Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Form a state nonprofit, write the right clauses, then apply to the IRS on Form 1023 or 1023-EZ. The steps, the costs to budget for, and the Nigeria angle.
A 501(c)(3) is built in two stages: you form a legal entity under state law (usually a nonprofit corporation), then ask the IRS to recognise it as exempt by filing Form 1023 or the shorter Form 1023-EZ through Pay.gov, with a user fee. If you file within 27 months of the end of the month you were formed and are approved, the exemption runs back to your formation date.
Many Nigerian community projects in the US start as a group of friends raising money for a school roof in the home town, a scholarship, or a medical mission. At some point donors ask for a receipt they can use at tax time, or a foundation asks for your exemption letter. That is when a 501(c)(3) comes up. This guide sets out the order of the steps, what each stage costs in kind, and the points that are different when the work happens in Nigeria.
The IRS does not create nonprofits. A state does. Most community groups incorporate as a nonprofit corporation with their Secretary of State, in the state where the founders live and hold meetings. Filing fees, annual report rules and charitable solicitation registration are set by each state, so check your own state's business filing site for the current figures before you budget.
What the IRS cares about at this stage is the wording of your organising document (the articles of incorporation). Its Form 1023-EZ instructions (Rev. 01/2025) set two conditions:
Write both clauses in before you file with the state. Fixing them later means an amendment filing and delay.
Once formed, the organisation gets an Employer Identification Number from the IRS, adopts bylaws, appoints a board and opens a bank account in its own name. It then applies for recognition of exemption. There are two forms.
| Form 1023-EZ | Form 1023 | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can use it | Smaller organisations that answer "no" to every question on the Eligibility Worksheet at the end of the instructions | Any organisation, and anyone not eligible for the EZ |
| How filed | Online through Pay.gov, searching "1023-EZ" | Online, with full narrative and financial data |
| Not eligible for the EZ | LLCs, sole proprietorships, partnerships and loosely affiliated groups of individuals | n/a |
| User fee | Paid through Pay.gov when you file; the IRS points you to irs.gov or 877-829-5500 for the current amount | Check the current amount on irs.gov before filing |
The worksheet tests your projected and past gross receipts and your total assets. Read it before you choose a form: if you answer "yes" to any question you must use the full Form 1023. A town-union group that has been collecting money informally for years should look carefully at its past receipts.
The 1023-EZ instructions explain that if you file within 27 months after the end of the month in which you were legally formed, and the application is approved, your exemption takes effect from your formation date. File later and the effective date is the date you filed. Donations received in the gap may not be covered, which matters if you have already promised donors tax receipts.
There is no single price. Budget for each line and fill in the current figure from its own source:
Example only: a group of five Houston families running a scholarship for students from one Local Government Area might file the articles themselves, use the 1023-EZ if the worksheet allows, and pay for one hour of a lawyer's review of the clauses. Their real cost is the sum of the state fee, the IRS fee and that hour, each checked on the day.
Form 1023-EZ asks whether you will conduct activities outside the United States. Answer it accurately. A US charity spending money in Nigeria needs records showing the money went to the charitable purpose: invoices from the school contractor, signed acknowledgements from scholarship recipients, photographs of completed work. Keep decisions about grants with your US board, in minutes, rather than leaving them to a relative on the ground.
If the project needs a permanent presence in Nigeria, with staff, property or a local bank account, the Nigerian side usually registers as incorporated trustees with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The CAC fee schedule gazetted on 29 May 2025 lists ₦5,000 for an incorporated trustees name reservation and ₦40,000 for registration. The full Part F process is covered in our Nigeria guide to registering an NGO with CAC. Nigerian incorporated trustees also file bi-annual statements with CAC, so someone must own that duty.
A US nonprofit funding work in Nigeria needs to move dollars into naira and show where every payment went. A Pryme Business Account holds USD and NGN in one place; Swap shows the rate and the fee before you approve, and verifiable receipts and statements from VerifyDoc.ai give your board and donors records that can be checked as unaltered. If you are still deciding whether you need a 501(c)(3) at all, read our guide to hometown association structures and how fiscal sponsorship works.
It is the state incorporation fee plus the IRS user fee for Form 1023 or 1023-EZ, plus any state charity registration and professional help. Each is set by its own body, so check the state filing site and irs.gov on the day you file.
Only once it is a legal entity such as a nonprofit corporation, and only if it answers no to every question on the Eligibility Worksheet. The IRS says loosely affiliated groups of individuals and LLCs cannot use the EZ.
Yes, the forms ask about activities outside the US, but the board should control the decisions and keep records proving the money served the charitable purpose.
If you file more than 27 months after the end of the month you were formed, exemption generally starts from the filing date rather than your formation date.
