Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Litres per hour from real spec sheets, multiplied out for 4 and 6 hours a day, priced at dated pump prices. Work out your own bill in three steps.
A small petrol generator uses about 1.3 to 2.4 litres an hour, depending on its size and how hard it is loaded. Spec sheets put a 2.5kW unit at 1.4 litres an hour at half load and a 5.9kVA unit at 2.35 litres an hour at 80% load. At six hours a day, the smaller set uses about 252 litres a month: roughly ₦305,000 at a ₦1,210 pump price (example). Multiply your own hours by your generator's litres per hour and today's pump price.
Ask ten generator owners what they spend on fuel each month and you will get ten answers. Their sets differ in size, they run them for different hours and they buy fuel at different prices. The arithmetic itself is simple: litres per hour, times hours, times the price per litre. The hard part is getting a true litres-per-hour figure for your machine and an honest count of hours. This article gives figures from published spec sheets, works them out for typical Nigerian use, and shows how to check your own.
Manufacturers publish fuel consumption at a stated load, usually 50% or 80% of rated output. The figures below come from the makers' own specification sheets. Brands sold in Nigerian markets will differ, but these give a realistic range for petrol sets of this size.
| Generator (spec sheet) | Rated output | Fuel use | At load | Tank |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HHY3000FK | 2.5 kW | 1.4 litres/hour | 50% | 15 litres (about 10.5 hours at 50%) |
| Gentech EP2800HSR | 2.8 kVA | 1.34 litres/hour | 80% | 3.1 litres (about 2.3 hours at 80%) |
| Gentech EP5900HSRE | 5.9 kVA | 2.35 litres/hour | 80% | 6.1 litres (about 2.6 hours at 80%) |
The pump price is the other half of the sum. NBS put the average retail petrol price at ₦1,596.25 a litre in May 2026. That is a national average across all states. In August 2026, after Dangote cut its gantry price, MRS announced a pump price of ₦1,210 and AP ₦1,220, as reported by Legit.ng. The worked examples below use ₦1,210 as an example price, then show the same litres at the May 2026 NBS average for comparison.
| Example | Hours a month | Litres | At ₦1,210/litre | At ₦1,596.25/litre |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5 kW set, 6 hours a day | 180 | 252 | ₦304,920 | ₦402,255 |
| 2.8 kVA set, 6 hours a day | 180 | 241.2 | ₦291,852 | ₦385,016 |
| 5.9 kVA set, 4 hours a day | 120 | 282 | ₦341,220 | ₦450,143 |
| 2.5 kW set, 3 hours a day | 90 | 126 | ₦152,460 | ₦201,128 |
The sums: 6 hours × 30 days = 180 hours; 180 × 1.4 litres = 252 litres; 252 × ₦1,210 = ₦304,920. For the bigger set, 4 hours × 30 days = 120 hours; 120 × 2.35 = 282 litres; 282 × ₦1,210 = ₦341,220. Halving the hours halves the bill, which is why grid hours matter so much.
In many compounds, tenants share one larger generator and split the fuel. Take the 2.5kW example: if four flats share ₦304,920 a month equally, each pays ₦76,230 (example). Splitting by hours or by appliance is fairer when one flat runs an air conditioner and another only lights. Agree the method in writing, and keep each fuel receipt. Larger sets often run on diesel. The same Legit.ng report gave Dangote's diesel gantry price as ₦1,605 a litre in August 2026, against ₦1,165 for petrol. A diesel set's lower consumption per hour has to be weighed against that higher price.
Fuel is not the only running cost. Engine oil, plugs, filters and repairs add to it, and a generator that is too large for the load wastes fuel at idle. When you compare a generator with grid power, count all of these and not the fuel alone.
Pryme cannot change the pump price. It can keep the fuel budget visible. Put a month's estimated fuel sum into a Flexible Savings Box at payday, and buy electricity tokens in the app (/p/electricity) on the days grid supply is available, so generator hours drop where they can.
Published spec sheets for petrol sets of about 2.5 to 2.8kW or kVA show roughly 1.3 to 1.4 litres an hour, at 50% to 80% load. Your own machine may differ, so check its manual or measure it.
Multiply litres per hour by monthly hours and today's pump price. Example: a 2.5kW set at 1.4 litres an hour for 6 hours a day uses 252 litres, which is ₦304,920 at ₦1,210 a litre.
Usually yes. A 5.9kVA set's spec sheet shows 2.35 litres an hour at 80% load, against 1.34 for a 2.8kVA set. But load matters as well as size, and a big set running a small load wastes fuel.
Run fewer hours by using grid supply when it is available, switch heavy appliances off while on generator, keep the engine serviced and match generator size to your real load.
