Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Five capital tiers from ₦0 to ₦500,000: which side hustles each can start, published POS and CAC costs, and the risk of each.
Side hustles in Nigeria fall into clear capital tiers: ₦0 to ₦10,000 covers lessons, freelancing and VTU; up to ₦50,000 adds reselling and beauty tools; up to ₦150,000 covers POS (Kuda Business lists a ₦95,000 terminal or lease options) and baking; and ₦300,000 to ₦500,000 can fund a kiosk or bulk trading. Prefer capital you can recover.
Capital is the money you must put in before the first sale: tools, stock, registration, deposits and float. This guide groups common Nigerian side hustles into five tiers from ₦0 to ₦500,000. Where a cost comes from a published price, the source and date are given; everything else is a labelled example, because equipment and stock prices vary by city and change month to month. Before spending, price your own list from two or three sellers.
One principle runs through every tier: capital you can recover (float, resaleable equipment, stock that keeps) is less risky than capital you cannot (advertising, decoration, perishable stock). Two hustles with the same start-up figure can carry very different risk.
| Hustle | What the money buys (example) | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| Home lessons | Nothing beyond what you have; perhaps past questions | n/a |
| Online freelancing (writing, admin, virtual assistance) | Data; a phone or laptop you already own | n/a |
| VTU airtime and data | A small wallet float | Yes: float cycles |
| Affiliate selling | Data; some programmes charge a fee (Selar's affiliate network: ₦3,000 a year, per its page modified Aug 2025) | No |
| Errands and personal shopping | Transport for the first jobs | n/a |
These are skill-or-time hustles. The constraint is finding customers, not money. VTU earns a few per cent; VTpass's July 2025 table shows 3% on MTN airtime for terminal agents.
| Hustle | What the money buys (example) | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| Reselling through WhatsApp | First small batch of stock | Mostly, if it sells |
| Hair braiding, barbing or nails at home | Clippers, combs, products | Tools resaleable |
| Small chops or snacks to order | Ingredients, packaging, a few trays | No: perishable |
| Registering a business name | CAC registration ₦20,000 plus ₦1,000 name reservation (Gazette of 29 May 2025) | No |
This is where stock first appears. Take payment before buying wherever you can. Our list of side hustles under ₦50,000 goes deeper on this tier.
| Hustle | What the money buys (example) | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| POS agency | A terminal and cash float | Partly |
| Baking | Oven, mixer, tins, first ingredients | Equipment resaleable |
| Event photography | A used camera or a high-end phone and lights | Resaleable |
| Larger resale stock | Bales, gadgets accessories, foodstuff | Mostly |
POS is the hustle in this tier with published prices. Kuda Business's help page (2026) lists an upfront lease at ₦20,000 one-time plus ₦1,750 insurance, with a requirement to process ₦100,000 a week, a monthly lease at ₦2,000 a month for 12 months plus insurance, or outright purchase at ₦95,000. Nairametrics reported in September 2025 that entry-level terminals had risen to about ₦21,500 and Android terminals to ₦62,000–₦85,000. The float, the cash you hand customers, is usually the larger part of the money; agents in busy areas commonly hold far more float than the terminal costs. Check current prices with the provider.
| Hustle | What the money buys (example) | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| Laptop-based freelancing (design, video editing) | A capable laptop and software | Resaleable |
| Mini food business | Gas cooker, freezer, pots, first stock | Partly |
| Poultry trial (small batch) | Day-old birds, feed, drinkers, housing | No if birds die |
| Printing and binding | Printer, binding machine, paper | Resaleable |
Equipment-heavy hustles start here. Power is a hidden cost: freezers, printers and laptops need electricity or fuel.
| Hustle | What the money buys (example) | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| A kiosk or small shop | Rent advance, shelving, first stock | Rent no; stock mostly |
| Bulk foodstuff trading | Bags of rice, beans, garri bought at market | Mostly, if stored well |
| Rental equipment (canopies, chairs, generators) | The equipment | Resaleable |
| Combined POS, VTU and bill-payment stand | Terminal, float, stand, signage | Partly |
At this level, the single biggest risk is putting all the money in at once. Spend in stages and keep at least a fifth back for problems.
Example only. Two people each have ₦100,000.
Neither choice is wrong. Ada's hustle may earn more per order. But if you cannot afford to lose the money, choose recoverable capital first.
Saving the capital in a separate place makes the plan real; Savings Boxes hold naira apart from spending money, and our guide to saving start-up capital shows how to build it. Once trading, a business account adds invoicing and checkout.
Reselling with paid-in-advance orders, baking with basic equipment, a POS agency with a leased terminal, or event photography with a used camera all fit around ₦100,000. Price your own list first.
Skill or time hustles: home lessons, online freelancing, errands, and VTU with a very small float. The constraint is finding customers.
Kuda Business lists outright purchase at ₦95,000 or lease options, and Nairametrics reported entry-level terminals around ₦21,500 in September 2025. Prices change, so check with the provider.
Starting small with recoverable capital lets you test demand without risking much. Add capital in stages as sales prove the idea.
