Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How bar soap is made from oils and caustic soda, the moulds and safety kit you need, NAFDAC questions to settle, and a labelled cost per bar.
Bar soap is made by reacting oils such as palm kernel, coconut or palm oil with a measured amount of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) dissolved in water, pouring it into moulds, cutting it and letting it cure. In our labelled example, a 10kg-oil batch makes 100 bars for about ₦37,000, or ₦370 a bar, and sells to shops at ₦600, leaving about ₦23,000 a batch before labour. Before selling to supermarkets, ask NAFDAC whether and how your soap must be registered.
Soap is the product of saponification: fats and oils react with an alkali and turn into soap and glycerine. For hard bars the alkali is caustic soda, sold as sodium hydroxide flakes or pellets. Small producers in Nigeria usually choose between three methods.
Most people starting a bar soap business for shops and markets use cold process, because it gives the lowest cost per bar and full control of the recipe.
Every oil needs a different amount of caustic soda, so never guess the quantity. Put your exact oil weights into a reputable soap lye calculator, weigh everything on a digital scale, and keep the recipe in writing. Too much caustic soda leaves a harsh bar that can burn skin; too little leaves a soft, greasy one. Test a small batch, let it cure, and use it yourself before selling.
Caustic soda is corrosive. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles and long sleeves, work in a ventilated space, always add caustic soda to water and never water to caustic soda, and keep vinegar and plenty of water nearby for spills on surfaces. Keep fresh bars away from customers until they have cured.
| Mould type | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden loaf or block mould, lined | Large batches cut into uniform bars | Needs a cutter or wire frame for even sizes |
| Silicone loaf moulds | Small batches, easy release | Small capacity per pour |
| Individual cavity moulds | Shaped or branded bars | Slower to fill and unmould |
| PVC pipe moulds | Round bars at low cost | Can be hard to push out |
Cut bars to a fixed weight so every bar you sell is the same size, and stack them on open racks with air around each bar. Curing times are commonly several weeks for cold-process soap; follow what your own tests show and do not wrap bars that still feel soft.
Example only. The quantities and prices below are illustrative, not market prices or a recipe. Your lye calculator decides the real caustic soda weight for your oils.
| Item | Example cost |
|---|---|
| 10kg oil blend at ₦2,500/kg | ₦25,000 |
| Caustic soda, 1.5kg at ₦2,000/kg | ₦3,000 |
| Fragrance and colour | ₦4,000 |
| Wrappers and labels, 100 at ₦50 | ₦5,000 |
| Total for 100 bars | ₦37,000 |
| Cost per bar | ₦370 |
If shops pay ₦600 a bar, the batch brings in ₦60,000 and leaves ₦23,000 before your labour, rent and power. Selling direct at ₦900 a bar raises the batch margin to ₦53,000, but you then spend time and money on selling. Price your bar against what is already on the shelf where you plan to sell, and decide whether you are competing on price or on a premium recipe.
NAFDAC handles product registration applications through its NAPAMS online portal, as published guides to food registration describe. We could not confirm from an official page which registration category or fee applies to bar soap, so ask NAFDAC directly whether your soap needs registering, under which directorate, and what it will cost, before you print wrappers. Supermarkets and distributors commonly ask suppliers for a NAFDAC number, so settle this before approaching them.
Registering a business name with the Corporate Affairs Commission is a separate step; the CAC fee schedule published in May 2025 put business name registration at ₦20,000. If you plan liquid products too, see liquid soap production and detergent powder production. Income from soap sales may be taxable; our guide to tax on side hustle income explains the basics.
Shops buying cartons of soap will want an invoice and a receipt for each delivery. A Pryme Business Account includes invoicing and bank-transfer checkout free of charge, so each carton sold is matched to a payment.
Oils or fats (often palm kernel, coconut and palm oil), caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), water, and optional fragrance, colour and additives. Use a lye calculator to set the caustic soda weight for your oil blend.
A small cold-process start needs a digital scale, safety gear, buckets, moulds and racks, plus your first batch of oils and caustic soda. In our example, the materials for 100 bars cost ₦37,000; equipment depends on what you already own.
Ask NAFDAC directly; we could not confirm the current category or fee for bar soap from an official page. Supermarkets and distributors commonly ask for a NAFDAC number, so settle registration before you approach them.
Cold-process soap is commonly left to cure for several weeks. Follow your own tests: bars should be firm and mild before you wrap and sell them.
