Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Importing solar panels, inverters and batteries from Dubai: how HS codes set the duty, what SONCAP costs per certificate, and the waiver route.
Solar panels classified under HS 8541 (solar cells, whether or not in modules or panels) were reported at 0% duty under the ECOWAS tariff, while panels shipped as a set with other components under 8502 were charged 5% (Nigeria Customs, 2018). Panels, inverters and batteries are SON-regulated, so each needs a SONCAP Product Certificate for Form M and a SONCAP Certificate (US$350) for clearance.
Dubai is a regional hub for solar equipment, and Nigerian demand for panels, inverters and lithium batteries keeps rising. For a trader shipping from Jebel Ali to Lagos, two questions decide the landed cost: which tariff line the goods fall under, and whether the SONCAP certificates are in place before the container arrives.
The duty on solar equipment is set by classification, not by the word "solar". In 2018, when Nigerian importers complained of being charged 5% to 10% on panels, the Nigeria Customs spokesperson explained that panels under HS 8541 attract 0% duty, while panels imported as a set with components such as diodes are classified under 8502 at 5% (TheCable, 29 March 2018). Techpoint reported the same tariff line: CET 8541.4010.00, "solar cells whether or not in modules or made up into panels", at 0%.
| Goods | What sources say | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Solar panels on their own (HS 8541) | 0% duty (Customs PRO, 2018) | Check the 2026 tariff line with your agent |
| Panels in a set with other components (8502) | 5% (Customs PRO, 2018) | Check the 2026 tariff line |
| Inverters | Not confirmed for this guide | Ask for the rate on the exact HS code |
| Lithium batteries | Not confirmed for this guide | Ask for the rate on the exact HS code |
These reports are from 2018. Tariffs and fiscal policy measures change, and this guide could not confirm the 2026 rates on an official page. Before you price a container, get your clearing agent to give you the current duty, levy and VAT figures for each HS code in writing.
SONCAP covers all imports except a list of exemptions (food, medicines, some chemicals, military goods, contraband and used products other than automobiles), so new panels, inverters and batteries fall within it. SON's FAQ sets the structure and fees:
| Certificate | Fee (SON FAQ) | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Product Certificate PC1 (unregistered) | US$500 | Opens Form M; 6 months, single use |
| Product Certificate PC2 (registered) | US$1,000 | 12 months |
| Product Certificate PC3 (licensed) | US$2,000 | 12 months |
| SONCAP Certificate (SC) | US$350 | One consignment, for PAAR and clearance |
The Product Certificate is issued to the exporter and is what the bank needs to open Form M; the SONCAP Certificate is issued to the importer for one consignment. SON says certificates are issued within 96 hours (24 hours if the file is complete). Since 27 March 2026, SONCAP applications are made on the National Single Window, while the accredited firms still issue certificates on SON's portal. Ask the Dubai supplier which accredited firm it has used before; firms inspect and test in the country of supply.
Dubai solar distributors often sell "kits": panels, an inverter, batteries, cables and mounting rails on one invoice line. That is convenient for the buyer and costly at the Lagos port, because a kit can be classified as a set rather than as separate items, as the 2018 dispute showed. Ask the supplier for an invoice with one line per item type and its own HS code, unit price and quantity, and a packing list that follows the same order. Ask, too, whether the supplier already holds a SONCAP Product Certificate for each model; a supplier that ships regularly to Nigeria often does, and that saves you the PC fee and time. Check model numbers on the certificate against the goods.
The Nigeria Trade Information Portal lists renewable energy among the special sectors that can apply for import duty exemption. The route is a letter to the Federal Ministry of Finance or the supervising ministry with project justification and a proforma invoice, review by an inter-ministerial committee, and a Duty Waiver or Exemption Certificate presented at the port. It is meant for projects, not for trading stock, and the portal does not say whether VAT is covered.
| Line | USD |
|---|---|
| 200 panels at US$95, CIF Lagos | 19,000 |
| Duty at an example 0% (if classified under 8541) | 0 |
| Duty at an example 5% (if classified under 8502) | 950 |
| SONCAP Certificate for the consignment | 350 |
The classification decision is worth US$950 on this example consignment. Check: 5% of 19,000 is 950.
Solar importers pay suppliers in dollars and sell in naira. A Pryme Business account holds both, with Swap showing the rate before you convert, and Invoicing lets you bill installers and customers. See also SONCAP for electronics from Dubai and the Nigeria library's SONCAP explainer.
Customs said in 2018 that panels under HS 8541 attract 0% and panels in a set under 8502 attract 5%. This guide could not confirm the 2026 rate; ask your agent.
Yes. They are not on SON's exemption list, so they need a Product Certificate for Form M and a SONCAP Certificate for clearance.
SON lists US$500 to US$2,000 for a Product Certificate depending on type, and US$350 for a SONCAP Certificate per consignment.
Renewable energy is listed as a special sector for duty exemption, through the Ministry of Finance. It is for projects, not trading stock.
