Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

An SA retirement annuity cuts your SARS bill now; a Nigerian RSA follows you wherever you live. Tax relief, access and portability compared.
It depends on where you expect to retire. A South African retirement annuity gives a deduction of up to 27.5% of income, capped at R430,000 a year (2026/27), but you can only take it out early on leaving if your visa expires or after three years of non-residence. A Nigerian RSA has no South African tax relief, but PenCom lets Nigerians abroad keep it and contribute in dollars, with benefits from age 50.
A retirement annuity (RA) is a South African retirement fund you contribute to yourself. A Retirement Savings Account (RSA) is the account every Nigerian worker in the Contributory Pension Scheme holds with a Pension Fund Administrator. Many Nigerians in South Africa already have an RSA from a job at home and are now offered an RA by a South African adviser. They are not substitutes; they answer different questions.
The Budget 2026 Tax Guide allows retirement fund contributions to be deducted up to 27.5% of the greater of remuneration or taxable income, capped at the lower of R430,000 or 27.5% of taxable income before any taxable capital gain. Nothing on the SARS pages we read extends that deduction to a Nigerian RSA, so plan as though RSA contributions get no South African relief and confirm with a practitioner.
Taxable income R600,000, which sits in the 36% band in SARS's 2027 tax year table. The maximum deduction is 27.5%, or R165,000, well under the R430,000 cap. A R60,000 RA contribution reduces tax by about R21,600 (R60,000 at 36%). The same R60,000 sent to a Nigerian RSA reduces South African tax by nothing.
On the Nigerian side, PenCom's September 2025 foreign currency guidelines say contributions are not taxable under section 10 of the Pension Reform Act, and that income is taxable if contributions are withdrawn within five years.
| SA retirement annuity | Nigerian RSA | |
|---|---|---|
| Normal access | At retirement under the fund rules | From age 50, or earlier on health grounds (PenCom FCY guidelines) |
| If you leave SA for good | After an uninterrupted three years of non-residence, or on expiry of a work or visitor visa (SARS guide, May 2026) | Not affected by where you live |
| Mid-term access | Two-pot savings component, once a tax year, minimum R2,000 | Temporary access up to twice a year on the foreign currency fund |
| Currency | Rand | Naira, or US dollars under the foreign currency guidelines |
The visa-expiry route matters to many Nigerians on work visas: SARS says the application can only be made once the visa has expired and you have left, with proof of exit and a certificate of residence from your new country. Details are in withdrawing your SA retirement fund when moving back to Nigeria.
An RA stays in South Africa until you meet a withdrawal condition; lump sums taken on withdrawal use the withdrawal table, where the first R27,500 is taxed at 0% and the next band at 18% (2026/27). After you have ceased tax residence, the SARB guidelines let RA lump sums be paid out only once you have been non-resident for three consecutive years. The RSA, by contrast, does not care where you live: PenCom says an RSA holder who relocates abroad keeps the RSA by updating it with NIN, a valid passport and next-of-kin details, and can remit dollar contributions from a Non-Resident Nigerian Ordinary Account.
Pensions paid later are covered by Article 18 of the South Africa-Nigeria treaty: private pensions arising in one state may be taxed in that state. Where you live at the time then decides the rest.
Both products charge fees, and both put your money in markets. In an RA you usually pick underlying unit trusts on a platform, and the platform, adviser and fund fees add up; ask for the total annual cost in writing. In an RSA, PenCom sets the fund structure and your PFA invests within it; the foreign currency guidelines create a Foreign Currency Dollar Fund for dollar contributions. Compare the costs you are quoted on the same basis, as a percentage of assets a year.
Currency is the other difference. An RA is a rand asset: if you retire in Lagos, its value in naira depends on the rand. A dollar RSA contribution is a dollar asset paid out in dollars, or naira on request, under the PenCom guidelines.
This is information, not advice; a registered financial adviser can model your figures. For how the RSA system works at home, see how Nigeria's RSA system works.
A Pryme account holds USD and NGN with local details, which can help you keep dollar savings separate before you remit them through the channel your PFA specifies (multicurrency account). Your Personal Assistant can remind you of contribution dates; nothing moves without your approval (Personal Assistant).
Nothing on the SARS pages we read extends the retirement fund deduction to a Nigerian RSA. Assume it is not deductible and confirm with a tax practitioner.
Yes, but only after three uninterrupted years of non-residence, or, if you were in SA on a work or visitor visa, after the visa has expired and you have left.

PenCom's September 2025 guidelines allow Nigerians abroad to contribute in US dollars, remitted from a Non-Resident Nigerian Ordinary Account to the PFA's foreign currency collection account.
