Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What a Detty December visit to Lagos costs: what the 2025 data shows on spending, events, stays and transport, and how to build a 2026 budget.
No official price list exists for Detty December, but the best published data gives a clear shape. Cowrywise's 2025 report put total consumer spending at ₦396.54 billion, with 44% on hospitality and accommodation, 33% on entertainment and nightlife and 12% on food, and diaspora visitors financing about 55%. Radio Nigeria Lagos reported shows from about ₦5,000 and venues charging almost three times their normal rates, so a 2026 visit is best budgeted line by line, with accommodation and events booked early.
Detty December is the name for the run of concerts, parties, beach days and homecomings in Lagos (and increasingly other cities) from late November into the new year. For many people abroad it is the one trip a year they plan around. Prices move with demand, and the season has its own inflation. This guide sets out what published sources say about where the money goes, then shows how to build your own budget for December 2026.
The most detailed public breakdown is Cowrywise's 2025 Detty December Report. Its headline figures:
| Category | Spend reported | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Hospitality and accommodation | ₦175.5 billion | 44.23% |
| Entertainment and nightlife | ₦129.5 billion | 32.67% |
| Food and dining | ₦51.2 billion | 12% |
| Fashion and retail | ₦36.6 billion | 9.25% |
| Wellness and recovery | ₦3.73 billion | 0.94% |
| Total | ₦396.54 billion |
The report says diaspora visitors financed about ₦218.10 billion (55%) and Lagos hosts about ₦99.13 billion (25%). It puts concerts and live music at ₦35.73 billion, and spending in Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Lekki Phase 1 at ₦94.58 billion, well ahead of the Mainland and outer areas. It also noted that Mainland-to-Island trips could cost three times the normal fare and that security costs rose by half. The report does not publish nightly room rates, ticket prices or a per-visitor figure, so treat it as a picture of where money goes, not a price list.
Radio Nigeria Lagos, reporting on 22 December 2025, said hotels were fully booked, shortlets were taken almost instantly, cheaper shows started at about ₦5,000 and bars, restaurants and hotels were charging almost three times their normal rates.
Example: one visitor from the US staying 10 nights, sharing a shortlet with two friends. All figures are illustrative; use your own quotes.
| Line | Example amount |
|---|---|
| Return flight | $1,600 |
| Shortlet share, 10 nights | $700 |
| Four events (mix of ticket levels) | $450 |
| Transport (driver share and rides) | $350 |
| Food and nights out | $600 |
| Outfits and aso-ebi | $250 |
| Gifts for family | $300 |
| Subtotal | $4,250 |
| Buffer (10%, rounded) | $425 |
| Total | $4,675 |
The subtotal lines add to $4,250. Without the flight, the local spend in this example is $2,650, or about $265 a day. Converting in stages rather than all at once spreads your exchange rate risk.
Lagos runs largely on bank transfers, but cash is still needed for some vendors and tips. The CBN's cash rules from 1 January 2026 cap individuals at ₦500,000 a week across all channels and ATMs at ₦100,000 a day, as reported by Channels TV, and the US State Department notes few businesses accept foreign cards, sometimes with large extra fees. Having a Nigerian account you can pay from by transfer avoids most of this. Our guide to naira cash on a visit home covers the limits.
Accommodation deserves extra care in peak season. Ask for the full address before paying, check reviews outside the listing site, confirm whether power is supplied around the clock or by generator at set hours, and get the caution deposit amount and the date it will be returned in writing. Pay to an account in the host's or company's name and keep the booking confirmation with your receipts.
A Pryme account lets you hold dollars, pounds or euros and naira, convert with Swap in stages (the app shows the rate and the fee before you approve) and pay Lagos vendors by transfer. Spaces, Pryme's merchant ecosystem, is a pilot in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt that includes hotels and shortlets, eateries, transport, and spas and salons; see Spaces. For the wider family trip, see a full December trip budget.
There is no fixed figure. Flights and accommodation are usually the largest costs, followed by events and nights out. Build a line-by-line budget, book early, and add a 10% buffer.
Yes. Radio Nigeria Lagos reported bars, restaurants and hotels charging almost three times their normal rates in December 2025, and Cowrywise noted cross-city rides costing up to three times the normal fare.
Prices vary widely by show and seating. Radio Nigeria Lagos reported cheaper shows from about ₦5,000 in 2025; premium tickets cost far more. Check the organiser's own channel.
Sometimes, but the US State Department notes only a few businesses accept foreign cards, sometimes with large fees. A Nigerian account for transfers is more practical.
