Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

When prices move in Uyo: December festivities and carnival, the rainy season and school resumption, with a seasonal budget to plan ahead.
Prices in Uyo peak at three predictable points: December, with homecoming, events, travel and nearby Carnival Calabar from 26 to 30 December 2026; the rainy months, when roads and deliveries slow; and September school resumption. Saving a small fixed amount each month for each peak, ₦45,000 a month in our labelled family example, is the simplest way to avoid paying the peak price.
Prices in Uyo do not rise evenly through the year. They jump at a few predictable points: December, when the city fills with returning families and festive spending; the rainy months, when roads, transport and some food supplies are disrupted; and school resumption, when uniforms, books and fees all fall due together. Knowing when each pressure arrives lets a household or a small business plan ahead instead of paying the peak price. This guide walks through the year and shows a simple way to budget for it.
December is the most expensive month for most Uyo households. Many people who live elsewhere come home for Christmas, weddings and family events cluster in the holiday, and markets see heavy demand for food, drinks, clothing and gifts. Akwa Ibom has in past years staged Christmas events in Uyo, such as a Christmas village, which draw crowds; check the state government's announcements for this year's programme and dates.
The wider region adds pressure. Carnival Calabar 2026, in neighbouring Cross River, is scheduled with its main events from 26 to 30 December, including the Parade of the Bands on 28 December and the street party on 30 December (New Telegraph, June 2026). Travel between Uyo and Calabar, and hotel and shortlet prices across the area, tend to rise around those dates.
The long rainy season in the south-south runs through the middle of the year. Rain affects prices in less obvious ways: bad roads slow deliveries from farms and markets outside the city, flooding can cut routes, and transport operators may charge more when trips take longer. Some farm produce is plentiful in its harvest weeks and scarce later, so the same item can be cheap in one month and dear three months on. Keep a record of what you pay for staples each month; after one year you will see your own pattern.
The rains also bring one-off household costs that are easy to forget: clearing gutters and drains before the heavy months, fixing leaking roofs, replacing damaged footwear and umbrellas, and sometimes paying more for a keke or taxi when walking is not possible. A household that sets these aside in the dry months avoids borrowing for them later. For traders, the rainy season is also a time to protect stock from damp and to check that a shop's drainage will hold.
The new school session in September is the heaviest single month for families with children: first-term fees, uniforms, books and levies all fall together. January and April resumptions are lighter but still bring fees and materials. Booksellers and tailors are busiest in the last two weeks before resumption, which is when queues and prices are highest. Buying in August, or in the holiday before the January and April terms, avoids the rush. See private school fees in Uyo.
Fuel prices affect almost everything else, through fares and the cost of moving goods. The National Bureau of Statistics' Transport Fare Watch put the national average city bus fare at ₦1,431.25 and the average intercity bus fare at ₦9,699.55 in May 2026 (Nairametrics, June 2026). These are national averages, not Uyo prices, but they show the direction. Check the latest NBS release before planning a trip, and see transport in Uyo for local fares.
The simplest defence against seasonal prices is a set of small monthly savings for each known peak. A labelled example for a family of four:
| Peak (example) | Expected extra cost | Months to save | Monthly saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| September resumption | ₦180,000 | 12 | ₦15,000 |
| December festivities and travel | ₦240,000 | 12 | ₦20,000 |
| Rainy-season transport and food buffer | ₦60,000 | 6 | ₦10,000 |
| Total | ₦480,000 | ₦45,000 |
For comparison, Akwa Ibom's minimum wage was reported at ₦80,000 a month as at April 2026 (Nairametrics, May 2026), so a family will need to scale the example to its own income. Even saving a third of these amounts takes much of the sting out of the peaks.
See festive season stock planning for retailers.
Separate Savings Boxes can hold money for each seasonal peak, so December money is not spent in October. The Personal Assistant can remind you of upcoming costs; nothing moves without your approval. Read how to save for December too.
December is usually the most expensive month, with homecoming, events, travel and festive food, followed by September when school resumes.
The main events are scheduled for 26 to 30 December 2026, including the Parade of the Bands on 28 December, according to the published calendar.
Rain can raise some prices by slowing transport and cutting routes, while produce in its harvest weeks can be cheaper. Track your own monthly prices to see the pattern.
Estimate your extra December costs and divide by the months left. In our labelled example, ₦240,000 over 12 months is ₦20,000 a month.
