Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How a buyer in South Africa checks title, pays and perfects a Lagos flat purchase, and which SARB allowance covers the rand that leaves SA.
From South Africa you buy a Lagos flat through a Lagos property lawyer: they search the title at the Lands Registry, a surveyor charts the plan, you pay only after the searches are clean, and the deed of assignment is then given the Governor's consent, stamped and registered. On the South African side, residents can send up to R1 million a calendar year under the single discretionary allowance and up to R10 million more under the foreign capital allowance with a SARS tax compliance PIN (SARB guidelines, January 2026).
Buying in Lagos from Johannesburg or Cape Town has a Nigerian half and a South African half. The Nigerian half is about title: making sure the seller owns what they are selling, and then making the transfer valid under the Land Use Act. The South African half is about money: getting rand out of South Africa lawfully and keeping records that will matter later, when you sell or let the flat.
Most problems come from doing the halves in the wrong order. People send a deposit because a seller is pressing, and only then ask for the title documents. Reverse it: title first, money second.
Instruct a Lagos property lawyer you have checked yourself, not one chosen by the seller or the agent. Ask the seller, through your lawyer, for copies of the root title (a Certificate of Occupancy, or a registered deed with Governor's consent), the survey plan, and the receipts for the purchase price the seller paid. The Trusted Advisors' guide on Mondaq (September 2024) lists the C of O, deed of assignment, survey plan, Governor's consent and receipts as the documents to examine before buying.
If you will not travel, you will sign through a donee under a power of attorney. Our guide to notarising a power of attorney in South Africa for use in Nigeria covers that step.
Two checks matter most. The Lands Registry search shows the registered owner and encumbrances such as mortgages, leases and government acquisition; only registered land can be verified this way (Adeola Oyinlade & Co, March 2024). The surveyor's charting at the Surveyor-General's office checks the coordinates and whether the land falls in an acquisition area. The same firm also recommends a CAC charge search where a company sells, a court registry search for litigation, and a physical inspection.
| Item (Lagos Lands Bureau SLA) | Fee in the schedule |
|---|---|
| Search | ₦3,750 |
| Survey plan for a certified true copy of a deed | ₦1,875 |
| Consent fee on land services | 1.5% of fair market value |
| Registration fees on land services | 0.5% of fair market value |
| C of O form (residential) | ₦20,000 |
The schedule is undated, and fair market value is set by the state, not by your agreed price, so ask your lawyer for a written estimate based on the current assessment. Lawyer's and agent's fees are not in the schedule; agree them in writing.
A flat in an estate or block is usually sold by deed of assignment or sublease. Under section 22 of the Land Use Act, a holder of a statutory right of occupancy may not alienate it by assignment, mortgage or sublease without the Governor's consent first obtained, and section 26 makes a transaction contrary to the Act null and void. In practice the buyer applies for consent after signing; Tope Adebayo LP's note on Legal500 lists the documents (including three years' tax clearance for both parties) and says instruments should be stamped within 30 days of execution and registered within 60 days.
Stamp duty now sits in the Nigeria Tax Act 2025. A 2026 analysis in the NAU Journal of Public and Private Law reads the Ninth Schedule as charging 1.5% on a conveyance or transfer on sale, paid by the transferee, with property worth ₦10 million or less exempt.
A ₦80,000,000 flat where the state's fair market value equals the price, at an example rate of ₦80 to R1: consent 1.5% is ₦1,200,000, registration 0.5% is ₦400,000 and stamp duty 1.5% is ₦1,200,000, a total of ₦2,800,000 before professional fees. The price alone is R1,000,000 at that example rate; with the ₦2,800,000 of charges (R35,000) the total is R1,035,000.
The SARB's Currency and Exchanges Guidelines for Individuals (version 1.69, 7 January 2026) give South African residents aged 18 or over with a green bar-coded ID or smart ID a single discretionary allowance of R1 million per calendar year for any legitimate purpose, including investment abroad (section 3.1.1). Above that, the foreign capital allowance allows up to R10 million per calendar year with a SARS tax compliance status PIN (section 3.6.1). In the example above, the R1,035,000 total would exceed the discretionary allowance, so part would go through the foreign capital allowance.
If you are in South Africa on a work or other temporary permit and hold a passport rather than an SA ID, section 5 applies instead: foreign nationals temporarily resident may transfer funds accumulated during their stay where the source is substantiated and the amount is reasonable, and must declare foreign assets on arrival. Your bank will ask for evidence of where the money came from. For the transfer itself, see using the foreign investment allowance to invest in Nigeria.
A Pryme Personal Account can be opened from South Africa and holds naira with Nigerian account details, so you can pay a lawyer, a surveyor or the state in naira and keep the payment trail in one place (multicurrency account). Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank. You can also produce a verifiable statement with VerifyDoc.ai for your records (receipts and statements). For the wider checks across cities, see title checks in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Yes. A Lagos lawyer runs the searches and a donee you appoint under a power of attorney can sign for you. Have the power of attorney notarised in South Africa and check what your lawyer needs for consent and registration.
SA residents with an SA ID have a R1 million single discretionary allowance per calendar year and a foreign capital allowance of up to R10 million with a SARS TCS PIN, per the SARB guidelines of January 2026. Foreign nationals on temporary permits use a different rule based on substantiated savings.
The Lagos Lands Bureau service schedule lists the search fee at ₦3,750. Lawyer's fees for carrying it out are separate and not set in that schedule.
No. The Land Use Act requires the Governor's consent before a statutory right of occupancy is assigned, and a transaction contrary to the Act is void. Apply for consent, then stamp and register the deed.
