You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Funding, withdrawing and transferring from a Nigerian domiciliary account while you live in the UAE, and what happens when you use its card in dirhams.
From the UAE you can fund a Nigerian domiciliary account by international transfer, move money out of it by transfer of up to $10,000 a day under the CBN's 2026 rules, and spend with a dollar card where your bank issues one; cash in dollars can only be withdrawn at a branch in Nigeria. When you spend with the card in the UAE, the dirham amount is converted to dollars by the card network and your bank, so check the bank's card limits and charges before relying on it.
Most Nigerians who move to the UAE already have a domiciliary account at home, holding dollars, pounds or euros. It is a useful bridge: it can receive dollars from abroad, pay dollar costs in Nigeria and hold savings outside the naira. But using it from Dubai or Abu Dhabi raises practical questions. This guide answers them with what the CBN's rules and banks' own pages say.
The usual route is an international transfer from your UAE bank in dollars. You need the account's name, number, the Nigerian bank's SWIFT code and any intermediary bank details the Nigerian bank publishes for dollar inflows. Under the CBN's Foreign Exchange Manual 2026, as reported by TheCable, people opening or paying into domiciliary accounts are not required to disclose the source of funds. Cash deposits are a Nigeria-only option: the same summary says cash of up to $10,000 a day may be deposited and used for transfers, with banks reporting the purpose. Our guide to sending USD from the UAE to a Nigerian domiciliary account covers the transfer step by step.
Domiciliary account holders may make transfers of up to $10,000 a day under the 2026 manual, and Pavestones Legal notes that Form A is no longer required for outward remittances from self-funded domiciliary accounts. In practice your bank will still ask you to instruct the transfer through its app, internet banking or a signed instruction, and it may ask about the purpose. GTBank's domiciliary page, for example, lists outflows as transfers to domiciliary accounts in Nigeria and abroad.
Check before you need it whether your bank lets you send foreign-currency transfers from its app, or only by form. Some banks require you to visit or email a signed instruction for international transfers, which is slow from abroad.
Dollar cash withdrawals happen in Nigeria, at a branch. GTBank's page says foreign cash can be withdrawn at any of its branches. Charges vary: Access Bank's domiciliary FAQ, for example, lists a 0.5% cash handling charge on withdrawals. Note that cash withdrawals are not permitted from export proceeds domiciliary accounts under the 2026 manual, so this applies to ordinary accounts. Our Nigeria guide to withdrawing dollar cash from a domiciliary account goes into detail.
Some Nigerian banks issue dollar debit cards linked to domiciliary accounts. Access Bank's cards page, for example, lists a USD debit or travel card with an international ATM limit of $1,000 a day and no stated limit on international POS and web spending. When you pay AED 500 in a Dubai shop with a dollar card, the card network converts the dirhams to dollars and your bank debits the dollar amount, sometimes with a foreign transaction fee.
Example only. Ade pays AED 1,836.25 for a laptop with his dollar card. At the 3.6725 peg that is exactly USD 500. If the network's rate plus his bank's charges come to an effective 3.65 dirhams per dollar, his account is debited about USD 503.08, so the conversion and fees cost him roughly USD 3.08. The rate and charge here are illustrative; check your bank's card charges.
Naira cards are a different matter: they draw on naira and are subject to international spending limits that banks set and change. As at August 2026, Legit.ng reported Access Bank limits of $2,000 to $3,000 a month depending on the card, and Business Post reported GTBank's naira card limit at $40,000 a quarter. Do not rely on a naira card as your main way to pay UAE costs.
A Pryme account holds USD alongside NGN, GBP and EUR with local details for each, and is run from the app wherever you live. Money stays in the currency it arrived in until you convert it, and security uses an authenticator app and a transaction PIN rather than SMS codes, which helps when your Nigerian SIM is switched off in Dubai. If you hold naira at home too, see holding naira while living in the UAE.
Yes. You can fund it by international transfer, transfer out up to $10,000 a day under the CBN's 2026 rules, and use a dollar card where your bank issues one.
Not in cash from the account itself; dollar cash withdrawals are made at branches in Nigeria. A linked dollar card may allow ATM withdrawals abroad within the bank's limits.

The dirham amount is converted to dollars by the card network and your bank, which may add a fee. Check your bank's card charges.
