Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Plant health, food safety and labelling checks for dried hibiscus (zobo) and tiger nuts from Nigeria, plus the extra rules for ready-made drinks.
Dried zobo (hibiscus calyces) and tiger nuts are plant products and foods, so they face two sets of checks: plant health rules based on the species and form, and general food rules including registration, labelling and, in the US, prior notice and supplier verification. Neither appeared on the UK's Nigeria-specific high-risk food list or sampling plan when checked in October 2026. Selling a ready-made sweetened zobo drink in the UK brings in the Soft Drinks Industry Levy as well.
Zobo, made from the dried red calyces of Hibiscus sabdariffa, and tiger nuts (Cyperus esculentus, known as aya, ofio or imumu, and the base of kunun aya) are increasingly sold abroad, both to the diaspora and to buyers interested in "superfood" drinks. They are easier to import than egusi or dried fish, but not free of rules. This page covers dried product for resale and finished drinks.
Both are plant products. Great Britain sorts plant products from non-EU countries into high, medium A, medium B and low risk. Low risk goods are exempt; others need a phytosanitary certificate from Nigeria's NAQS, and high and medium A goods need IPAFFS pre-notification and border checks. Look up the category in GOV.UK's "Check plant health information and import rules" service by scientific name. We did not confirm the categories for Hibiscus sabdariffa calyces or Cyperus esculentus tubers for this article; the service is the authority.
In the US, plant import conditions are set by APHIS and listed in its ACIR database, which should be checked for each product and form.
The FSA's GB import restrictions list names Nigerian sesame, egusi and dried beans, but not hibiscus or tiger nuts. That means no Nigeria-specific increased checks on these products at the date checked, not that they are never sampled. Contamination problems that affect other dried seeds and nuts, such as moulds and pesticide residues, are worth testing for, and a buyer will expect a certificate of analysis.
Retail packs need the full mandatory label for the market. The FSAI summary of EU Regulation 1169/2011 lists the particulars: name of the food, ingredients, allergens emphasised, quantity of key ingredients where relevant, net quantity, date mark, storage conditions, the name and address of the food business, origin where its absence would mislead, instructions for use where needed and, for most prepacked foods, a nutrition declaration. Name, net quantity and (for alcohol) strength must be in the same field of vision, and text must meet a minimum size.
Two points specific to these products:
Our guide to labelling Nigerian food for sale abroad goes into each market.
Dried hibiscus and tiger nuts usually reach exporters through aggregators who buy from many farms in the north. That makes traceability harder: a single bag can mix several harvests. Ask the exporter how it cleans, sorts and dries the product, how it stores it before shipment, and how it codes lots so a test result can be tied to the goods you receive. A supplier that can show a lot code on each bag, matched to a certificate of analysis, is worth paying more for. If it cannot, test on arrival before you repack for sale.
A bottled drink is a different product from the dried ingredient. In the UK, HMRC's Soft Drinks Industry Levy applies to packaged drinks with added sugar of at least 5 g per 100 ml and alcohol no higher than 1.2%. From 1 April 2026 the rates are £0.208 per litre for 5 g to under 8 g of sugar per 100 ml and £0.278 per litre for 8 g or more. For imported drinks, the business that brings them in for its own stock is usually liable, and must register and file quarterly returns. Milk-based drinks above a set milk content are exempt; a kunun aya made with milk may fall there, and HMRC's page sets the test.
Example: a London shop imports 1,000 bottles of sweetened zobo, 500 ml each, with 9 g of added sugar per 100 ml. That is 500 litres at the higher rate of £0.278, so the levy is £139. At 6 g per 100 ml the lower rate of £0.208 would apply: £104.
A Pryme Business Account holds GBP, USD, EUR and NGN, so you can pay a Kano or Jos aggregator in naira and receive sales in pounds or dollars, with Swap showing the rate and the fee before you approve. Invoicing helps if you also sell to other shops.
It depends on the GB risk category for Hibiscus sabdariffa in that form. Look it up in the GOV.UK plant health checker; anything above low risk needs a NAQS certificate.
Yes, if the packaged drink has at least 5 g of added sugar per 100 ml and is not exempt. From 1 April 2026 the rates are £0.208 or £0.278 per litre, depending on sugar content.
Tiger nuts are tubers, not tree nuts, so they are not one of the named allergens. Check for cross-contact if they are packed with nuts or sesame.
Avoid them. Health claims on food are regulated in the UK, EU and US, so check the rules in your market before using any claim.
