Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Sewing machine and overlocker costs, home versus shop, how to price a senator outfit from time and materials, and a labelled monthly earnings example.
A home tailoring business can start with a manual sewing machine, an overlocker, an iron and basic tools for about ₦475,000 in our labelled example, while a shop with an industrial machine and a year's rent costs over ₦1.4 million. Price each garment from hours of work plus materials and overheads: our example senator outfit comes to ₦25,000 for sewing.
Most tailors in Nigeria earn from sewing clients' own fabric into made-to-measure clothes: native outfits such as senator, agbada and kaftans, ankara gowns and skirts, school and corporate uniforms, and alterations. Some add ready-to-wear lines, bridal work or aso-ebi orders for weddings and other ceremonies, which bring many identical orders with a fixed deadline. Alterations pay little per job but bring regular visitors who later order full outfits.
Whatever the route, the skill clients pay for is fit. A tailor who takes accurate measurements, cuts carefully and delivers on the promised date keeps clients for years.
| Item (example) | Amount |
|---|---|
| Manual straight-stitch machine with stand | ₦120,000 |
| Industrial straight-stitch machine | ₦350,000 |
| Overlocker (4-thread) | ₦300,000 |
| Iron and ironing board | ₦40,000 |
| Cutting table | ₦60,000 |
| Scissors, tape, chalk, pins | ₦15,000 |
| Mannequin | ₦35,000 |
These are example prices only; new and used machines vary widely. An overlocker finishes raw edges cleanly and makes clothes look professional; many tailors without one pay a neighbour per piece, which is a cost worth tracking. An industrial machine is faster and handles thick fabric better but needs electricity, while a manual machine keeps working through power cuts.
| Set-up (example) | Items | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Home start | Manual machine, overlocker, iron, small tools | ₦475,000 |
| Shop start | Industrial machine, overlocker, iron, cutting table, mannequin, small tools, one year's rent at ₦600,000 | ₦1,400,000 |
The shop total is ₦350,000 + ₦300,000 + ₦40,000 + ₦60,000 + ₦35,000 + ₦15,000 + ₦600,000 = ₦1,400,000, before signage and any generator. Working from home keeps costs low while you build a client list; a shop on a busy street brings walk-in clients and looks more established. Many tailors move to a shop once they are turning orders away.
If you rely on a generator, fuel is a daily cost. The NBS put the average retail petrol price at ₦1,596.25 a litre in May 2026 (as reported by Legit.ng); check the current pump price and plan your sewing hours around grid supply where you can.
Example only. A senator outfit (top and trousers) using the client's fabric takes about six hours to cut, sew and finish.
| Cost element (example) | Amount |
|---|---|
| Labour: 6 hours at ₦3,000 an hour | ₦18,000 |
| Thread, interlining, buttons and zip | ₦3,000 |
| Share of rent, power and machine wear | ₦2,000 |
| Cost | ₦23,000 |
| Price, rounded | ₦25,000 |
Pricing from your hours stops you undercharging on complex designs. Embroidery, extra pleats or a rush deadline should add hours, and therefore price. Set a separate, higher rate for aso-ebi orders with a fixed collection date, as they crowd out other work.
Example only. Thirty senator outfits a month at ₦25,000 bring in ₦750,000. Take away materials (30 × ₦3,000 = ₦90,000), fixed costs such as rent and power (₦150,000) and an apprentice's stipend (₦40,000), and ₦470,000 is left for the tailor. Thirty outfits at six hours each is 180 hours, roughly seven hours a day over 26 working days, so the example assumes steady orders all month.
Every tailor meets the client who returns an outfit saying it is too tight or too long. Clear records make these conversations easier. Note the measurements you took and the style agreed, ideally with a sketch or reference photo. Offer one free adjustment within a set period for faults in your work, and charge for changes the client requests after collection, such as a new style or weight change. Saying this at the start avoids arguments at the end.
Register a business name when you are ready to take uniform contracts: CAC's May 2025 fee schedule lists ₦1,000 to reserve a name. Our guide to getting repeat customers has ideas that suit tailors well.
A Pryme Business Account keeps deposits from clients separate from personal spending. You can send an invoice for uniform or aso-ebi orders through invoicing and issue a verifiable receipt for each deposit through receipts, built with VerifyDoc.ai, which helps if a client disputes what they paid.
In our labelled example, a home start with a manual machine, overlocker, iron and tools costs about ₦475,000; a small shop with an industrial machine and a year's rent costs about ₦1.4 million.
Price from your time and materials. In our example, six hours at ₦3,000 an hour plus materials and overheads comes to about ₦25,000 for sewing the client's fabric.
It is not essential on day one, but it gives a clean professional finish. Without one you may pay another tailor per piece to finish edges.
It varies by route and how much you practise. Agree the duration of an apprenticeship in advance and make sure it includes pattern drafting and fitting.
