Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How Nigerian rent, dividends, interest and fees are taxed when you live in Italy: the Nigerian rules, the Italian checks and a worked example.
It depends first on whether you are tax resident in Italy: if you are, Italian rules decide how your Nigerian income is treated in your Italian return; if you are not, Italy generally has no claim on it. Separately, Nigeria taxes Nigerian-source income at source, for example 10% withholding on dividends, interest and rent. With no full Italy–Nigeria treaty, relief depends on each country's own rules.
If you live in Italy and still earn something in Nigeria, such as rent on a house in Lagos, dividends from Nigerian shares, interest on a fixed deposit or fees from a Nigerian client, two tax systems may be interested in the same money. Nigeria taxes income that arises in Nigeria. Italy's interest depends on whether you are tax resident in Italy. There is no full treaty between the two to settle overlaps, so each country's own rules apply. This guide sets out the Nigerian side, which is well documented, and what to check on the Italian side. It is information, not tax advice.
Everything on the Italian side starts here. Italian tax residence is decided by Italian law, not by your permit type or by whether you still feel Nigerian, and the rules are set out in Italian tax law and the Agenzia delle Entrate's guidance. Our guide to when you become tax resident in Italy explains them. If you are not resident in Italy, Italy generally has no claim on income arising in Nigeria; if you are, Italian rules decide how that income is treated in your Italian return.
Nigeria applies its own test. Mondaq's September 2026 summary of the Nigeria Tax Act says a person is non-resident in Nigeria only if all of these apply: not domiciled in Nigeria, no permanent place available for domestic use, no habitual abode, no substantial economic or immediate family ties, under 183 days in Nigeria in a 12-month period, and not a diplomat. Many people living in Italy will be Nigerian non-residents on that test, but strong family or economic ties can change the answer.
| Nigerian income | Nigerian treatment for a non-resident (sources dated) | Italian side |
|---|---|---|
| Dividends from Nigerian companies | 10% withholding (PwC, May 2026); Mondaq says withholding is the final tax for non-residents with only passive income | Check how Italy treats foreign dividends and any credit for the 10% |
| Interest (bank deposits, bonds) | 10% withholding (PwC, May 2026) | Check the Italian treatment of foreign interest |
| Rent on Nigerian property | 10% withholding by the tenant or agent (PwC; NGEX guide); the NGEX guide says you file in Nigeria if you have rental income | Check the Italian treatment of foreign rent and of the property itself |
| Fees for work done from Italy | The NGEX guide says services physically performed outside Nigeria are not taxable in Nigeria unless you are Nigerian tax resident; payers may still withhold | Check how Italy treats your self-employed or freelance income |
| Money sent to you as a gift | The NGEX guide says remittances and gifts are not taxable in Nigeria | Not income from work or investment; check if large |
There is no treaty rate to reduce Nigerian withholding for residents of Italy, because the Italy agreement covers air and shipping only, according to FIRS Information Circular 2022/15. See the Italy–Nigeria treaty position.
Example only. You are tax resident in Italy and own a flat in Lagos let for ₦3,600,000 a year. The tenant's agent withholds 10%, ₦360,000, and pays you ₦3,240,000. In Nigeria, the NGEX guide says you should file because you have rental income; returns are due by 31 March of the following year (Mondaq, September 2026). In Italy, the question is how the gross rent and the Nigerian tax withheld are reported and whether a credit is available. Keep the tenancy agreement, the withholding receipt and bank statements for both returns.
Pryme does not give tax advice. A Pryme account keeps naira income from Nigeria separate from euro money, and you can generate statements and receipts, including verifiable ones made with VerifyDoc.ai, as evidence for either tax authority. See receipts and statements.
If you are tax resident in Italy, Italian rules decide how that rent is treated in your Italian return. Nigeria also taxes the rent at source at 10%. Check the Italian treatment with a CAF or commercialista.
For non-residents with only passive income such as dividends, Mondaq's 2026 summary of Nigerian law describes withholding as the final Nigerian tax. Italian tax is a separate question.
The NGEX guide on Nigeria's 2026 reforms says remittances and gifts are not taxable in Nigeria. Very large gifts can raise other questions in Italy; ask a professional.
If you have Nigerian income such as rent, the NGEX guide says yes, with returns due by 31 March of the following year. With no Nigerian income, it says you need not file.
