Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

New York's subway is $3 a ride and Houston's local bus or rail $1.25, but a car in Houston averages $12,863 a year per AAA. How the two commutes compare.
In New York most newcomers can manage without a car: the MTA charges $3 for a subway or local bus ride. Houston's METRO charges $1.25 for local bus or rail, with a $3 day pass, but the city is spread out and many jobs are hard to reach without a car, and AAA puts the average cost of owning and running a new car at $12,863 a year for 15,000 miles in 2026. Your real choice in Houston is often between transit plus occasional rides and the full cost of a car.
Houston and New York both have large Nigerian communities, and they sit at opposite ends of the commuting question. New York is built around transit; Houston is built around the car. Rent gets most of the attention when people compare cities, but transport can be the second largest monthly cost, and it is where the two cities differ most.
The MTA's fares page lists:
Many riders pay by tapping a card or phone, and the MTA's own pages explain how weekly fare limits and unlimited options work. Check the current details on mta.info before you work out a monthly cost, because they decide how much a daily commuter pays.
Owning a car in New York adds parking, tolls and insurance that are higher than in most of the country, and many residents simply do not drive. If you do need one for work, see the New York licence steps.
Houston METRO's fares page lists:
| METRO option | Regular fare | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Local bus, METRORail, curb2curb, Community Connector | $1.25 | $0.60 discounted |
| Day Pass | $3 | Unlimited local rides to 2 a.m. next day; not valid on Park & Ride |
| Park & Ride | $2.00 to $4.50 by zone | Check the zone table on METRO's page |
| Transfers | Free for three hours | Tap the same card or phone each time; cash on buses does not get free transfers |
A physical RideMETRO fare card costs $2, the app version is free, and card holders get one free ride for every ten paid. Seniors 70 and over ride free with a discount card.
The catch is coverage. Houston is large and spread out, and a job in an industrial area or a hospital shift that ends late may be hard to reach by bus. Many newcomers start with transit and rides, then buy a car once they have a job, a Texas licence and some credit history; see converting a Nigerian licence in Texas and buying a car without US credit.
The answers often decide the true cost more than the fare table does. A cheaper apartment far from transit can cost more once a car becomes unavoidable.
Houston's Park & Ride buses, priced by zone, are designed for commuters from the suburbs into central job areas; if your job is downtown or in the Texas Medical Center, check whether a route runs from near your home before ruling transit out.
Whichever city you choose, keep receipts for commuting costs in your first months. They show your real monthly spend, which is a better basis for deciding on a car than any average.
AAA's Your Driving Costs 2026 gives an average across vehicle types for a new car driven 15,000 miles a year:
| AAA 2026 average | Amount |
|---|---|
| Total cost a year | $12,863 (85.75 cents a mile) |
| Depreciation | $4,422 |
| Full-coverage insurance | $2,098 |
| Finance charges | $1,184 |
| Licence, registration and taxes | $802 |
| Fuel | 17.32 cents a mile |
| Maintenance | 11.73 cents a mile |
At 10,000 miles a year AAA's average falls to $10,992. A used car costs less to own, mainly through lower depreciation, but newcomers with no US driving record often pay more than average for insurance; see car insurance with a Nigerian driving record.
Example only: one person commuting to work and back 22 days a month.
| Example | Monthly cost | Working |
|---|---|---|
| New York, subway, single fares | $132 | 44 rides x $3, before any weekly fare limit |
| Houston, METRO with free transfers | $55 | 44 trips x $1.25 |
| Houston, METRO plus four weekend rideshare trips | $135 | $55 + 4 x $20 |
| Houston, new car at AAA 2026 average | about $1,072 | $12,863 / 12 |
The example shows why the car decision weighs more than the fare: in Houston, the difference between transit and a new car can be larger than the difference in rent between the two cities. For the wider move, our guide to moving to Houston or Atlanta covers other costs.
Many newcomers save in stages for a car deposit while still supporting family. Keeping dollars and naira in separate balances in one Pryme account makes it easier to see what is set aside for each. Outside Nigeria, Pryme's services are provided through regulated partners.
The MTA lists $3 a ride for the subway and local buses for most riders, and $7.25 for express buses. Check mta.info for weekly fare limits and unlimited options.
Houston METRO lists $1.25 for local bus and METRORail, $0.60 discounted, with a $3 day pass and free transfers for three hours when you tap the same card or phone.
Some people do, especially near METRORail or major bus routes, but many jobs are hard to reach by transit. Many newcomers start with transit and rides, then buy a car.
AAA's 2026 average for a new car driven 15,000 miles a year is $12,863, including depreciation, insurance, finance, fees, fuel and maintenance.
