Ten years, one trunk

The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.

2016E-commerce

2018OjirehPrime Card

2020Microfinance bank

PrymeSolid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.

2023Multicurrency

More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.

2026Agentic operations

Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.

Questions

The things people ask us first.

What is Pryme?

Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.

Can I hold dollars, pounds and euros in a Pryme account?

Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.

What is Spaces?

Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.

What do the agents on a Pryme Business Account do?

Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.

How does Pryme Pay work?

Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.

What are Savings Boxes?

Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.

Who holds my money, and is it protected?

Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Can I build on Pryme?

Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What is Pryme?

Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives you one account that holds US dollars, pounds sterling and euros beside Naira, with an assistant that runs the account for you and asks before anything moves. Accounts are provided in Nigeria today, and further markets open as each licence lands.

Can I open a Pryme account from outside Nigeria?

Accounts are provided in Nigeria today, subject to verification and approval. Foreign-currency balances are held and converted inside that account, so you can hold, receive and swap dollars, pounds and euros wherever you are.

Which currencies can I hold with Pryme?

Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros, side by side on one ledger. Each has its own details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area — and each has its own statement.

How do I send money to Nigeria with Pryme?

Swap at a rate you set rather than the rate of the day, then send to any Pryme username or to a Nigerian bank account. There is no fee to send to another Pryme account.

What does the assistant do?

Eva is the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals, pays what is due and follows up what is owed to you — and asks you before anything moves.

What is Pryme Rails?

Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

The short answer

Fidelity Bank's contact centre, True Serve, is on 0700 343 35489, 02 01 4611119 and 02 01 4485252 in Nigeria and 0908 798 9069 from abroad, with WhatsApp on 0903 000 5252 and the Ivy chat assistant on 0903 000 0302. The email is trueserve@fidelitybank.ng, and Fidelity says it will never ask for your full card number, PIN, OTP, password or BVN.

Fidelity's official contact channels

Fidelity Bank calls its interactive contact centre True Serve and says on its contact page that agents are available any day and at any time. These are the channels the bank itself lists, checked on fidelitybank.ng in October 2026.

Fidelity's pages write the email both as trueserve@fidelitybank.ng and true.serve@fidelitybank.ng. Both appear on the bank's own site; if a message bounces, try the other spelling. The bank's website also has a contact form with categories including "Dispense / Transfer Errors" and "Account Management Service", which helps your complaint reach the right team.

Social media

Fidelity links to @fidelitybankplc on X and Instagram, FidelityBankplc on Facebook and fidelitybankplc on LinkedIn. Use them to check for outage notices, not to share account details.

Which channel to use

  • Lost card or phone, or a debit you did not make: call 0700 343 35489 at once. You can also block a card with *770*911# and freeze the account with *770*PhoneNumber#.
  • Failed transfer or ATM dispense error: use the contact form under "Dispense / Transfer Errors" or email, so you have a written record.
  • Account restriction, upgrade or dormancy: call first to learn what is needed, then send documents by email or at a branch.
  • Living abroad: the diaspora email and phone line, or 0908 798 9069.

How to spot a fake Fidelity contact

Fidelity's scam alert page says the bank will never request your complete card number (PAN), PIN, OTP, password or BVN, and will never ask you to transfer money to yourself or another account because of fraud detection. It also says Fidelity has no affiliation with investment-related WhatsApp or Telegram groups.

  • A number that is not on the list above, especially a personal mobile number sent by text or DM.
  • A social media account that replies to your complaint and asks you to "DM your details" or click a link.
  • Anyone who asks for an OTP to "reverse" a transaction or "unblock" your account.
  • Pressure to act now, threats to close your account or offers to lift a restriction for a fee.

Making your complaint count

  1. Write down your account number, the date and time of the issue, the amount and any transaction reference or session ID.
  2. Ask the agent for a complaint reference number and the expected resolution date.
  3. Follow a call with an email to trueserve@fidelitybank.ng that repeats the reference, so there is a written trail.
  4. Keep screenshots of alerts and error messages.

If Fidelity does not resolve the complaint, the CBN asks customers to complain to the bank first and allow two weeks, then write to its Consumer Protection Department with the history and evidence, including proof that you reported it to the bank first. See how to complain about a bank to the CBN.

Calling from abroad and branch visits

From outside Nigeria, dial the abroad line in international format, +234 908 798 9069, or use WhatsApp, which avoids call charges on most plans. The diaspora desk deals with account opening, updates and reactivation for Nigerians abroad, and its FAQ says forms can be scanned and emailed.

For problems that need identity checks, such as unlocking online banking, changing a phone number or retrieving a card retained at a Fidelity ATM, the FAQ sends customers to a branch. Fidelity's website has a branch and ATM locator. Take a valid ID, your account number and any reference from an earlier call. If you visit about an earlier complaint, ask the Customer Service Unit to note the visit against the same reference so the history stays in one place.

Common reasons people call

Most calls are about a handful of problems we cover in detail: *770# PIN and lock-outs, wrong transfers, app and OTP trouble, and account restrictions. Reading the relevant guide first often means you can give the agent exactly what they need in the first call.

Where Pryme fits

Pryme customers reach support through the channels on the contact page; like any bank, Pryme never asks for your PIN.
