Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A full 24-month amortisation table for ₦500,000 at an example 3% a month: the instalment, the interest each month and how the balance falls.
At an example rate of 3% a month (36% a year) on a reducing balance, ₦500,000 over 24 months has a fixed instalment of ₦29,523.71 and total interest of ₦208,568.99. In the first year, about ₦148,164 of what you pay is interest and only about ₦206,121 reduces the loan; in the second year the balance falls much faster.
Longer loans have lower instalments, but they spread interest over many more months, and the early months are heavy with it. Seeing the full schedule is the clearest way to understand what you are signing up to, what you would save by repaying early, and why a two-year loan can feel as though it is barely shrinking for the first several months. The rate here is a labelled example; use your lender's offer letter for real figures.
In a spreadsheet, =PMT(3%,24,-500000) returns ₦29,523.71, and the schedule below can be rebuilt with three columns: interest = previous balance × 3%; principal = instalment − interest; new balance = previous balance − principal.
| Month | Interest | Principal | Balance after |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ₦15,000.00 | ₦14,523.71 | ₦485,476.29 |

Figures are rounded to the kobo; a lender's own schedule may differ by a kobo or two in individual rows.
The pattern explains a common surprise: halfway through the term, most borrowers expect to owe half. On a reducing-balance loan you owe more than half, because early payments go mainly to interest. Our guide why early repayments are mostly interest goes further.
If the lender charges no early-settlement fee and you clear the ₦293,879.11 balance after month 12, you avoid the ₦60,405.39 of interest scheduled for year two. Settling after month 18 instead, with ₦159,935.58 outstanding, saves less, because most of the interest has already been paid. Lenders differ on settlement fees and on how they calculate the payoff figure, so ask for a written settlement quote. See does early repayment reduce interest?
Most bank loans add fees. Sterling Bank's loans page (checked October 2026), for example, lists a 1% management fee and a 2% insurance fee on its payroll loan. On ₦500,000, fees at those example percentages would be ₦15,000, taking total cost to about ₦223,569. If fees are deducted, you receive ₦485,000 but still repay ₦708,568.99. Compare offers on total cost and on cash received, using cost per ₦1,000 borrowed.
The schedule is designed so that each payment is the same naira amount, which makes budgeting easier. What changes is the mix inside it. As the balance falls, less of each ₦29,523.71 is needed for interest and more goes to principal. This is called amortisation, and almost all bank instalment loans in Nigeria quoted on a reducing balance work this way. If your lender instead charges a flat rate on the original ₦500,000, interest at the same 3% a month would be ₦15,000 every month for 24 months, ₦360,000 in total, and the instalment would be ₦35,833.33. That is ₦151,431.01 more than the reducing-balance loan, which is why the method matters as much as the rate. Our guide APR vs flat fee: what a loan really costs covers the difference in general.
A spreadsheet makes the schedule easy to check yourself. Put the balance in one column and copy the three formulas down 24 rows; if the last balance is not zero, the instalment or rate you entered does not match the loan. Doing this before signing is the quickest way to spot an offer letter that quotes one method and charges another.
A ₦29,523.71 instalment under a one-third-of-net-pay rule, such as the 33.3% cap Sterling lists for payroll loans, needs net pay of about ₦88,660 a month before other debts. See how to calculate your debt-to-income ratio.
Pryme does not offer 24-month personal loans. A Naira Savings Box can hold money you set aside towards an early settlement, with the rate shown in the app.
At an example 3% a month on a reducing balance, ₦29,523.71. Your lender's rate and fees will change it.
About ₦208,569 at an example 3% a month on a reducing balance, before fees.
Early instalments are mostly interest, so the balance falls slowly at first. In the example you still owe ₦293,879 after 12 of 24 payments.
On a reducing-balance loan, usually yes, because interest stops on the balance you clear. Check for an early-settlement fee first.
