Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How Houston rental scams work, the warning signs the FTC lists, and how to check who owns a property using Harris County records first.
Most Houston rental scams follow one pattern: someone who does not control the property takes money before you have seen it or signed a real lease. Before you pay anything, check the owner's name on the Harris Central Appraisal District property search and compare it with the person you are dealing with, and never pay a deposit by wire, gift card or cryptocurrency.
New arrivals are easy targets for one simple reason: you are often searching from abroad or from a hotel, under time pressure, with no local friend to walk past the house for you. Scammers know this. The good news is that Harris County property records are public, and a ten-minute check catches most fake listings before any money moves.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) describes the warning signs of rental listing scams on its consumer page (modified August 2026). In practice they show up in a few recognisable shapes:
Rent far below what similar homes nearby charge, or amenities that seem too good for the price, are the other two signs the FTC names. For a newcomer who does not yet know Houston prices, comparing a few similar listings in the same ZIP code is the quickest way to tell whether a rent is unusually low.
The FTC suggests that, for private landlords, you check tax assessment websites to confirm ownership. In Houston that means the Harris Central Appraisal District (HCAD), which values property for tax in Harris County. Its property search offers several search types, including Quick Search and Real Property search. Look up the street address and note the owner name on the record.
For a second check, the Harris County Clerk's real property records search lets you search recorded documents by grantor, grantee, date range, file number and legal description. A recent deed with the owner's name as grantee supports what HCAD shows. Buying copies of documents requires an account on the Clerk's document portal; the search page itself does not state a price, so check before you order.
If the name on the record is a person and your "landlord" uses a different name, ask why before you go further. There can be honest explanations: a property manager acting for the owner, a recent sale not yet on the record, or an owner who holds the house through a company. A real manager can show a management agreement and a business card, and the FTC suggests checking an agent's ID against records. Someone who becomes evasive, or who will not let you view the property, has answered your question.
Example only. You find a three-bedroom house in southwest Houston advertised at $1,450 a month on a social media group, and the same photos on a property website at $2,100 through a management company. The cheaper advert's contact says he is the owner, now working in Lagos, and asks for a $1,450 deposit by wire so he can courier the keys.
The $650-a-month gap is the first clue; the ownership record and the payment request confirm it.
The FTC says not to pay an application fee, deposit or first month's rent by wire transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency, because these are like sending cash and the money is usually unrecoverable. Pay only after you have seen the property, or had someone you trust see it, and after you have a written lease from the person or company the records support. Keep receipts for every payment.
If you have already paid, act the same day. Report to the Houston Police Department or your local law enforcement agency, to the website where the advert appeared, to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and to the Texas Attorney General, which are the reporting routes the FTC lists. Contact your bank or the transfer provider straight away; for a card payment, ask about a dispute.
For the wider picture of renting as a new arrival, see renting in Houston as a Nigerian newcomer and renting with no US credit history. The same tricks are used in Nigeria too: our Nigeria library covers fake house agents in Lagos.
Pryme cannot check a landlord for you. What it can do is keep a clear record: you can generate a verifiable receipt or statement for a payment through our partner VerifyDoc.ai (receipts), and account security uses an authenticator app rather than SMS codes (security). Our guide to scams targeting Nigerians in the US covers the money-transfer side.
Check the address on the Harris Central Appraisal District property search and compare the owner name with the person advertising. View the property or have someone you trust view it, and confirm with a management company using contact details from its own website.
The FTC lists requests for your Social Security number, a licence photo or credit score screenshots before you have agreed to rent as a warning sign. Share sensitive details only once you have agreed to rent with someone whose identity you have checked.
Contact your bank at once, then report to local police, the listing website, ReportFraud.ftc.gov and the Texas Attorney General. Recovery is not certain, so act quickly and keep every message.
No. HCAD values property for tax and shows the owner on its records. The Harris County Clerk records documents such as deeds, which you can search by grantor and grantee.
