Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

The Spain–Nigeria tax convention has been in force since June 2015. Which income each country may tax, the withholding caps and how relief works.
Yes. Spain and Nigeria have a full double tax convention, signed in Abuja on 23 June 2009, published in the BOE on 13 April 2015 and in force from 5 June 2015. It covers income tax, corporation tax and capital gains tax, caps Nigerian withholding on interest at 7.5% and on dividends at 10% for individuals, and makes your country of residence credit tax paid in the other.
Spain and Nigeria have a full income tax convention, not a partial one. It was signed in Abuja on 23 June 2009, published in Spain's Boletín Oficial del Estado on 13 April 2015 and, according to the published text, entered into force on 5 June 2015. For taxes charged by period, such as income tax, it applies to tax years beginning on or after that date. The Ministerio de Hacienda publishes the BOE text in Spanish and English on its list of treaties, and Nigeria's own list of treaties in force (FIRS Information Circular 2022/15) includes Spain.
The convention does two jobs. It decides which country may tax each kind of income, and it obliges the country where you live to give relief for tax paid in the other. It does not stop you filing in either country, and it does not make income tax-free just because it has been taxed once somewhere.
Article 2 lists the taxes. On the Spanish side: personal income tax (IRPF), corporation tax, income tax on non-residents, wealth tax and local taxes on income and capital. On the Nigerian side: Personal Income Tax, Companies Income Tax, Petroleum Profits Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Education Tax. Taxes introduced later that are identical or substantially similar are covered too, which matters because Nigeria reorganised its tax laws under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 and its collector is now the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), which replaced FIRS.
| Income | Article | What the treaty says |
|---|---|---|
| Rent and gains on Nigerian land or buildings | 6 and 13(1) | Nigeria may tax, because the property is there. Spain may also tax its residents and must give relief. |
| Salary | 15 | Taxed where you live unless the work is done in the other country. Short visits are protected if you are there no more than 183 days in any 12 months, your employer is not resident there and no branch there bears the pay. |
| Dividends | 10 | Source country capped at 7.5% for a company holding at least 10% directly; 10% in all other cases, including individuals. |
| Interest | 11 | Source country capped at 7.5%; interest paid to the other government or its central bank is exempt at source. |
| Royalties | 12 | 7.5% where the owner is a company; 3.75% in other cases. |
| Private pensions | 18 | Only the country where you live may tax pensions for past employment (government pensions follow Article 19). |
| Shares in property-rich companies | 13(4) | Where more than 50% of the value comes from immovable property in the other country, that country may tax the gain. |
| Freelance work | 14 | Taxed where you live unless you have a fixed base regularly available in the other country. |
Two practical points follow. First, for an individual receiving Nigerian dividends, the treaty cap is 10%, which PwC's Nigeria withholding tax summary (reviewed May 2026) gives as the domestic rate anyway, so the treaty adds little there. Second, the interest and royalty caps sit below the domestic rates PwC lists (10% on interest; 5% on royalties paid to individuals), so the treaty does reduce Nigerian withholding on those, but only if you claim it.
Article 24 lets each country relieve double tax either under its own law or under the treaty. Under the treaty method, the country of residence deducts from its own tax an amount equal to the income tax paid in the other country, but never more than the part of its own tax that relates to that income. If the treaty exempts income in the country of residence, that country may still count it when setting the rate on the rest (exemption with progression). In Spain the relief is claimed in the Renta as the deduction for international double taxation; we explain the mechanics in claiming credit in Spain for Nigerian tax.
A Spanish resident earns Nigerian bank interest worth €1,000. Without a treaty claim, Nigeria withholds 10%, or €100. With a valid treaty claim the Nigerian charge is capped at 7.5%, or €75. Suppose Spanish tax on that €1,000 works out at €190 (an example figure, not a rate). Spain credits the Nigerian tax up to €190, so on the treaty claim the credit is €75 and Spain collects €115. Total tax stays €190 either way; the treaty claim simply moves €25 of it from Nigeria to Spain, and Spain may refuse to credit Nigerian tax charged above the treaty rate, so failing to claim can cost you that €25.
Pryme lets you hold naira and euros in one account, so Nigerian interest or rent can stay in naira until you choose to convert with Swap, where the app shows the rate and the fee before you approve. Verifiable statements from Pryme receipts help when Spain asks for proof of Nigerian income. Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank; outside Nigeria, Pryme works through regulated partners. See multicurrency accounts.
Yes. The convention was signed on 23 June 2009, published in the BOE on 13 April 2015 and entered into force on 5 June 2015, according to the published text.
The treaty caps it at 7.5% of the gross interest, against a 10% domestic rate. You must claim the treaty rate with the paperwork the payer and NRS ask for.
No. Article 6 lets Nigeria tax income from property in Nigeria. Spain then taxes you as a resident and gives a credit for the Nigerian tax, up to the Spanish tax on that income.
Article 18 gives private pensions for past employment to the country where you live. Government service pensions follow Article 19, which generally leaves them with the paying country.

More than 183 days in Spain in a calendar year, or your main economic interests here, makes you resident. What that means for income from Nigeria.
Ghana and Nigeria finished negotiating a tax treaty in 2018, but it is not in force. What GRA and PwC lists show, and how relief works meanwhile.
If you are resident in Ghana, Nigerian dividends are in scope there, with a credit for Nigeria's 10% withholding capped at your average Ghana rate.
