Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What a Nigerian naming ceremony in Canada costs, line by line, plus the visa, biometrics and travel bill for relatives flying in from Nigeria.
A Nigerian naming ceremony in Canada costs whatever the hall, food and guest list add up to, and the biggest swing item is usually relatives flying in from Nigeria. Each relative needs a Canadian visitor visa at CA$100 plus biometrics at CA$85 (CA$170 maximum for a family applying together), according to IRCC's fee list as at Oct 2026, before flights and visitor insurance. Plan the travel side first, because it takes the longest and costs the most.
In Nigeria a naming ceremony is often held on the eighth day, at home, with family cooking and neighbours dropping by. In Canada the same event usually moves to a rented hall, a church fellowship room or a large living room, and every item that would have been free at home now has a price. The ceremony itself (prayers, the naming, the symbolic items such as honey, salt, kola, bitter kola, water and palm oil) costs little. The bill comes from feeding guests and from relatives who travel.
There is no official price list for any of this, so the figures below are labelled examples to help you build your own budget, not market rates. Get two quotes for each line where you can.
| Line item | What drives the cost | Example (CAD) |
|---|---|---|
| Venue | Hall hire by the hour, deposit, cleaning fee; church halls are often cheaper | 600 |
| Food and drinks | Number of guests, caterer or home cooking, jollof, small chops, drinks | 1,800 (60 guests at 30) |
| Photography | Hours booked, edited album or files only | 400 |
| Clothing | Matching outfits for parents and baby, aso ebi for close family | 500 |
| Cake | Size and design | 150 |
| Decorations and rentals | Chairs, tables, backdrop, souvenirs | 250 |
| Event subtotal | 3,700 |
For many families the real cost of the ceremony is bringing a grandmother or grandfather to bless the baby, and often to stay for the weeks after the birth. Nigerian passport holders need a Canadian visitor visa. IRCC's fee list, modified 21 Sep 2026, sets these charges:
Those are government fees only. On top come flights from Lagos or Abuja, visitor medical insurance, and any visa application centre service charges in Nigeria, which IRCC does not set. The super visa has its own income and insurance requirements; read what income a super visa needs before you choose it over an ordinary visitor visa. Most applicants will also want a clear invitation letter for parents visiting from Nigeria.
Do not assume a visiting relative is covered by your provincial health plan; check, and remember that an emergency visit for an older relative can cost far more than the whole ceremony. Price a visitor policy before you book flights, and check what it excludes for existing conditions. Our guide to visitor insurance for parents from Nigeria explains what to compare.
Example only. A couple in Mississauga plans a ceremony for 60 guests and flies in both grandmothers, who apply for visitor visas together.
| Item | Calculation | CAD |
|---|---|---|
| Event subtotal | from the table above | 3,700 |
| Visitor visas | 2 x 100 | 200 |
| Biometrics | family maximum for two | 170 |
| Flights | example 2 x 1,800 return | 3,600 |
| Visitor insurance | example 2 x 300 | 600 |
| Total | 8,270 |
In this example the travel side (CA$4,570) costs more than the ceremony itself (CA$3,700). That pattern is common: if the budget is tight, a smaller guest list saves less than people expect, while timing flights well or choosing who travels changes the total a great deal.
A naming ceremony often happens twice: once in Canada with the baby present, and once in the family house in Nigeria where elders gather and a ram or goat may be bought for the occasion. If you are funding the home event, decide early who in Nigeria will receive the money and keep a list of what it is for. Sending one planned amount is easier to track than many small transfers, and it gives you one receipt to keep. Our guide to keeping a naira balance for family costs covers how to hold money for this kind of spending.
Relatives who have flown in may also arrive with naira, and want to buy things here or change it back before they leave. Changing cash naira in Canada is difficult; plan with them before they travel rather than at the airport.
A child born in Canada to a Nigerian parent may later need a Nigerian passport. A November 2025 Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada report cites the Nigeria High Commission in Ottawa as requiring a National Identification Number (NIN) for all passport applications, so budget time for the NIN step before any trip home. Check the High Commission's own page for current fees and appointments.
A Pryme Personal Account can be opened from Canada and holds naira, US dollars, pounds and euros in one place, each with local account details. If you are funding a ceremony at home, you can hold naira for it and pay family directly; Swap shows the rate and the fee before you approve any conversion, and sending to Nigerian accounts works from the same app. Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank.
It depends on venue, guests and whether relatives travel. A small hall event for 60 guests might come to a few thousand dollars; flying in two grandparents can add as much again in visas, flights and insurance. Use the line items here and get your own quotes.
IRCC lists CA$100 per person for a visitor visa and CA$85 for biometrics, as at its fee list modified 21 Sep 2026. Check the fee list before you pay, as fees change.
The government application fee is the same CA$100 per person on IRCC's fee list. The super visa adds income and insurance requirements, so the total cost of qualifying is usually higher.
Yes. Agree one person to receive it, send a planned amount, and keep the receipt. Compare the fee and the exchange rate shown before you approve.
