Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What 'unlimited' means at Spectranet, Smile, ipNX, MTN and Starlink: the fair usage thresholds each provider states and what happens after.
In Nigeria, 'unlimited' usually means your data does not run out, but on many plans your speed is cut after a stated amount of use. As at October 2026, Spectranet's Unlimited Diamond, BigData and MegaData plans drop to 1 Mbps after 200GB, 400GB and 550GB, and Smile's Maxi plans drop to 1 Mbps after 60GB to 300GB; ipNX says its fibre home plans have no usage thresholds.
Almost every internet provider in Nigeria sells an 'unlimited' plan, and almost every customer who has used one heavily has a story about the speed falling off a cliff two weeks into the month. Both things can be true at once. The difference sits in a document most people never read: the fair usage policy, or FUP. This guide explains what an FUP is, sets out the thresholds that Spectranet, Smile, ipNX, MTN and Starlink state on their own pages as at October 2026, and shows how to work out whether a capped 'unlimited' plan suits you.
A fair usage policy is a rule that lets a provider manage heavy users on a shared network. Mobile and wireless networks share capacity between everyone connected to the same mast or satellite beam, so a handful of people downloading terabytes can slow everyone else down. An FUP sets a usage level, often called the threshold, after which the provider does one of three things:
The word 'unlimited' in these plans refers to volume, not speed. Your data will not run out, but what you can do with it after the threshold may change a great deal. At 1 Mbps, web pages and WhatsApp work, standard-definition video is possible on one device, and a family streaming in HD or a remote worker on video calls will struggle.
| Provider and plan type | Stated threshold | After the threshold |
|---|---|---|
| Spectranet 4G LTE Unlimited Diamond (₦30,000 / 30 days) | 200GB | 1 Mbps |
| Spectranet Unlimited BigData (₦45,000) | 400GB | 1 Mbps |
| Spectranet Unlimited MegaData (₦60,000) | 550GB | 1 Mbps |
| Spectranet Home Fiber 'Spectra Elite' speed tiers | 'Fair usage applies'; no figure shown | Not stated |
| Smile MaxiLite (₦15,000) | 60GB | 1 Mbps |
| Smile Maxi Essential / Maxi Home / Maxi Office | 150GB / 220GB / 300GB | 1 Mbps |
| Smile Data Flux (₦61,500) | Described as 'TRUEUnlimited. NO Limit.' | Not stated |
| ipNX FOS residential fibre | 'No usage thresholds' | No throttling, per ipNX |
| MTN FlyX 5G broadband | Described as 'truly unlimited'; no threshold shown on the 5G page | Not stated |
Spectranet's unlimited plans page lists these thresholds plan by plan and adds that 'Fair-usage policy applies per plan' and that prices include VAT. Its fibre speed tiers, sold in Lagos and Abuja, say only that fair usage applies, so ask for the figure in writing before you sign up. Smile prints its thresholds inside each plan description, for example '60GB monthly with speed at up to 8Mbps (FUP @ 1mbps)'. ipNX's residential plans page says 'No data cap No throttling', and its home page describes all plans as 'Uncapped and Unthrottled. With no usage thresholds.'
Starlink works differently. TechCabal reported in February 2026 that Starlink's Business (Priority) plans in Nigeria come with 1TB or 2TB of priority data, after which the connection is deprioritised rather than cut. For residential plans, Starlink has paused new orders in congested parts of Lagos and Abuja, which tells you that capacity per area is limited. Starlink's own account pages state the current terms for your plan; read them before you rely on a residential dish for heavy use.
Work out your monthly use first. Your phone or router settings show data used over the last month, and most provider apps show it too. Then compare it with the threshold, remembering that use rises in months with new devices, school holidays or a lot of video work.
Example only. A household streams about 3 hours of HD video a day. Assume, for this example, that HD streaming uses 3GB an hour (check your streaming service's own figure); that is 9GB a day, or 270GB over 30 days, before phones, updates and work calls. Add 60GB for those and the total is about 330GB. On a 200GB-threshold plan, the household would pass the threshold around day 18 (200 ÷ 11GB a day ≈ 18) and spend the last 12 days at the reduced speed. A 400GB-threshold plan would cover the month. A fibre plan with no threshold removes the question, if fibre reaches the street.
If a provider will not give a threshold figure, treat the plan as having one you do not know. If what you receive differs from what was advertised, complain to the provider first; the NCC's complaint procedure lets you escalate if that does not resolve it. Our guide to complaining about an ISP to the NCC sets out the steps, and what home internet costs each month puts the plans side by side.
Once you have chosen, put the renewal date somewhere you will see it; bill reminders that work sets out simple systems.
Pryme's bills section covers airtime, data, electricity and cable TV, so phone data bundles can be bought from the account (airtime and data). Home broadband renewals are paid through each provider's own channels. A Personal Assistant can remind you before a renewal date so the plan does not lapse; nothing is paid without your approval (Personal Assistant).
Your data does not run out, but Spectranet's 4G LTE unlimited plans drop to 1 Mbps after a stated threshold: 200GB on Diamond, 400GB on BigData and 550GB on MegaData, as at October 2026 on Spectranet's unlimited plans page.
ipNX states that its FOS residential fibre plans have no usage thresholds and no throttling. Smile describes its Data Flux plan as 'TRUEUnlimited'. Check the provider's current terms before you buy, as these change.
It means that after you pass the plan's threshold, your speed is limited to 1 megabit per second until the plan renews. That is enough for browsing and messaging but slow for HD streaming or video calls on several devices.
TechCabal reported in February 2026 that Starlink's Business plans include 1TB or 2TB of priority data, then the connection is deprioritised. Residential terms are shown in your Starlink account; read them before you buy.
