Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A ₦30 million mortgage worked through in naira: the formula, a year-by-year schedule, total interest, and how rate and tenor change the monthly figure.
On a ₦30,000,000 mortgage at 25% a year over 10 years, the monthly repayment is about ₦682,479 and total interest about ₦51.9 million, using the standard amortising formula (an example, not a lender's quote). In the first year, ₦7.4 million of the ₦8.19 million you pay is interest; only in the final years does most of each payment reduce the debt.
Most Nigerian mortgages are repaid in equal monthly instalments on a reducing balance. The instalment M is:
M = P × r × (1 + r)n ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1)
Putting those in gives M ≈ ₦682,479. Multiply by 120 and you repay ₦81,897,462, of which ₦51,897,462 is interest.
In month one, interest is the balance times r: ₦30,000,000 × 0.020833 = ₦625,000. The other ₦57,479 of the instalment reduces the debt, leaving ₦29,942,521. Next month's interest is a little lower, so a little more goes to principal, and so on.
| Year | Interest paid | Principal repaid | Balance at year end |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ₦7,415,212 | ₦774,534 | ₦29,225,466 |
| 2 | ₦7,197,776 | ₦991,970 | ₦28,233,496 |
| 3 | ₦6,919,299 | ₦1,270,448 | ₦26,963,048 |
| 4 | ₦6,562,644 | ₦1,627,102 | ₦25,335,945 |
| 5 | ₦6,105,865 | ₦2,083,881 | ₦23,252,064 |
| 6 | ₦5,520,854 | ₦2,668,893 | ₦20,583,171 |
| 7 | ₦4,771,611 | ₦3,418,135 | ₦17,165,036 |
| 8 | ₦3,812,033 | ₦4,377,714 | ₦12,787,323 |
| 9 | ₦2,583,070 | ₦5,606,676 | ₦7,180,647 |
| 10 | ₦1,009,099 | ₦7,180,647 | ₦0 |
After five years of paying ₦682,479 a month, more than three-quarters of the loan (₦23.25 million) is still outstanding. This is why selling or refinancing early in a mortgage clears less debt than people expect, and why prepayments early on save the most interest; see paying off a mortgage early.
| Rate (10 years, ₦30m) | Monthly repayment | Total interest |
|---|---|---|
| 6% (the NHF rate FMBN publishes, Oct 2026) | ₦333,062 | ₦9,967,381 |
| 20% | ₦579,767 | ₦39,572,042 |
| 25% | ₦682,479 | ₦51,897,462 |
| 32% (Sterling's home loan rate, Oct 2026) | ₦835,516 | ₦70,261,872 |
Each step of a few points adds roughly ₦100,000 to ₦155,000 a month at this size. Note that the NHF loan cap is ₦50 million per FMBN, so ₦30 million is within it.
| Tenor at 25% (₦30m) | Monthly repayment | Total interest |
|---|---|---|
| 5 years | ₦880,540 | ₦22,832,382 |
| 10 years | ₦682,479 | ₦51,897,462 |
| 15 years | ₦640,659 | ₦85,318,562 |
| 20 years | ₦629,465 | ₦121,071,570 |
At high rates, stretching the tenor barely lowers the monthly payment: going from 15 to 20 years saves about ₦11,194 a month but adds over ₦35.7 million in interest. At low rates the effect is much larger, which is why long tenors make sense mainly for NHF-type pricing. At 6%, for comparison, ₦30m over 20 years costs about ₦214,929 a month against ₦333,062 over 10 years, a saving of ₦118,133 a month for the longer term.
Your age can limit the choice in any case. Lenders cap the tenor so the loan ends before a set age; Sterling, for instance, requires borrowers to be 60 or younger for the whole tenor of its home loan (Oct 2026).
The instalment covers only interest and principal. Lenders add their own charges, and these change the true cost. Using Sterling Bank's published terms as a reference (Oct 2026): a 1% commitment fee on ₦30,000,000 is ₦300,000 at the start, and credit life and job loss cover at 1% a year of the exposure is about ₦300,000 in the first year, falling as the balance falls. Sterling also advises setting aside about 10% of the property cost for perfection fees.
Two more things to watch. First, the formula assumes a reducing balance. A flat rate, where interest is worked out on the original amount for the whole term, costs far more at the same headline figure; mortgage offers in Nigeria are normally on reducing balance, but confirm it. Second, if the rate is variable, the schedule you sign is only a projection. Ask the lender to show the instalment at 5 points higher so you know whether you could still pay.
FMBN's NHF FAQ refers to using one-third of the applicant's income for servicing a loan, and Sterling caps salaried repayments at 33.3% of net monthly income (Oct 2026). On that test, the ₦682,479 instalment needs take-home pay of about ₦2,047,437 a month. Add insurance premiums, which lenders often collect alongside the instalment, before deciding.
Pryme does not lend for homes, but its Personal Assistant can remind you of a due instalment and prepare the transfer for your approval, and a Savings Box can hold money for prepayments. Compare routes in FMBN vs bank mortgage.
Use M = P × r × (1 + r)^n ÷ ((1 + r)^n − 1), with P the loan, r the annual rate divided by 12 and n the number of months. ₦30m at 25% over 10 years gives about ₦682,479 a month (example).
It depends on rate and tenor. As examples over 10 years: about ₦333,062 at 6%, ₦682,479 at 25% and ₦835,516 at 32%.
Interest is charged on the outstanding balance, which is highest at the start. In the example, ₦7.4m of the ₦8.19m paid in year one is interest.
Yes, but at high rates only slightly. At 25% on ₦30m, 20 years costs ₦629,465 a month against ₦640,659 for 15 years, while total interest rises by over ₦35.7m.
