Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A Nigerian dollar card can be declined in the US for reasons unrelated to your balance. The limits, settings, codes and merchant checks to go through.
Nigerian dollar cards are most often declined in the US because a per-transaction or daily limit was hit, international or online use is switched off, the balance does not cover fees as well as the price, or a security code went to a Nigerian number. Less often the merchant's own checks reject a foreign card. Check the card's limits and settings in the bank app, then call the bank if it still fails.
Nigerian dollar cards carry limits per transaction, per day and sometimes per month, often split by channel. A $2,800 laptop can fail on a card that has $5,000 in it. Banks publish different figures:
| Card | Published limits | Source |
|---|---|---|
| UBA Dollar Prepaid Card | Per transaction: ATM $650, POS $3,000, online $2,500. Daily: ATM $3,000, POS $10,000, online $2,500. Monthly $10,000 | UBA prepaid cards page, Oct 2026 |
| Stanbic IBTC USD debit card | Daily: ATM $1,000, web $3,500, POS $6,500 | Stanbic IBTC cards FAQ |
| Fidelity dollar card | $5,000 (ATM $1,000, POS and web $5,000) | Fidelity FAQs |
Check your own card's limits in the app or by calling; they vary by card tier and can change.
Some banks add a charge on top of the purchase, and the card needs enough balance for both. Fidelity's FAQs, for example, list a 2% charge on dollar-to-dollar card use and 3% where the card is used in other currencies, plus ATM owner charges. On a $1,000 purchase a 2% charge is $20, so a card holding exactly $1,000 is declined. Keep a margin of a few per cent above what you plan to spend.
Online payments often ask the issuing bank to confirm the cardholder, usually with a code sent by SMS. If it goes to a Nigerian number you cannot receive, the payment fails at that step; see OTPs not arriving in the US. Separately, the bank's fraud systems may block a first use in a new country or several fast transactions. A quick call to unblock it usually works; asking the bank to note your travel or residence helps.
Some declines come from the merchant's checks rather than your bank. US online checkouts commonly check the billing address or ZIP code against the card issuer's records, which a Nigerian card cannot always match. Fuel pumps that ask for a ZIP code often reject foreign cards; paying inside works better. Hotels and car hire firms place pre-authorisation holds above the bill, which count against your limit. Subscription services sometimes accept only US-issued cards. None of these mean the card is faulty.
Cash withdrawals have their own, lower limits. UBA's page lists $650 per ATM transaction and $3,000 a day on its dollar prepaid card; Stanbic's FAQ lists $1,000 a day at ATMs on its USD debit card; Fidelity lists $1,000 at ATMs on its dollar card. US ATM operators also charge their own fee, shown on screen before you accept, and some machines limit how much a single withdrawal can be, whatever your card allows. If a withdrawal fails, try a smaller amount before assuming the card is blocked, and check the app afterwards for a reversal if the machine debited you without paying out.
Kemi's UBA dollar prepaid card holds $3,200. She tries to buy a $2,600 sofa online and is declined: the online per-transaction limit on UBA's page is $2,500. She pays $2,000 by card in store, where the POS per-transaction limit is $3,000, and the rest by her US debit card. Same card, same day, different channel.
If your card is declined again and again at US merchants that accept other foreign cards, ask the bank whether your card tier suits regular US use, or whether a different card would carry higher limits. For everyday US life, a US debit or credit card in your own name is usually the steadier tool, with the Nigerian dollar card kept for spending from savings held in Nigeria. Our guide to paying for things in the US with a Nigerian dollar card compares the main card types.
If you hold dollars to spend in the US, it helps to see the balance and any conversion clearly before you pay. A Pryme account holds USD with local account details alongside naira (multicurrency), and approvals use an authenticator app rather than SMS codes (security). Outside Nigeria, Pryme's services are provided through regulated partners.
Common reasons are an online per-transaction limit lower than the price, online or international use switched off, a code sent to a Nigerian number you cannot receive, or the merchant rejecting a foreign billing address.
UBA's prepaid cards page, as at October 2026, lists $2,500 per online transaction and $2,500 a day online, within a $10,000 monthly limit.
Many US pumps ask for a ZIP code, which a Nigerian card cannot match. Paying inside the station usually works.
Some do. Fidelity lists 2% on dollar-to-dollar card use and 3% for other currencies, plus ATM owner charges. Check your bank's tariff.
