Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Each NYSC allowance change we could date, the minimum wage it followed, and the arithmetic: both rises set the allowance at 110% of minimum wage.
The NYSC allowance rose from ₦19,800 to ₦33,000 in early 2020, months after the ₦30,000 minimum wage was signed in April 2019, and from ₦33,000 to ₦77,000 with the March 2025 payout, after the ₦70,000 minimum wage of July 2024. In both cases the new allowance equalled 110% of the new minimum wage, and in both cases payment came several months after the wage law.
This table includes only changes we could date from a source we opened. The allowance existed before ₦19,800, but we could not verify earlier figures and dates, so they are left out rather than guessed.
| Allowance | Paid from | Minimum wage it followed | Allowance ÷ minimum wage |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₦19,800 | Before 2020 (start date not verified) | Not verified from our sources | Not calculated |
| ₦33,000 | End of January 2020 (payments reported 31 Jan 2020) | ₦30,000, signed 18 Apr 2019 | 110% |
| ₦77,000 | March 2025 payout | ₦70,000, signed 29 Jul 2024 | 110% |
Sources: ICIR (1 Feb 2020) for the ₦19,800 to ₦33,000 rise and the April 2019 signing; Africa Check (23 Aug 2024) for the sequence; the PaySpace summary of the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024; Techeconomy (25 Sep 2024) and TheCable (27 Mar 2025) for ₦77,000.
President Muhammadu Buhari signed the minimum wage law on 18 April 2019. ICIR reported that the allowance increase had been promised since then, that implementation stalled in 2019 while the government and Labour negotiated, and that corps members shared evidence of payment at ₦33,000 on 31 January 2020. Africa Check later summarised the history the same way: ₦19,800 before 2020, ₦33,000 from 2020, after a ₦30,000 minimum wage.
The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024 raised the minimum wage from ₦30,000 to ₦70,000 and was signed on 29 July 2024. In August 2024 NYSC's spokesperson said there was no directive yet to raise the allowance, and Africa Check rated a viral claim of a ₦70,000-plus allowance false. On 25 September 2024 the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission approved ₦77,000, stated to be effective from July 2024. The Director-General said in January 2025 that payment depended on the 2025 budget, and TheCable reported payment began with the March 2025 payout.
Both verified rises set the allowance at exactly 110% of the new minimum wage: ₦30,000 × 1.1 = ₦33,000, and ₦70,000 × 1.1 = ₦77,000. That suggests a link, but we did not find an official document that states a 110% rule, so treat it as an observed pattern, not policy.
If the same ratio applied before 2020, ₦19,800 would correspond to a minimum wage of ₦18,000 (₦19,800 ÷ 1.1). That is arithmetic only; we could not confirm the earlier wage or its date from a source we opened.
The 2024 Act provides for a review of the minimum wage every three years, according to the PaySpace summary. If a new minimum wage is set and the pattern holds, the allowance would follow, likely with a lag of months for budgeting. Treat any figure on social media as unconfirmed until NYSC announces it; Africa Check's 2024 fact-check is a reminder that false claims spread quickly.
Most corps members think in months, but the service year is the more useful unit when you plan savings or compare batches.
| Monthly allowance | 12 months at that rate | Difference from previous rate over 12 months |
|---|---|---|
| ₦19,800 | ₦237,600 | — |
| ₦33,000 | ₦396,000 | ₦158,400 more |
| ₦77,000 | ₦924,000 | ₦528,000 more |
A batch that served across a change in rate received a mix. Example only: a corps member paid ₦33,000 for 7 months and ₦77,000 for 5 months would have received ₦231,000 + ₦385,000 = ₦616,000 for the year, before any arrears. That is why two corps members from neighbouring batches can quote very different annual totals.
A higher allowance does not necessarily mean more purchasing power, because prices change too. Comparing the figure with what you need to spend is more useful than comparing it with past allowances; the method in how to budget on a Nigerian salary works for an allowance too. Our guides to budgeting ₦77,000 and saving during the NYSC year work through that, and the current allowance guide covers payment timing.
For the minimum wage itself, see who must pay the ₦70,000 minimum wage.
Payments at ₦33,000 were reported on 31 January 2020, up from ₦19,800, following the ₦30,000 minimum wage law signed on 18 April 2019 (ICIR).
With the March 2025 payout, according to TheCable. The rate was approved in September 2024 and stated effective from July 2024.
Both verified rises set the allowance at 110% of the new minimum wage, but we found no official document stating that rule.
₦19,800, according to ICIR and Africa Check. Earlier figures exist but we could not verify their amounts or dates.
