Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What Etsy allows when you sell ankara made in Nigeria, what its fees are as at October 2026, and how to pay makers and handle returns.
Etsy accepts ankara items only if they fit its Creativity Standards (updated 10 June 2025): made by you, designed by you and produced by a partner you disclose, or sold as a craft supply such as fabric. Resold ready-made goods bought in a Lagos market generally do not qualify. As at October 2026 Etsy charges a $0.20 listing fee and 6.5% of the price plus shipping on each sale, and your Etsy shop must be registered in a country where Etsy Payments works, which does not include Nigeria.
Ankara dresses, bags, headwraps and fabric are a natural fit for Etsy, and a shop stocked by makers in Nigeria is a common plan for Nigerians abroad. Etsy is not a general marketplace, though. Its rules decide what you can list, how you must describe who made it and where it ships from. Getting that wrong can get listings removed. This guide covers what qualifies, how sourcing from Nigeria fits the rules, the fees as at October 2026, and how to handle paying makers and returns.
Etsy's Creativity Standards, last updated 10 June 2025, say every item must have "a human touch" and fall into one of four categories. For ankara sellers, three of them matter:
| Category | Ankara example | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Made by a seller | Bags or headwraps you sew yourself abroad | You make it by hand or with your own tools |
| Designed by a seller | Dresses cut to your pattern by a tailor in Lagos or Aba | You disclose the production partner and give accurate ship-from information |
| Sourced by a seller | Ankara fabric sold by the yard for others to sew | Counts as a craft supply because its main purpose is making something by hand |
| Does not qualify | Ready-made dresses or bags bought in a market and resold | Etsy says resold commercial goods generally do not qualify |
The practical line is design. If a Nigerian tailor or workshop makes pieces to your own designs, you are a "designed by" seller with a production partner. If you pick finished items off a stall and relist them, Etsy treats you as a reseller, and its policy says resold commercial goods generally do not qualify.
Etsy asks for accurate ship-from information on items made with a production partner. You have two common set-ups. You can bring stock abroad in batches and ship each order from your home country, which gives faster delivery and easier returns. Or the maker posts each order direct from Nigeria, which avoids holding stock but means longer and less predictable delivery and customs charges for the buyer. If items ship from Nigeria, the listing must say so.
Garments sold abroad also need the destination country's labels. In the US, the FTC requires fibre content and a country of origin in English, for example "Made in Nigeria". In the UK, garments need a fibre content label using the permitted fibre names, and online listings must show the fibre content. Import duty and origin rules are covered in importing ankara and aso-oke.
Etsy's Fees and Payments Policy (as at 5 October 2026) lists these charges:
Worked example (illustrative). You list an ankara dress at $60 with $10 shipping. Listing fee $0.20; transaction fee 6.5% of $70 = $4.55. That is $4.75 before payment processing, currency conversion or any ad fee. If the dress came through an Offsite Ad at the 15% rate, add $10.50 (15% of $70), taking Etsy's cut to $15.25 before processing. Price with the ad case in mind.
Etsy Payments is offered only in certain countries, and Nigeria is not on Etsy's list of eligible countries. A shop has to be set up in a country where Etsy Payments works, with a bank account there. For most diaspora sellers this is the country they live in: the shop, the payouts and the tax all sit there, and you pay your Nigerian makers separately.
Paying makers is where most problems start. Pay in stages: a deposit for fabric, a second payment after you approve photos of finished pieces, the balance before dispatch. Pay a business account in the workshop's name where one exists, and confirm any change of account details by phone; see checks before paying a Nigerian supplier.
Returns need planning before you open. Sending a returned dress back to Lagos rarely makes sense, so most sellers write their shop return policy around the home-country stock: accept returns to an address abroad, resell returned items, and agree with the maker in advance who bears the cost of faulty stitching. Put the defect terms in your order with the maker, for example a remake at their cost for seams that fail within a set period.
A Pryme Business Account can be opened from any country and holds naira alongside USD, GBP and EUR, so you can move Etsy earnings into the account and pay a tailor's naira account from it. Swap shows the rate and the fee before you approve, and a verifiable receipt gives you a record of each payment. Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank; see business multicurrency accounts.
Only if you designed them and a production partner made them, and you disclose that. Ready-made clothes bought and resold do not meet Etsy's Creativity Standards.
Nigeria is not on Etsy's list of countries eligible for Etsy Payments, so a shop needs to be set up in an eligible country where you live and bank.
As at October 2026, 6.5% of the price plus shipping, a $0.20 listing fee, payment processing that varies by country, and 12–15% on sales from Offsite Ads.
Yes. Fabric counts as a craft supply under the "sourced by a seller" category, because its main purpose is making something by hand.
