Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How salary advances and earned wage access work in Nigeria, what the flat fee really costs, how repayment on payday works, and when an advance makes sense.
Part of the guideCredit without a loan form: loan apps, BNPL and Spaces
A salary advance lets you draw part of this month's pay before payday, usually for a flat fee, and the amount is taken back from your next salary. It tends to be cheaper and shorter than an unsecured loan because repayment is tied to income that is already coming. The real cost is the fee in naira plus a smaller pay packet next month, so borrow only what bridges the gap.
A salary advance solves one problem well: money you have already earned arrives later than a bill you have to pay now. In Nigeria you will find it offered by employers, by banks to customers whose salary they receive, and by fintech apps. This article explains how each version works and how to judge the cost. For how advances compare with loan apps, BNPL and overdrafts, see our everyday credit guide.
| Version | Who provides it | How it is repaid | Usual price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Employer advance | Your employer, from payroll | Deducted from your next salary | Often free; sometimes a small admin charge |
| Earned wage access (EWA) | A provider that partners with your employer and sees hours or days worked | Deducted by the employer at payroll | Flat fee per withdrawal, or paid by the employer |
| Bank or fintech salary advance | A bank or app that receives your salary | Taken from the account when salary lands | Flat fee, usually a percentage of the amount |
Earned wage access is the narrowest version: it only lets you draw what you have earned so far this month. Providers in Nigeria have set limits such as a cap of 50% of earnings at any time, and some require HR approval above a set amount. A bank or fintech advance is broader: the provider looks at your salary history in the account and offers a limit for the month. You see the fee and the repayment date, and you choose whether to accept before anything is paid out.
Under Nigeria's 2025 digital lending rules, credit must be opt-in. A provider that is not a bank must be registered with the FCCPC, and no one may lend to you automatically or without your acceptance. Our guide to checking whether a lender is registered shows how to confirm this.
Ada's net salary is ₦350,000, paid on the 28th. On the 18th her child needs ₦100,000 for a hospital bill. She takes an advance of ₦100,000 with a flat fee of 3%. These figures are an illustration.
Two lessons follow. First, with a flat fee, the naira figure is what you pay, whatever the date. The annual rate tells you how expensive that is for the time you hold the money, which is why advances drawn close to payday look dear on an APR basis. Our explainer on APR versus flat fees covers this in more depth. Second, the bigger cost is often the ₦103,000 hole in next month. If the next month's spending is the same as this month's, the gap simply moves forward.
An advance works best for a one-off cost that lands before payday: a medical bill, a car repair, a school item, rent due on the 25th. Those are the same costs Nigerians most often borrow for: EFInA's 2026 access to finance survey found rent, medical bills and school fees were the leading reasons for borrowing to cope or consume. It works badly as a monthly habit. Signs it has become a habit:
If two or more apply, the fix is a buffer, not more credit. Setting aside a fixed amount on payday into a separate pot, even ₦10,000 a month, starts to replace the advance within a few months. Our guide on borrowing for emergencies covers how to build that buffer and what to use when it is not enough.
This is the risk people overlook. Salaries in Nigeria are sometimes paid late, especially in the public sector and smaller firms. If your advance falls due and your salary has not arrived, check the agreement for late fees and for what the provider will do. Some providers wait for salary; some charge from the due date. Tell the provider early, in writing, if you expect a delay. Under the FCCPC's guidelines, a lender should try to resolve complaints within 48 hours.
Pryme offers Salary Advance in Nigeria only. It lets you draw pay you have already earned, for a flat fee, repaid on payday. The amount available and the fee are shown in the app before you commit. Credit decisions draw on Nigeria's licensed credit bureaus, with which the lender, Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd, is integrated. Read the terms with the questions above in mind, particularly what happens if your salary arrives late and whether repayments are reported to a credit bureau.
To stop needing an advance, a Flexible Savings Box can build a buffer from each salary. Spaces credit is a separate spending limit, lent by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd, a CBN-licensed microfinance bank, that can be spent only with merchants in Pryme's Spaces ecosystem. More on how advances sit alongside Spaces credit is in our guide to Spaces and everyday credit.
A salary advance is tied to pay you have earned or will receive, and is repaid from that salary, usually for a flat fee. A payday loan is a short unsecured loan that is not linked to your salary and is often more expensive.
It depends on the provider and your net pay. Earned wage access providers have capped access at around half of what you have earned so far, while banks and fintechs offer a limit based on your salary history.
It is a way of drawing wages you have already earned before payday. Some providers treat it as an advance with a fee rather than a loan, but the effect on your next pay packet is the same: you receive less on payday.
With a bank or fintech that receives your salary, usually yes, because repayment is taken from your account rather than through payroll. Earned wage access and employer advances run through your employer.
Check the agreement for late fees and what the provider will do. Tell the provider in writing as early as you can, and avoid taking a loan from another app to repay it.
