Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A worked ₦750,000 monthly budget for a Nigerian family of four: rent, two sets of school fees, a car, household help and savings.
On ₦750,000 take-home for a family of four, a workable example commits about ₦525,000 (70%) to fixed costs, including ₦150,000 a month for rent and ₦80,000 for two children's school fees, and saves ₦100,000 (about 13%). The fixed share, not the headline salary, decides how stretched the month feels.
₦750,000 take-home is a high income by Nigerian standards, but this example is for a household of four on one main salary: two adults and two school-age children, renting a three-bedroom flat and running a car. At this level the budget is less about whether the money stretches and more about how much of it is already committed before the month begins.
The figures are labelled examples; your rent, school and household costs will set the real numbers.
| Line (example) | Monthly | Share | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rent (₦1,800,000 a year, set aside monthly) | ₦150,000 | 20% | Three-bedroom flat, example |
| Food and groceries | ₦130,000 | 17% | Two adults, two children |
| School fees set-aside | ₦80,000 | 11% | ₦960,000 a year for two children, example |
| Car: fuel, servicing, insurance | ₦70,000 | 9% | |
| Data and airtime | ₦15,000 | 2% | Household |
| Electricity, fuel, cable TV and bills | ₦40,000 | 5% | |
| Household help | ₦40,000 | 5% | |
| Family support | ₦50,000 | 7% | Both sides of the family |
| Health | ₦20,000 | 3% | Clinic, pharmacy, top-ups |
| Personal care and clothing | ₦25,000 | 3% | Four people |
| Leisure | ₦30,000 | 4% | |
| Emergency fund and sinking funds | ₦60,000 | 8% | |
| Long-term savings and investment | ₦40,000 | 5% | |
| Total | ₦750,000 | 100% |
Add up the lines you cannot change at short notice: rent set-aside, school fees, food, car, bills, household help and data. They total ₦525,000, or 70% of pay. That is the figure to watch. A family on ₦750,000 can feel as stretched as a single person on ₦150,000 if the fixed share is the same.
| Group | Monthly (example) | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed household costs | ₦525,000 | 70% |
| Family support and health | ₦70,000 | 9% |
| Personal care, clothing and leisure | ₦55,000 | 7% |
| Emergency, sinking and long-term savings | ₦100,000 | 13% |
| Total | ₦750,000 | 100% |
The savings share is about 13%. It is a fair rate for a family with two children in private school, but it leaves little margin if one fixed line rises.
At ₦80,000 a month, fees are the third-largest line. A change of school, or a second child moving to a more expensive secondary school, can add tens of thousands a month. Price the next three years of fees now, not when the admission letter arrives. See saving for school fees term by term.
₦70,000 covers fuel, servicing and insurance for one car in this example. Add a driver and the line can double. Before replacing a car, total the full yearly cost, including any loan repayments, and compare it with ride-hailing and school buses for the same journeys.
Paying household staff fairly and on time is a fixed commitment, not an optional line. Agree pay, days off and any accommodation in writing, and budget for an increase each year.
With one main earner, the emergency fund is the household's main protection. Three months of fixed costs here is ₦1,575,000; six months is ₦3,150,000. At ₦60,000 a month (shared with sinking funds) three months would take more than two years, which is why some families on one income keep savings closer to 20% until the fund is complete.
Families planning school abroad, foreign travel or medical costs outside Nigeria sometimes hold part of their savings in the currency they will spend. That avoids having to buy a large amount of foreign currency at one moment. It also carries risk in both directions, because exchange rates move. If you do this, match the currency to a real future cost rather than as a bet on the rate. Our guide to saving in dollars in Nigeria sets out the risks.
Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, in force from January 2026, taxable income from ₦12,000,000 to ₦25,000,000 a year is taxed at 21%, according to PaySpace. A ₦750,000 take-home salary usually means a gross in the 18% or 21% band at the top. Rent relief is 20% of annual rent capped at ₦500,000: on ₦1,800,000 rent that is ₦360,000. Pension contributions, NHF, NHIS and life assurance premiums are also deductible, according to Mondaq's summary. This is information, not tax advice.
One Pryme account holds NGN, USD, GBP and EUR, so savings for a cost abroad can sit in that currency, and Swap shows the rate and fee before you approve any conversion (multicurrency, Swap). Rent, fees and emergency money can each have their own Box (Savings Boxes).
It can be, but in this example fixed costs (rent, school fees, food, car, bills and help) take about 70% of pay, so savings sits near 13%. Rent and school choices decide how comfortable it feels.
Ten to twenty per cent depending on fixed costs. With one income, aim for the higher end until the emergency fund covers three to six months.
Get each school's full-year schedule, add them, divide by twelve, and move that amount into a separate pot every payday.
Only for a real future cost in that currency, such as school or travel abroad. Exchange rates move both ways, so it is not a guaranteed gain.
