Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

₦10 million is twice the NDIC cover at one commercial bank. Options by horizon, how fees scale at this size, and the checks to run before you commit.
₦10 million is twice the NDIC cover of ₦5,000,000 per depositor at a commercial bank, so cash held for the short term should be spread across at least two licensed banks. Money for later can be divided by horizon between money market funds, Treasury bills, FGN bonds and, for those who want dollar exposure, instruments such as the DMO's domestic dollar bond, which set a US$10,000 minimum for its 2024 issue. This is information, not advice.
At ₦10 million, small percentages become real money. A fee of 1.5% is no longer a rounding error, a year of inflation removes more than a million naira of buying power, and a single bank failure would leave part of the balance outside deposit insurance. This guide sets out options by time horizon and the specific checks that matter at this size.
The NDIC FAQ sets cover at ₦5,000,000 per depositor at a commercial or non-interest bank and ₦2,000,000 at a microfinance bank. Cover includes accrued interest, and every branch of a bank counts as one institution. Holding ₦10 million in one bank therefore leaves at least half of it uninsured. If a large part of the sum is for a near-term payment, split it across two or more licensed banks.
Before moving a large sum, check your daily transfer limit and keep the documents that show where the money came from, such as a sale agreement, gratuity letter or contract. Banks can ask about the source of large inflows, and a delayed transfer is costly when a payment is due.
| Horizon | Options | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks | Accounts at two or more licensed banks | Uninsured balance above cover |
| Months | Money market funds, short Treasury bills | Rates fall; early-exit penalties |
| 1 to 5 years | Longer bills, FGN bonds, fixed plans | Selling early at a lower price |
| 5 years plus | Bonds, listed equities via SEC-registered brokers, property | Price swings, illiquidity, fraud |
| Retirement | Voluntary pension contributions to your RSA | Access limited; tax rules on early withdrawal |
Example only. ARM's and Stanbic IBTC's money market funds both list a management fee of 1.5% a year. On ₦4,000,000 held for a full year, that is ₦60,000 (₦4,000,000 x 0.015). The fee is charged inside the fund, so it shows up as a lower yield rather than a debit. When two products quote yields, compare them after all fees.
Example only. The NBS put headline inflation at 14.63% year on year in September 2026 (Voice of Nigeria, 16 October 2026). If prices rose by that much over a year and ₦10,000,000 earned nothing, it would buy what about ₦8,723,720 buys today (₦10,000,000 divided by 1.1463), a loss of roughly ₦1.28 million in buying power. Check the latest monthly figure from the NBS before comparing.
Treasury bills are sold at CBN auctions, with current rates posted on the CBN's money market indicators page. FGN bonds pay a fixed coupon to maturity. Both can usually be sold before maturity, but the price then depends on the market. Our explainers on how FGN bonds work and Treasury bill stop rates give the detail.
For dollar exposure without leaving the Nigerian market, the DMO's FAQ on the Domestic FGN US Dollar Bond (August 2024) described a five-year bond with a 9.75% annual coupon paid twice a year, a US$10,000 minimum and US$1,000 increments after that, open to residents and diaspora investors with a BVN and NIN, listed on NGX and FMDQ, and repaid in dollars. That describes one issue; check the DMO for any current offer before planning around it.
If you are employed, voluntary contributions to your retirement savings account are another home for long-term money. A summary of the Pension Reform Act 2014 notes that under section 10(4), voluntary contributions withdrawn within five years are taxed only on the income they earned, while withdrawals after five years are tax free. PenCom's 2023 FAQ adds that voluntary contributions are allowed provided total deductions stay within one-third of your emoluments. See voluntary pension contributions and tax.
Land and property are common choices at this sum. They can hold value but are hard to sell quickly, and title checks are essential; confirm title with the state land registry before paying anything.
Pryme's Naira Savings Boxes can hold dated portions of a large sum in Flexible or Fixed Boxes, with rates shown in the app. Naira deposits are held by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd and insured by the NDIC up to the applicable limit, so a sum this size should be spread with that cover in mind. One Pryme account also holds USD, GBP and EUR alongside NGN for anyone keeping part of their savings in another currency.
Divide it by when you need it: insured deposits spread across banks for near-term money, money market funds and Treasury bills for months, bonds and other long-term options for years. Check licences and fees.
Deposit insurance covers up to ₦5,000,000 per depositor at a commercial bank, according to the NDIC, so half of ₦10 million would be outside cover at a single bank.
The DMO's FAQ for the 2024 Domestic FGN US Dollar Bond set US$10,000, then US$1,000 increments. Check the DMO for any current issue.
It depends on the rate at the auction you buy into. The CBN posts current Treasury bill rates on its money market indicators page.

With ₦100,000, the right home depends on when you need it back. Options by time horizon, the minimums that apply and the costs that bite on small sums.
₦5 million sits right at the NDIC cover limit for a commercial bank. How to spread it by horizon, and which limits and withdrawal caps start to matter.
