine is a decision service called at decision points, not a hub everything routes through. Core Banking is the system of record, operated with Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd as the licensed deposit-taking institution.

What actually happens

Seven stages from the moment you tap Sign up to the moment money settles — and where a human still has to say yes.

  1. Stage one · seconds

You sign up, and the Gateway takes it

Your application reaches the Pryme Gateway, the single public entry point. Nothing you submit touches the banking core at this stage — the Gateway holds it while identity is established.

  2. Stage two · minutes

    Compliance verifies who you are

Pryme Compliance checks your BVN or NIN against the national registry, runs a liveness check against your selfie, and screens you against sanctions and politically exposed person lists. For a business it also verifies CAC registration, directors and beneficial owners. When it passes, it publishes one event: identity.verified.

  3. Stage three · same session

    Your account is provisioned

On that event, the Gateway provisions your account in Core Banking and creates the balances for the currencies your tier allows. Your Naira account and deposits are held by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd, licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria and insured by the NDIC. Pryme is not a bank and does not hold your deposits itself.

  4. Stage four · same session

    Risk seeds a baseline

The Risk Engine creates a baseline score for the account and subscribes to its events. It is a decision service, not a gatekeeper standing in the middle of every payment — it is called at decision points and it watches the rest.

  5. Stage five · you decide

    You set the mandate

Before an agent does anything, you choose what it may complete alone, what it must escalate, and the figure above which a second named approver has to sign. Draft-only is a valid answer. So is a different mandate per agent.

  6. Stage six · continuous

Money moves, and is checked as it moves

Every instruction — yours or an agent’s — goes through the Gateway. Risk is consulted, limits are enforced, and the posting happens in Core. Above your threshold it stops and waits for a person. A conversion shows its rate and its fee separately before anyone confirms it.

  7. Stage seven · permanent

Everything lands on the audit trail

Who did it, what they did, when, from where, and whether it succeeded — for staff and for agents alike, including the attempts that were denied. You can export it, and your auditors can read it.

Questions

If Pryme is not a bank, where is my money?

Naira deposits are held by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd, licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria, and insured by the NDIC up to the applicable limit. Pryme builds and runs the technology and the intelligence on top of that relationship.

Can an agent move money without me?

Only below the threshold you set and inside the mandate you gave it. Above that it prepares the instruction, attaches everything it needs, and waits for a named human approver. Every action, approved or denied, is logged.

What happens if one system goes down?

The systems coordinate by events rather than by reaching into each other, so a failure is contained. Core Banking is the system of record, and each service has a defined fail-safe stance at each decision point.

Which currencies can I actually hold?

The ones we are licensed for. Naira today across every product, plus foreign currency balances for holding, receiving, converting and paying out at Tier 2. Savings Boxes, credit and bill payments stay Naira.

Can I see what the agents did?

Yes. Every agent action is on the same audit trail as every staff action, with the same detail, and you can export it.
