Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.

For the same amount at the same monthly rate, a 90-day loan costs more in naira. Here is how to compare tenors properly before you pick one.
If the lender charges the same rate per month, a 90-day loan costs more in total than a 30-day loan for the same amount, because you pay that monthly charge three times. The fair comparison is cost per ₦1,000 per month: a longer tenor can cost more in naira yet still be cheaper per month, so you need both numbers before choosing.
Loan apps and some banks let you slide a bar between 30, 60 and 90 days, and the repayment figure changes as you move it. Many borrowers pick the longest tenor because the instalments look gentler. That can be the right call, but only once you know what the extra time costs. This guide works through the arithmetic with labelled examples, so you can do the same with the numbers your app shows you.
Interest is a price for time. When a lender quotes a rate per month, keeping the money for three months means paying that price three times. The table below uses an example rate of 10% a month on ₦100,000, charged on the original amount for the whole term, which is how many short-term lenders work.
| Example: ₦100,000 at 10% a month | 30 days | 90 days, one repayment | 90 days, 3 instalments (flat) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interest | ₦10,000 | ₦30,000 | ₦30,000 |
| Total repaid | ₦110,000 | ₦130,000 | ₦130,000 |
| Each payment | ₦110,000 once | ₦130,000 once | ₦43,333.33 x 3 |
The 90-day loan costs ₦20,000 more. Notice the third column: splitting the ₦130,000 into three payments does not reduce the interest when it is worked out on the full ₦100,000 for the whole period. You are handing back part of the money after month one, yet still paying interest as if you had all of it. That is the flat-rate effect, covered in more detail in APR vs flat fee: what a loan really costs.
Some lenders charge interest only on what you still owe. Using the same example rate of 10% a month on a reducing balance, three equal instalments come to ₦40,211.48 each, a total of ₦120,634.44. Interest falls to ₦20,634.44 because each payment cuts the balance the next month's interest is worked on. The 90-day loan still costs more than the 30-day one in naira, but less than the flat version. Ask the lender, or read the loan agreement, to find out which method applies.
Lenders do not always charge the same monthly rate across tenors. A common pattern is a rate quoted for the whole tenor, for example 15% for 30 days and 30% for 90 days. In that case:
So the honest answer to which costs more depends on what you are measuring. Total naira tells you what leaves your account. Cost per ₦1,000 per month tells you which price for time is lower. The method is set out step by step in How to compare two loan offers: cost per ₦1,000 borrowed.
Pick the tenor that matches the date the money to repay will actually arrive, not the one with the smallest instalment. Borrowing for 90 days when your salary lands in 25 days means paying two extra months of interest on money you could have returned. Borrowing for 30 days when your income will not arrive until day 60 is worse: a missed repayment can bring late charges, penalty interest and a rollover, which usually cost more than choosing the longer tenor at the start. See what a loan app rollover costs for that arithmetic.
For digital and app-based consumer lenders, the FCCPC's Digital, Electronic, Online, or Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations, 2025 (made 21 July 2025) require interest rates, repayment terms and fees to be fully disclosed before any transaction is completed, and current rates and charges to be displayed on the lender's platforms. The regulations do not set a maximum rate, and banks licensed under BOFIA are outside their scope, according to a legal review published in October 2025. The planning notes for this series record that enforcement of the regulations was suspended and later resumed after a court ruling, so check the FCCPC's current position before relying on it. This is information, not legal advice.
Pryme Financial Ltd is a technology company, not a lender. Loans on Spaces are lent by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd and can only be spent with Spaces merchants. A limit may be offered based on how your account is run, and the agreement shows the amount, cost and repayment date in full before you accept. Apply the same tenor test above to that agreement before you accept.
Not in total if the monthly rate is the same: you pay the monthly charge three times. It can be cheaper per month if the lender charges a lower rate for the longer tenor, so compare cost per ₦1,000 per month.
Because interest is charged for time. At the same rate per month, three months of credit costs about three times one month, and more if the rate is worked on the original amount throughout.
If your income will not arrive in 30 days, a longer tenor chosen at the start is usually cheaper than missing a 30-day repayment and paying late charges or a rollover.
Check the loan agreement or ask the lender. If interest is the same in every instalment and worked on the original amount, it is flat; if it falls each month, it is on a reducing balance.
