What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Earning from Nigerian clients while self-employed in Canada: how income tax, CPP, GST/HST and Nigerian withholding fit together, and what records to keep.
If you live in Canada and freelance for Nigerian clients, that income goes on your Canadian return as self-employment income on Form T2125, converted to Canadian dollars. You pay income tax on the profit and both halves of CPP, which in 2026 is 11.9% of net earnings between CA$3,500 and CA$74,600 per the CRA. Services to Nigerian clients are generally zero-rated for GST/HST, and any Nigerian withholding tax may be claimable as a foreign tax credit.
A common assumption among newcomers is that money earned from Nigeria is "Nigerian income" and stays outside the Canadian system. If you are resident in Canada and doing the work here, it is business income on your Canadian return. The CRA expects self-employed people to report it on Form T2125, the statement of business or professional activities, using Guide T4002 (Self-employed Business, Professional, Commission, Farming, and Fishing). Profit, not gross receipts, is what is taxed: income less allowable business expenses.
This applies whether the client pays into a Canadian account, a Nigerian account, a US dollar account or a payment platform. Where the money lands is a record-keeping question, not a tax-exemption.
For 2026 the CRA sets the year's maximum pensionable earnings at CA$74,600 and the basic exemption at CA$3,500. Employees pay 5.95% and employers 5.95%; a self-employed person pays both, 11.9%, up to a maximum of CA$8,460.90. Above CA$74,600, the second additional contribution (CPP2) applies at 8% for the self-employed up to CA$85,000, per Advisor.ca's report of the CRA's 2026 figures. Read paying both halves of CPP for the arithmetic.
If you are registered, the CRA's GST/HST Memorandum 4-5-3 explains that services supplied to non-residents are generally zero-rated, with exclusions such as services rendered to an individual while in Canada and services relating to real property in Canada. See GST/HST on services to Nigerian clients.
Nigerian companies paying non-residents for professional or consultancy services generally withhold 10% (PwC summary, May 2026). The CRA's foreign tax credit folio (S5-F2-C1) allows a credit limited to the lesser of the foreign tax paid and the Canadian tax on that income, and requires evidence such as the withholding slip. The details are in claiming Nigerian WHT in Canada.
Example only. In 2026 Ada, a Toronto-based copywriter with no other job, earns the equivalent of CA$46,000 from Lagos clients and has CA$6,000 of business expenses (software, a share of home office, a laptop claimed under the CRA's capital cost rules).
| Step | Calculation | CAD |
|---|---|---|
| Gross income | converted payments | 46,000 |
| Less expenses | 6,000 | |
| Net self-employment earnings | 46,000 - 6,000 | 40,000 |
| CPP base | 40,000 - 3,500 exemption | 36,500 |
| CPP at 11.9% | 36,500 x 0.119 | 4,343.50 |
Income tax is then worked out on her total income using federal and provincial rates, and any Nigerian withholding tax she can evidence reduces the Canadian tax on that income, within the folio's limit. The CPP figure alone is often what new freelancers have not set aside.
The CRA's folio S5-F4-C1 makes the Bank of Canada rate for the day the default. The Bank of Canada does not publish a naira rate (its table of 23 Oct 2026 lists 24 currencies, without the naira), so naira earnings need an alternative source that meets the folio's conditions, used consistently. Reporting naira income on T2125 walks through this.
Many Nigerians in Canada freelance alongside employment. Your employer already deducts CPP and income tax from your salary, but nothing is deducted from what Nigerian clients pay you. The tax on the freelance profit is added at the top of your income, so it is taxed at your highest rate, and the CPP on it is due with your return if your salary has not already taken you to the yearly maximum. Setting aside a fixed share of every client payment in a separate balance is the simplest protection against a large bill in April. Check also that your employment contract allows outside work; see checking your Canadian job contract before side work.
The CRA says to keep business records for at least six years from the end of the tax year they relate to. For Nigerian clients that means:
Canada and Nigeria also have a tax convention, signed in 1992 and in force since 1999, which can matter where Nigeria taxes your fees. This is information, not tax advice; an accountant can look at your own figures.
A Pryme Business Account, opened from Canada, keeps naira and dollar receipts from Nigerian clients separate from personal money, and statements can be generated as regular or verifiable documents through Pryme's partner VerifyDoc.ai (receipts and statements), which helps when you or an accountant reconcile the year. The Finance agent can prepare a categorised record of receipts for you to check; nothing is filed or moved without your approval.
If you are resident in Canada and do the work here, yes: it is business income reported on Form T2125 and converted to Canadian dollars.
The CRA sets 11.9% (both halves) on net earnings between CA$3,500 and CA$74,600, to a maximum of CA$8,460.90, plus CPP2 at 8% between CA$74,600 and CA$85,000.
If you are registered, services to non-residents are generally zero-rated under the CRA's memorandum 4-5-3, with some exclusions.
Not necessarily. Report the gross fee and you may claim a foreign tax credit for the Nigerian tax, within the CRA's limit, if you keep the withholding receipt.
