Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Going home for Christmas from Dublin: budget lines for flights, gifts, spending in Lagos and cash, plus customs limits and when to convert euro.
Budget a December trip from Dublin to Lagos in five lines: flights (book early, since December fares rise as seats fill), gifts and excess baggage, local spending in naira (transport, events, family support), a cash buffer, and a contingency. Nigeria Customs requires a declaration for foreign currency above US$10,000 or its equivalent, so carry less and convert or send the rest.
December is the busiest month of the year for Nigerians abroad going home. Flights out of Ireland fill early, Lagos prices for events, transport and shortlets rise for the festive season, and family expectations peak. A budget set in October, with the euro and naira sides written down separately, is the difference between enjoying the trip and spending January paying for it.
There is no non-stop scheduled route we could confirm between Dublin and Lagos, so most travellers connect through a European, Middle Eastern or North African hub. Fares for the weeks around Christmas generally rise as the date approaches. Compare total prices including checked baggage, because a cheaper fare with one bag can cost more than a dearer fare with two once you add excess luggage.
Decide early whether to carry gifts or buy them in Nigeria. Carrying means paying for extra bags and staying within customs limits; buying locally means converting money and spending time shopping. Our guide on shipping or buying Christmas gifts from Ireland weighs the two. Nigeria Customs has said personal effects in baggage are treated differently from goods for sale; a 2019 Customs statement put the personal effects allowance at ₦50,000, above which goods are treated as merchandise and dutiable, but in 2020 the Federal High Court in Abuja ruled duty on personal goods in baggage unlawful. Check the current position before you travel. On the return leg, Irish and EU rules limit what food you can bring back, so check before you pack egusi or meat products.
List what you will actually pay for: airport transfers and daily transport, accommodation if you are not staying with family, events and outings, eating out, phone data, and support for family members. Price these in naira, then convert the total to euro for planning.
Some cash is useful on arrival, but large amounts are a risk and bring declaration rules. The Nigeria Customs Service says foreign currency and negotiable instruments above US$10,000 or its equivalent must be declared on arrival and departure, "without exception", and undeclared funds can be seized (Peoples Gazette, July 2025). Leaving Ireland, EU rules on carrying cash out of the EU also apply; check Revenue's guidance on cash controls before you pack. If you are thinking of carrying dollars, see buying US dollars in Ireland before a Nigeria trip.
Add 10% to 15% for the things that always happen: a family emergency, a rebooked flight, a phone that breaks.
For many travellers the largest and least predictable line is money given to family and friends during the visit. Requests arrive in person, at events and by message, and it is hard to refuse face to face. Set a total for family support before you leave Dublin, decide roughly who it is for (parents, siblings, older relatives, children's gifts), and treat the total as fixed. Some travellers send a part of it ahead of the trip so it reaches the people who most need it without the pressure of the visit. If a larger request comes up, such as school fees or a business idea, it is easier to say you will consider it after you return than to decide on the spot; setting rules for family loans explains how.
A traveller plans three weeks in Lagos. Euro side, example figures: flights €1,150, extra bag €120, gifts bought in Ireland €300; total €1,570. Naira side, example figures: transport ₦350,000, outings and events ₦500,000, eating out ₦250,000, data ₦30,000, family support ₦800,000; total ₦1,930,000. At an example rate of ₦1,650 to €1 (not a real rate), the naira side is about €1,169.70, so the trip costs about €2,739.70 before contingency, or about €3,150 with 15% added (€2,739.70 × 1.15 = €3,150.66).
You do not have to convert everything on one day. Many travellers convert a share in October and November and the rest just before departure, which spreads exposure to rate moves. Whatever you do, compare the rate you are offered with the mid-market rate on the same day and note any fee on top; the gap between the two is the real price of the conversion. Never plan from a rate you saw weeks ago. For a Lagos-side plan that survives into January, read December in Lagos: a spending plan.
A Pryme multicurrency account opened from Ireland holds euro and naira in one place. You can convert in stages with Swap, seeing the rate and the fee before you approve, and spend or send naira once you land, without carrying a large amount of cash. Account security uses an authenticator app rather than SMS codes, which helps when your Irish SIM is roaming (security).
Add up flights and baggage in euro, then local spending in naira (transport, events, food, data, family support), convert at the day's rate, and add 10% to 15% contingency.
Nigeria Customs says foreign currency above US$10,000 or its equivalent must be declared on arrival and departure. Undeclared amounts can be seized.
Nobody can time the rate. Converting in stages from October onwards spreads the risk; check the rate and fee each time.
We could not confirm a non-stop scheduled route; most travellers connect through a hub. Check airlines' own sites for current routes.
