Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Every line of a December trip home to Nigeria, from flights and baggage to transport, events, gifts and cash, with labelled examples and checks.
A December trip home costs far more than the flight: budget for flights booked early, extra baggage, airport transfers and local transport, accommodation if you are not staying with family, events, gifts and cash for relatives, health items, and a buffer of about a tenth. Prices in Lagos rise sharply in December, with the Cowrywise 2025 report noting cross-city rides could cost three times the normal fare. Withdrawals are capped by the CBN at ₦500,000 a week per person across channels from 1 January 2026, so plan how you will pay as well as how much.
December is when many Nigerians abroad go home: weddings, Christmas, end-of-year gatherings and the Lagos festival season all land in the same few weeks. It is also when flights are dearest, roads are busiest and everyone seems to need something. A budget that stops at the ticket price is the main reason people come back in debt. Below is a full list of lines to plan for, with worked examples. Every figure in the examples is illustrative only; replace it with your own quotes.
| Line | What to include | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Flights | Return fares for everyone travelling; seat selection if needed | Airline sites; book early |
| Baggage | Extra or overweight bags each way | Your airline's baggage page |
| Travel documents | Passport renewals, visas for non-Nigerian family members | NIS and mission pages |
| Health | Yellow fever certificate, antimalarials, travel insurance | Your clinic; your government's travel advice |
| Airport and local transport | Pick-up, drivers, ride-hailing, fuel, inter-city travel | Quotes from drivers; app estimates |
| Accommodation | Hotel or shortlet if not staying with family; caution deposits | Booking confirmations |
| Events | Tickets, aso-ebi, contributions at weddings and parties | Organisers |
| Gifts and family support | Presents, cash gifts, school fees or bills you will settle | Your own list |
| Food and outings | Eating out, groceries if you host | Your plan |
| Phone and data | Local SIM, data bundles | Network pages |
| Buffer | Roughly 10% of the total for the unexpected | Set aside before you go |
December fares to Lagos and Abuja are among the highest of the year, and the cheapest seats go first. Booking several months ahead and being flexible by a few days on either side of Christmas usually matters more than which site you use. Look at the total for the whole family, including seat fees if you want to sit together.
Baggage is where many budgets break. British Airways, for example, lists one 23kg bag for Economy (Basic fares are hand baggage only) and two 23kg bags for Premium Economy on most routes, and charges a set fee per heavy or extra bag per one-way journey, cheaper online than at the airport. Other airlines differ, so read your airline's own page for your fare type before you shop for gifts. Coming in, Nigeria Customs has said personal effects are duty-free only up to a limit; a 2019 Customs statement put it at ₦50,000, above which goods count as dutiable merchandise. We could not confirm the current figure, so pack gifts in sensible quantities and keep receipts.
Inside Lagos, the Cowrywise 2025 Detty December report noted that a Mainland-to-Island trip could cost three times the normal fare at peak times, and Radio Nigeria Lagos reported bars, restaurants and hotels charging almost three times their normal rates. If you will move around a lot, hiring a driver by the day can be easier to budget than many app rides; agree the daily rate, fuel and hours in advance. If you are not staying with family, book accommodation early and read the caution deposit and cancellation terms.
Decide before you fly how much you will give, to whom, and what is a gift versus a loan. Write the list down. Many people find it easier to settle known bills (a school fee, a hospital bill, rent) directly before the trip, so that cash in hand during the visit is only for presents and spending money. Our guide to setting limits on family requests can help you agree this with siblings.
Cash is limited. The CBN's cash withdrawal rules, in force from 1 January 2026, cap individuals at ₦500,000 a week across all channels, with ATMs at ₦100,000 a day counting toward that, and a 3% charge on anything above the limit, as reported by Channels TV. Separately, if you carry more than $10,000 (or equivalent) into Nigeria you must declare it, according to the CBN's 2026 foreign exchange manual as reported by TheCable. See getting naira cash on a visit home for the detail.
Example: a couple and two children flying from Manchester for 16 days, staying with family in Lagos.
| Line | Example amount |
|---|---|
| Flights (4 people) | £4,400 |
| Extra baggage, both ways | £260 |
| Health: vaccines check, antimalarials, insurance | £300 |
| Driver for 8 days and other transport | £480 |
| Events and aso-ebi | £400 |
| Gifts and cash for family | £1,200 |
| Food, outings, data | £500 |
| Subtotal | £7,540 |
| Buffer (10%, rounded) | £750 |
| Total | £8,290 |
The subtotal lines add to £7,540; with the buffer the plan is £8,290. Spread over twelve months that is about £691 a month, which is why many families start a December fund in January.
The Government of Canada's Nigeria advice, updated 21 October 2026, says proof of yellow fever vaccination is required if you come from or transit an airport in a yellow fever country, recommends antimalarials for most travellers with a clinic visit ideally six weeks before, and notes that facilities may need an upfront cash deposit, a payment guarantee or proof of insurance. Check your own country's advice and that every passport is valid; dual nationals should read the entry rules for their passports.
With a Pryme account you can hold pounds, dollars or euros and naira in one place, convert with Swap when the rate suits you (the app shows the rate and the fee before you approve), and pay bills or send naira to family before you travel so you carry less cash. If you want to save in naira for the trip, Savings Boxes are available for naira held in Nigeria.
It depends on family size, length of stay and where you go. Flights are usually the biggest line, but transport, events and family support often add as much again. Build your own list and add a 10% buffer.
As early as you can, ideally several months ahead. December fares rise as seats fill, and being flexible by a few days helps.
Under the CBN rules effective 1 January 2026, individuals can withdraw ₦500,000 a week across all channels, with ATMs at ₦100,000 a day, and a 3% charge above the limit, as reported by Channels TV.
Customs has said personal effects are duty-free only up to a value limit; a 2019 statement gave ₦50,000. We could not confirm the current limit, so keep quantities reasonable and receipts handy.
