BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What to do from abroad when a stranger builds on your Nigerian land: evidence, a police report, a petition, an injunction and a trespass suit.
Act quickly and through a representative on the ground: gather proof of your title and of the building, make a police report, have a lawyer write to the occupier, and ask a court for an injunction to stop further work. Nigeria's Supreme Court confirmed in July 2025 that possession entitles a party to sue for trespass, and where both sides claim possession, the one who proves better title wins. In Lagos, the Property Protection Law 2016 also makes forceful entry and encroachment criminal offences.
Finding out from a cousin's WhatsApp photo that someone has put up a foundation, or even a roof, on land you bought years ago is one of the most common shocks for Nigerians abroad. The law gives you several tools: criminal complaints, a court order to stop the work, and a civil claim for trespass and recovery of the land. Which ones you use depends on the state, the strength of your papers and how far the building has gone. This is general information, not legal advice. Use a Nigerian property lawyer in the state where the land is.
Courts decide land cases on evidence, so the first job is to record what is on the land before anything changes. Ask your representative to do the following, and keep every file in one shared folder.
If you have not yet given anyone authority to act, sign a specific power of attorney covering this dispute. See whether a power of attorney signed abroad is valid in Nigeria for how to execute it so it is accepted.
A police report creates an official record and can stop workers in their tracks, but police will usually not decide who owns the land. In Lagos the position is stronger, because the Lagos State Properties Protection Law 2016 created specific offences. A LawPavilion summary of the law lists, among others:
The Lagos Ministry of Justice runs the Special Task Force on Land Grabbers, chaired by the Attorney-General. Its pages list a Free Legal Line, 08146671562, and a secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja, but do not set out a petition procedure, so your lawyer should confirm the current filing route. Other states have their own laws and practice; do not assume the Lagos offences apply elsewhere.
To stop a building going higher, a lawyer can file a claim and ask the High Court for an injunction restraining further work while the case is heard. The full claim usually asks for a declaration of title, damages for trespass, a perpetual injunction and, where needed, possession.
In Olusi v Obaniyi (SC/65/2018, judgment 4 July 2025), reported by ThisDay, the Supreme Court restated that "possession entitles a party to sue for trespass to land", and that where both parties claim possession, trespass is at the suit of the one who shows title is with him. The trial court there had granted an injunction against further trespass and damages, and the trespass finding was upheld. The Court also restated the five ways of proving title from Idundun v Okumagba:
One route is enough if the evidence is credible. Buyers abroad usually rely on documents, which is why a clean, registered title matters so much. Remember too that under section 22 of the Land Use Act a statutory right of occupancy cannot be transferred without the Governor's consent, and section 26 makes transactions in breach of the Act void, so an unperfected purchase is weaker in court.
Sometimes the builder bought the same plot from a family member or an agent in good faith. A firm letter from your lawyer, setting out your title and demanding that work stop, may lead to a settlement: they leave, they pay you, or you sell them the plot at an agreed price. Any agreement should be in writing, signed and, where land changes hands, perfected properly. Do not send money or sign anything until your lawyer has seen the other side's papers. Double sales are covered in omonile and double-sale land scams.
Prevention is cheaper than litigation. Our guide to keeping possession of land from abroad covers fencing, caretakers and visits, and hiring a property lawyer from abroad covers what to expect from counsel.
Lawyers, surveyors and filing fees are paid in naira. A Pryme Personal Account lets you hold naira and pay each bill directly, and a verifiable receipt or statement gives you a clean record of what was paid to whom, which helps if costs are later claimed in court.
Yes. A lawyer acting for you, with a representative holding your power of attorney, can file a claim and ask the High Court for an injunction to stop further work.
Police can take a report and act on criminal offences such as forceful entry, but ownership disputes are usually decided by the courts. In Lagos, the Properties Protection Law 2016 adds specific offences.
Title documents such as a certificate of occupancy, registered deed and Governor's consent, plus your survey plan and receipts. Courts also accept traditional evidence, acts of ownership and long possession.
It can be. Where both sides claim possession, the Supreme Court says trespass is at the suit of the party who proves better title.
