Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How to protect deposits you pay Nigerian wedding vendors from abroad: written contracts, staged payments, receipts and what to do if a vendor fails.
Pay a Nigerian wedding vendor from abroad only against a written agreement that names the service, the date, the total price and the refund terms, and stage the money: a deposit to book, a second payment once you can see progress, and the balance on or after delivery. Pay into an account in the vendor's business name, confirm any change of bank details by calling a number you already hold, and keep a receipt for every payment. If a vendor fails, the FCCPC takes consumer complaints free of charge once you have first raised it with the vendor.
Planning a wedding in Lagos, Enugu or Abuja from London, Houston or Toronto means paying people you may never meet before the day: the hall, the caterer, the decorator, the photographer, the DJ, the make-up artist, the aso-ebi supplier. Most ask for a deposit to hold the date, often months ahead. When something goes wrong, the person who paid is thousands of miles away. This guide is about keeping that deposit safe and having a paper trail if you need it.
Problems with wedding vendors usually fall into a few patterns, and each one has a matching protection.
| What goes wrong | What protects you |
|---|---|
| Vendor double-books the date or cancels close to the day | A written booking with the date, and a refund or replacement clause |
| Price rises after the deposit ("the dollar has moved") | A fixed naira price in the agreement, with any review terms stated |
| Smaller service than promised (fewer guests catered, plainer décor) | A detailed list of what is included, quantities and photos of samples |
| Money sent to the wrong account after a "new account" message | Pay only the account in the agreement; confirm changes by phone |
| Family member collects cash and the trail goes cold | Pay the vendor directly and ask for a receipt each time |
A WhatsApp chat is evidence, but a short written agreement is far better. It does not need a lawyer for a small booking; it needs to be specific. Ask the vendor to send it on their letterhead or as a PDF, and reply to confirm you accept it.
If the vendor quotes in dollars or pounds, ask for a naira price as well. A fixed naira figure means you carry the exchange rate risk only until you convert, not until the wedding.
The safest structure links each payment to something you can check. A common pattern is a booking deposit, a middle payment once progress is visible, and the balance on or just after delivery. The exact shares are a negotiation; what matters is that the vendor never holds all of your money long before the work is done.
Example: a caterer quotes ₦4,000,000 for 300 guests. You agree 30% to book (₦1,200,000), 40% four weeks before once the menu tasting has been done by your sister and the guest count confirmed (₦1,600,000), and 30% on the morning of the event after the food has arrived at the venue (₦1,200,000). That adds up to ₦4,000,000. If the caterer cancels two months out, your agreement says the ₦1,200,000 deposit comes back in full; if you cancel inside four weeks, you accept losing the deposit. Both sides know their position from the start.
Pay into an account in the vendor's business name, the one written in the agreement. Be wary of personal accounts in another person's name, and treat any message that announces new bank details as a warning sign, however familiar the sender looks. The US payments body Nacha's guidance on business email fraud makes the same point for firms: confirm payment-detail changes outside the channel that asked for them, by calling a number from your own records, because caller ID and email addresses can be faked. That applies just as well to a decorator's "new account" message on WhatsApp.
Paying the vendor directly also keeps the trail clean. Sending lump sums to a relative to pass on is common, but it means your receipts depend on someone else. If a relative is managing the wedding on the ground, let them inspect and approve, while you make the payments.
For every payment, ask for a receipt that shows the vendor's name, your name, the amount, the date, what it is for and the balance outstanding. Save the transfer confirmation from your own bank or app next to it. Keep the agreement, quotes, sample photos and the chat in one folder. If you are covering a sibling's wedding, the same folder is your record of what you contributed (see keeping a record of money you send family).

A Pryme account holds pounds, dollars, euros and naira, so you can convert with Swap when it suits you and send naira straight to each vendor; the app shows the rate and the fee before you approve. You can also generate a verifiable receipt or statement with VerifyDoc.ai for each payment, so anyone can check it is unaltered if there is a dispute later. For the wider plan, see building a traditional wedding budget from abroad.
There is no legal standard. Agree a booking deposit that you could afford to lose if you cancel, a middle payment tied to visible progress, and the balance on or after delivery, all written into the agreement.
That depends on what you agreed. A written clause saying the deposit is refunded in full if the vendor cancels is your best protection. Without one, raise it with the vendor in writing, then with the FCCPC if the vendor does not resolve it.
It is riskier than paying an account in the business name. If you must, make sure the name on the account matches the person who signed the agreement, and confirm the details by phone on a number you already hold.
First complain to the vendor in writing. The FCCPC takes consumer complaints through its portal once you have done that. In Lagos, the Multi-Door Courthouse offers mediation.
