Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Buying a plot in Ibadan while living in the UK: the Oyo land registry search, which title documents to accept, and how to pay safely from abroad.
Before paying for land in Ibadan, have a lawyer in Oyo run a search at the Oyo State Ministry of Lands registry on the exact plot, check the survey plan against government records, and confirm the seller's title. Oyo's own officials said in 2020 that most residential properties in the state had no registered title, so many plots are sold on family receipts; that is not automatically fraud, but it means you should budget for perfecting title through a C of O or Governor's consent after you buy.
When Oyo launched its digitised certificate of occupancy scheme in 2020, TheCable reported the commissioner for lands as saying most residential properties in the state lacked registered titles. The scheme was meant to change that: forms were available at the ministry in the state secretariat and at local government and LCDA offices, processing was put at about 60 days, and the government said it would pay for survey and planning documents for eligible applicants who lacked them. Check with the ministry what applies now, because the 2020 terms may have changed.
For a UK buyer, the practical result is that the plot you are offered may have only a family receipt, a purchase agreement and a survey plan behind it. That can be a lawful starting point, but it is weaker than a registered title, and it is the setting in which double sales and omo-onile demands are most common. Land scams in Ibadan describes the patterns.
| Document | What it shows | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of occupancy (C of O) | A right of occupancy granted by the state | Strongest starting point; still search to confirm it is genuine and unencumbered |
| Deed of assignment with Governor's consent, registered | A transfer from an earlier C of O holder, approved and registered | Good if the chain back to the C of O is clear |
| Unregistered deed of assignment | A transfer that was never perfected | Ask why; you may inherit the cost of perfecting it |
| Family receipt, purchase agreement and survey plan | A sale by a family that claims the land | Acceptable only with family authority checked and a plan to perfect title |
| Allocation letter from an estate company | A promise of a plot in a layout | Check the company's own title to the whole layout |
Buying is only half of it. The deed must be stamped: the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 requires instruments to be stamped within 30 days of execution, and an unstamped instrument is not admissible in civil proceedings, according to an April 2026 review in the NAU Journal of Private and Property Law. Where the seller holds a C of O, the transfer needs the Governor's consent before it can be registered. Oyo's fee schedule was not on any official page we could open in October 2026, so ask the ministry or your lawyer for the current figures in writing. For a sense of what a consent file involves, neighbouring Ekiti's published procedure (December 2025) asks for the existing C of O, three years' tax clearance, a valuation report, signed copies of the deed and evidence of stamp duty, and puts the process at up to 30 working days; Oyo's list may differ.
If you bought on a family receipt, ask your lawyer whether to apply for a fresh C of O in your own name. That is the step that turns a fragile purchase into a registered title.
Example only. A plot priced at ₦12,000,000. Your lawyer quotes ₦600,000 for searches, drafting and registration work; a surveyor charges ₦350,000; and you set aside ₦1,500,000 for stamp duty, consent or C of O fees once the ministry confirms them. Total planned spend: ₦14,450,000, about 20% above the price. Real figures vary; the point is to ask for each one before you commit.
A longer local walkthrough is in buying land in Ibadan from abroad.
Paying a lawyer, surveyor and seller in naira from the UK is easier with a naira account you control. A Pryme account holds pounds and naira, and verifiable receipts give you a record of each payment that anyone can check is unaltered.
Hire your own Oyo lawyer to search the Ministry of Lands registry, have a surveyor check the plan, and get someone you trust to visit the plot.
It can be a lawful start, but it is weaker than a registered title. Check family authority and plan to perfect title afterwards.
