Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

The contracts, forms, invoices, payment proofs and exchange-rate records a US business should keep for Nigerian contractors, and for how long.
Keep a signed contract, the contractor's Form W-8BEN, every invoice, proof of each payment with the exchange rate used and its source, evidence of the work delivered, and any Nigerian withholding tax receipts. The IRS generally expects records for three years, four for employment tax, and longer in some cases; Nigeria can raise additional assessments within six years, so six years is the safer minimum for anything with a Nigerian side.
When a US business pays a contractor in Lagos, two tax authorities may later ask about the same payment. The IRS wants to see that a deduction was a real business expense, that the payee was a contractor rather than an employee, and that any withholding or reporting duty was met. The Nigerian side, through your subsidiary if you have one or through the contractor's own tax affairs, may ask whether withholding tax applied and whether the invoice supports the amount. One well-kept file answers both.
| Record | Why you need it |
|---|---|
| Signed contract or statement of work | Shows the relationship, scope, rate and that work is done in Nigeria |
| Form W-8BEN (individuals) or W-8BEN-E (entities) | Establishes foreign status; IRS Pub 515 says a valid W-8 exempts the payee from backup withholding and 1099 reporting |
| Each invoice | Supports the amount and the expense |
| Proof of payment | Bank or provider confirmation with date, amount and currency |
| Exchange rate and source | The IRS requires dollar amounts at the rate prevailing on the day and has no official rate |
| Evidence of delivery | Files, reports, timesheets or acceptance emails showing the work happened |
| Withholding tax receipts, if deducted | Proves remittance and gives the contractor its credit |
| Notes on classification | Why the person is a contractor, not an employee |
Ask contractors for invoices that show their full name or business name, address, the date, an invoice number, a description of the work, the period covered, the amount and currency, and their bank details. Where a Nigerian contractor is registered for VAT, the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, as summarised by Mondaq in May 2026, requires a VAT invoice to show the supplier's TIN and registration number, invoice number, name and address, date of supply, purchaser's name, gross amount, and VAT charged and rate. See invoice checks for Nigerian vendors.
For each payment, keep the confirmation that shows what left your account in dollars and what arrived in naira, if you paid in naira. The IRS says to translate foreign currency amounts at the rate prevailing when the item was paid, lists banks, US Embassies, the Treasury and the Federal Reserve among rate sources, and states there is no official IRS rate. Record which source you used and keep a screenshot or statement line showing it. If your provider showed you the rate before you approved, keep that confirmation; it is the best evidence of the rate you actually got.
| Rule | Period | Source |
|---|---|---|
| IRS general rule | 3 years from filing | IRS, reviewed Jun 2026 |
| IRS, income under-reported by more than 25% | 6 years | IRS |
| IRS, worthless securities or bad debts | 7 years | IRS |
| IRS, employment tax records | At least 4 years | IRS |
| IRS, no return filed or fraudulent return | Indefinitely | IRS |
| Nigeria, additional assessments | Generally within 6 years (no limit for fraud or wilful default) | PwC, reviewed May 2026 |
Because the Nigerian window is longer than the US default, and because both systems remove the time limit for fraud, many businesses keep contractor files for at least six years after the last payment. Keep them longer if a dispute or audit is open, and do not destroy a file while the contractor is still working for you.
The IRS looks at the whole relationship when deciding whether someone is an employee or a contractor, grouping the evidence under behavioural control, financial control and the type of relationship, with no single factor deciding. Either side can ask the IRS for a ruling on Form SS-8, which the IRS says may take at least six months. Keep evidence that the contractor controls how the work is done, uses their own equipment, can work for others and invoices for results. A Nigerian worker who works your hours, uses your laptop and reports to your manager looks like an employee wherever they sit. See employee or contractor.
Keep the files where someone other than the person who paid the contractor can find them. A shared folder with a fixed naming pattern, such as contractor name, year and month, makes a request from an auditor or the IRS a matter of minutes rather than days.
Through Pryme's partnership with VerifyDoc.ai, a customer can generate a verifiable receipt or statement for a payment, which anyone can check is genuine and unaltered. That makes a strong addition to the contractor file. See verifiable receipts and invoicing.
A signed contract, Form W-8BEN, each invoice, proof of payment with the exchange rate and its source, evidence of the work, and any withholding tax receipts.
The IRS default is three years, longer in some cases; Nigeria can assess within six years. Keeping files for six years after the last payment covers both in most cases.
The rate prevailing on the day of payment. The IRS has no official rate; record the source you used.
It is the standard way to document foreign status. IRS Publication 515 says a valid W-8 exempts the payee from backup withholding and 1099 reporting.
