Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A labelled monthly budget for a family of four in Asaba, and the three items that swing it most: school fees, fuel and rent.
In our labelled example, a family of four in a two-bedroom flat in Asaba with two children in private primary school spends about ₦802,000 a month. Feeding is the biggest single line, but school fees, fuel and rent are the items that swing the total most, because they arrive in lumps or change with pump prices. Spreading the lump-sum costs into monthly set-asides is the main way to keep the budget steady.
Families in Asaba juggle bills that arrive on very different timetables: food every week, tokens every few weeks, school fees every term and rent once a year. A budget that only looks at this month misses the big payments coming. This guide builds a monthly plan for a family of four, shows how to turn termly and yearly costs into monthly amounts, and looks closely at the items that move most.
| Item (example only) | Per month | How it is worked out |
|---|---|---|
| Rent: 2-bedroom flat at ₦1,800,000 a year | ₦150,000 | Annual rent ÷ 12 |
| Feeding and household items | ₦250,000 | Market and supermarket |
| School fees: two children at ₦300,000 a term each | ₦150,000 | ₦1,800,000 a year ÷ 12 |
| Transport and car fuel | ₦80,000 | School runs and work |
| Electricity tokens | ₦45,000 | Depends on band and use |
| Generator fuel | ₦50,000 | About 31 litres at May 2026 South-South average |
| Data, phone and TV | ₦25,000 | |
| Health (DSCHC informal plan, 4 × ₦7,000 a year) | ₦2,333 | ₦28,000 a year ÷ 12 |
| Other: clothing, church, celebrations, repairs | ₦50,000 | |
| Total (example) | ₦802,333 |
Private school fees in Asaba vary from modest neighbourhood schools to premium schools charging several times as much. In the example, two children at ₦300,000 a term each cost ₦1,800,000 a year. Add uniforms, books, levies and resumption costs at the start of each session, which can come to a large share of a term's fees. Ask the school for the full list of charges, not just tuition, before enrolling.
Fuel affects the family twice: the car or school run, and the generator. The National Bureau of Statistics price watch for May 2026, reported by Legit.ng, put average petrol at ₦1,623.84 a litre in the South-South zone. At that price ₦50,000 buys about 31 litres. A 10% rise in the pump price, with no change in use, adds about ₦13,000 a month across the example's ₦80,000 transport and ₦50,000 generator lines. Pump prices moved again later in 2026; check your station.
Rent is usually paid a year in advance, plus agency and agreement fees when you move. A renewal that rises by 20% on ₦1,800,000 adds ₦360,000 a year, or ₦30,000 a month. Put the monthly set-aside somewhere you will not spend it.
The Delta State Contributory Health Commission lists ₦7,000 a year per person for its informal plan. Its formal plan, for employees whose premiums are deducted from payroll, covers the principal enrollee, a spouse and up to four children under 18. Under the equity plan the state pays the premium for pregnant women, children under five, people over 65, people with disabilities and residents classified as poor. If one parent is a state worker, check whether the family is already covered before paying for informal plans. See hospitals in Asaba and the DSCHC.
NERC's July 2025 order for BEDC set Band A at ₦209.50 per kWh with at least 20 hours of supply a day; the lower bands cost less per unit but promise fewer hours. NERC has since issued a September 2026 MYTO order, so check your receipt for the current rate. Families often find that a better band with reliable supply costs less overall than a cheaper band plus long generator hours. For the comparison with solar, see generator vs solar in Asaba.
Many Asaba households earn well below the example's ₦802,333, and they adjust the three swing items first. Example only: moving both children to a school charging ₦120,000 a term each cuts the school line from ₦150,000 to ₦60,000 a month; a ₦1,200,000 flat instead of ₦1,800,000 cuts rent from ₦150,000 to ₦100,000; and halving generator hours saves about ₦25,000. Together that is ₦165,000 a month, bringing the example to ₦637,333. The trade-offs are real, so decide them as a family rather than one bill at a time.
For the method in more detail, see how to budget on a Nigerian salary and a school resumption checklist.
Separate Savings Boxes can hold rent and school fee set-asides apart from everyday money (Savings Boxes). A Personal Assistant can remind you before fees and renewals fall due and prepare payments for your approval (Personal Assistant).
In our labelled example, about ₦802,000 a month with two children in private primary school and a two-bedroom flat. Public schools, lower rent or less generator use reduce it.
They range widely from neighbourhood schools to premium private schools. Ask each school for the full list of charges per term, including levies, books and uniforms.
The DSCHC formal plan covers a principal, spouse and up to four children under 18. Children under five are covered free under the equity plan.
Divide each yearly or termly bill by the months until it is due and save that amount each payday.
