Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Indicative freight for 20ft and 40ft containers from the US to Nigeria, the ports used, a labelled door-to-door cost and how Lagos clearing works.
The Nigerian Shippers' Council's indicative freight on the North America route, which covers ports such as New York/Philadelphia, Houston and Miami, was $3,583 for a 20ft container and $5,105 for a 40ft in April to June 2026. With packing, insurance, Lagos port charges, clearing, duty and delivery, our labelled example comes to about $8,600 for a 20ft and $12,500 for a 40ft. Sea clearance in Nigeria typically takes about 20 working days to four weeks once documents are in.
Families moving home from the United States face a longer sea route than those coming from Europe, and that shows up in the price. US moves also tend to involve bigger homes, larger furniture and, often, a car. This guide sets out the official indicative freight for the North America route, the ports it covers, a labelled cost for a 20ft and a 40ft container from the US, and how clearing works once the box lands in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Shippers' Council (NSC) groups the US and Canada into one North America/Canada route. Its April to June 2026 table lists Houston, Miami, Boston, New York/Philadelphia, Vancouver, Montreal/Quebec and Halifax among the ports covered. In practice, movers from the East Coast and Midwest usually load at a port such as New York, while families in Texas and the South often go through Houston. The port you leave from affects the inland trucking cost on the US side more than the ocean freight.
On the Nigerian side, Lagos ports (Apapa and Tin Can Island) handle most household containers. If you are settling in Abuja, ask whether your mover will deliver from Lagos by road or through another port, and get that leg quoted separately.
The NSC publishes indicative import rates for laden containers each quarter, in US dollars, as a negotiable guide. For North America/Canada:
| Quarter | 20ft | 40ft |
|---|---|---|
| Apr to Jun 2026 | $3,583 | $5,105 |
| Jan to Mar 2026 | $3,508 | $4,965 |
| Oct to Dec 2025 | $3,670 | $5,055 |
| Jul to Sep 2025 | $3,343 | $4,767 |
Two things stand out. First, North America costs more than the Europe route: in April to June 2026 a 20ft from North America was $1,128 dearer and a 40ft $1,864 dearer than the NSC's Europe/Middle East figures. Second, the step from a 20ft to a 40ft from North America added $1,522 in that quarter ($5,105 − $3,583). The NSC does not say what the rates include, so read them as the sea leg only and use them to test the freight line in your quotes.
Example: a family packing a three-bedroom house near Houston and shipping to Lekki, Lagos. The freight is the NSC indicative figure; every other line is an example.
| Cost line | 20ft (example) | 40ft (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Ocean freight, North America route, Apr to Jun 2026 (NSC) | $3,583 | $5,105 |
| US packing, loading and trucking to port (example) | $1,200 | $1,800 |
| Marine insurance at 1.5% of declared value (example: $40,000 / $60,000) | $600 | $900 |
| Terminal and shipping-line charges in Lagos (example) | $1,300 | $1,900 |
| Clearing agent (example) | $550 | $650 |
| Duty on dutiable items (example) | $900 | $1,400 |
| Delivery from port to Lekki (example) | $450 | $700 |
| Example total | $8,583 | $12,455 |
Check, 20ft: $3,583 + $1,200 + $600 + $1,300 + $550 + $900 + $450 = $8,583. Check, 40ft: $5,105 + $1,800 + $900 + $1,900 + $650 + $1,400 + $700 = $12,455. Naira costs depend on the rate on the day you pay.
If you are shipping a vehicle, many movers will quote it inside a 40ft or as roll-on roll-off. Duty on cars is calculated very differently from household goods; our tokunbo car cost example sets out the charges.
The International Association of Movers' Nigeria country guide (modified 6 September 2026) says sea shipments need a copy of the consignee's passport (an electronic passport for returning citizens), a residence permit for non-Nigerians, a letter of introduction, a signed packing list, a Tax Identification Number and a consignment instruction, plus a fumigation certificate for wooden crates. Your US mover will handle the US export side, so ask them what they need from you and when.
When the ship arrives, your licensed clearing agent files the declaration, the Nigeria Customs Service examines the container, any duty is assessed and paid, and the shipping line and terminal release it once their charges are settled. Used household goods are assessed differently from new items; read what counts as duty-free personal effects before you pack anything still in its box. The IAM guide gives about 20 working days to four weeks for sea clearance after all documents are received. Delays create demurrage and storage charges, so have your documents ready before the ship docks.
A Pryme account holds USD and NGN with local account details for each, so you can keep dollars for US-side payments and naira for clearing and delivery, converting with Swap only when you decide. See multicurrency accounts and our guide to shipping from the UK for comparison.
The Nigerian Shippers' Council's indicative freight for a 40ft on the North America route was $5,105 for April to June 2026. Our labelled door-to-door example from Houston to Lekki comes to about $12,500.
It depends on where you live. The NSC's North America route covers ports including New York/Philadelphia, Houston, Miami and Boston; the nearest port usually cuts inland trucking.
The International Association of Movers says about 20 working days to four weeks for sea shipments after all documents are received.
On the NSC's April to June 2026 figures, freight from North America was higher: $3,583 against $2,455 for a 20ft container.
