What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What Sterling Bank publishes for Specta Basic and Specta Xtreme: annual rates, typical loan sizes, tenors and a worked cost example.
Sterling Bank states Specta pricing as an annual rate: about 40% a year for Specta Basic (it says rates may vary by community) and 40% to 44% a year for Specta Xtreme, according to its loans page as at Oct 2026. Specta Basic typically lends ₦50,000 to ₦5 million for up to 48 months; Specta Xtreme typically lends ₦50,000 to ₦2 million over 12 months.
Specta is the digital lending platform run by Sterling Bank. Many borrowers come to it because it does not insist that you bank with Sterling, but the product is really two products with different rules, different loan sizes and different repayment periods. This guide sets out what Sterling itself publishes about each, what it leaves out, and how to turn an annual rate into a naira figure you can plan around.
Sterling's loans page, read in October 2026, describes Specta Basic and Specta Xtreme. The figures below are quoted from that page. Sterling uses the word "typically" for the loan ranges, so treat them as the usual band rather than a hard floor and ceiling.
| Specta Basic | Specta Xtreme | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | Salaried customers with regular income paid into their accounts; also sub-distributors under selected Sterling key distributors | High-income earners, professionals and business owners with strong financial records, including the self-employed and salary earners who bank elsewhere |
| Typical loan size | ₦50,000 to ₦5 million | ₦50,000 to ₦2 million |
| Interest rate stated | 40% a year (rates may vary by community) | 40% to 44% a year, depending on customer category |
| Repayment period | Up to 48 months | 12 months |
| Account with Sterling | Salary domiciliation required | Not required; an account is opened during onboarding for disbursement |
| Other conditions | Your employer or "community" must be onboarded; your profile and limit are set up before you can see them | Described as fully digital with no collateral; bank statements are pulled through MyBankStatement |
Specta quotes an annual rate. That matters because many loan apps quote a monthly or even daily figure, and bank salary loans such as GTBank QuickCredit quote a monthly one. To compare like with like, divide an annual rate by 12 for a rough monthly equivalent: 40% a year is about 3.33% a month; 44% a year is about 3.67% a month.
Two things the Sterling page does not spell out in the text we read:
Our guide on APR versus flat fees explains why the method matters as much as the headline number.
This is an example only, using Specta Basic's published 40% a year and assuming no fees. Your own rate, fees and schedule are in your offer.
| Method | Monthly repayment | Total repaid | Total interest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reducing balance at 40% a year (3.33% a month) | ₦51,235.74 | ₦614,828.90 | ₦114,828.90 |
| Flat 40% on the original ₦500,000 for one year | ₦58,333.33 | ₦700,000.00 | ₦200,000.00 |
The gap between the two rows is ₦85,171.10 on the same headline rate. If the repayment schedule in your offer shows equal instalments of around ₦51,000 on ₦500,000 over a year, the bank is charging on the reducing balance; if it is nearer ₦58,000, it is flat or there are fees on top.
Specta Basic allows up to 48 months. Stretching repayments lowers each instalment but raises the total interest, because you hold the money for longer. Before you choose the longest option, check that the shorter one is affordable: a common household rule is to keep all loan repayments within about a third of take-home pay, though only you know your other commitments.
Sterling describes Specta as making credit decisions from your data rather than from paperwork. For Specta Basic, your employer or community must already be onboarded and your limit is set up before you log in. For Specta Xtreme, the bank pulls your statements through MyBankStatement, so the pattern of money into and out of your main account is what drives the figure you are offered. A credit bureau check also applies; our explainer on how credit bureaus work in Nigeria covers what lenders see.
Pryme's credit product works differently. Loans on Spaces are lent by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank and can only be spent with merchants in Spaces, such as pharmacies, schools or groceries in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. A limit may be offered based on how your account is run, and the full agreement is shown for you to accept before anything is drawn. See how Loans on Spaces work.
Sterling states Specta rates per year, not per month: 40% a year for Specta Basic and 40% to 44% a year for Specta Xtreme, as at Oct 2026. Divided by 12 that is roughly 3.33% to 3.67% a month. Your offer shows your exact rate.
Sterling says Specta Basic typically lends ₦50,000 to ₦5 million and Specta Xtreme ₦50,000 to ₦2 million. Your own limit depends on your income and records.
Up to 48 months on Specta Basic and 12 months on Specta Xtreme, according to Sterling's loans page as at Oct 2026.
Specta Basic requires your salary to be paid into Sterling. Specta Xtreme does not; an account is opened for you during onboarding to receive the loan.
