Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A labelled first-year budget for a family moving back to Lagos or Abuja: rent by area, car, school fees, power and the cash you need upfront.
A family of four settling back in Lagos can expect a first-year bill in the region of ₦35 million to ₦40 million in our labelled example, with rent, school fees and a car the biggest lines. Median asking rent for a three-bedroom ran from about ₦4.2 million in Gbagada to ₦6.5 million in Gwarinpa, Abuja, in Q3 2026, and around half the first-year total falls due in the first two months.
Coming home after years abroad, most families can estimate flights and shipping. The harder part is the first twelve months on the ground, when rent is due a year in advance, a car has to be bought outright and power costs run on two tracks: the grid and a generator. This guide builds a labelled first-year budget for a family settling in Lagos or Abuja, using the most recent published figures we could find for rent, petrol and electricity, and clear examples for everything else.
In Lagos and Abuja, landlords commonly ask for a year's rent upfront, and sometimes more, with agency and legal fees on top. What you pay depends almost entirely on the area.
A Lagos Realty report on Lagos Island, reported by Nairametrics on 9 August 2026, put average annual rent for a two-bedroom flat at ₦17.25 million in Ikoyi, ₦15 million in Victoria Island, ₦10 million in Lekki Phase 1 and ₦8.5 million in Ikate. On the mainland, Ownkey's Q3 2026 rent index (median asking rents from its own listings, quarter to 30 June 2026) gives these figures:
| Lagos mainland area | 2-bedroom | 3-bedroom |
|---|---|---|
| Yaba | ₦3.2m | ₦4.6m |
| Surulere | ₦3.25m | ₦4.5m |
| Gbagada | ₦3.0m | ₦4.2m |
| Magodo | ₦4.5m | ₦6.5m |
| Ikeja GRA | ₦6.0m | ₦9.0m |
The same Ownkey index shows a wide spread in the capital: a two-bedroom at ₦28 million in Maitama and ₦15 million in Wuse 2, against ₦4.5 million in Gwarinpa, ₦3 million in Lokogoma, ₦2.2 million in Lugbe and ₦1.8 million in Kubwa. Three-bedroom medians run from ₦2.6 million in Kubwa to ₦42 million in Maitama. Asking rents are what landlords list, not always what tenants end up paying, so treat them as a ceiling for negotiation. Our guide on how much rent you can afford helps you test the figure against income.
Grid electricity is billed by service band. Under NERC's July 2025 supplementary orders for Ikeja Electric and AEDC, Band A customers (who are meant to get at least 20 hours of supply a day) pay ₦209.50 per kWh, while Bands B to E pay lower rates that were frozen at December 2022 levels. Check your feeder's band and the current tariff with your DisCo before you sign a lease, because Band A homes cost more to run but usually need less generator time.
Petrol is the other running cost. The NBS petrol price watch for May 2026, as reported by Legit.ng, put the average pump price at ₦1,596.25 a litre nationally, up 55.31% on a year earlier. Prices differ by state and by the week, so check the latest NBS release. For buying a car, our tokunbo import cost example compares shipping one in with buying locally.
School fees are the second-largest line for most returning families. Third-party directories in 2026 put established British-curriculum day schools in Lagos at roughly ₦2 million to ₦9.5 million a year depending on the year group; see international school fee ranges for the detail and the one-off charges. For health, a nairaCompare cost report (22 June 2026) gave market ranges for a family of four of ₦300,000 to ₦700,000 a year on a standard HMO plan; our guide to health insurance when you move back explains the options.
Example: a couple with two primary-age children renting a three-bedroom flat in Gbagada, Lagos, on a Band A feeder, with one car bought locally.
| Item | First-year amount |
|---|---|
| Rent, 3-bedroom in Gbagada (Q3 2026 median asking rent) | ₦4,200,000 |
| Agency and legal fees (example: 10% + 10% of rent) | ₦840,000 |
| Caution deposit (example: 10% of rent) | ₦420,000 |
| Used car bought locally (example) | ₦12,000,000 |
| Petrol: 100 litres a month at ₦1,596.25 (NBS May 2026 average) | ₦1,915,500 |
| Grid power: 300 kWh a month at Band A ₦209.50/kWh | ₦754,200 |
| Generator fuel and servicing (example) | ₦1,200,000 |
| School fees, two children, mid-tier day school (example) | ₦6,000,000 |
| Family HMO plan, standard tier (example) | ₦500,000 |
| Food and household: ₦450,000 a month (example) | ₦5,400,000 |
| Internet, phones and TV (example) | ₦720,000 |
| Furniture and appliances, one-off (example) | ₦3,000,000 |
| Example first-year total | ₦36,949,700 |
Check: ₦4,200,000 + ₦840,000 + ₦420,000 + ₦12,000,000 + ₦1,915,500 + ₦754,200 + ₦1,200,000 + ₦6,000,000 + ₦500,000 + ₦5,400,000 + ₦720,000 + ₦3,000,000 = ₦36,949,700.
The same family in a three-bedroom in Gwarinpa, Abuja, at the ₦6.5 million median, would pay ₦2.3 million more in rent, taking the example to ₦39,249,700 before the agency fees are recalculated. In both cities roughly ₦20 million of the total falls due in the first month or two: rent, fees, deposit, car, furniture and the first school term. That cash-flow peak is what catches many returnees out.
If you are still earning or holding savings abroad, a Pryme account holds NGN, USD, GBP and EUR, and money stays in the currency it arrived in until you choose to convert with Swap. Electricity tokens, airtime, data and cable TV can be paid in the app (electricity). Savings can be set aside for rent renewal in a naira Savings Box.
It depends on city, area and lifestyle. Our labelled example for a family of four in Gbagada, Lagos, comes to about ₦37 million in the first year, with around ₦20 million needed in the first two months.
Ownkey's Q3 2026 index puts median asking rent for a two-bedroom at about ₦3 million in Gbagada and ₦3.2 million in Yaba, while a Lagos Realty report put Lekki Phase 1 at ₦10 million and Ikoyi at ₦17.25 million.
Not by default. Kubwa and Lugbe are among the cheaper rental areas, but Maitama and Wuse 2 rents are higher than most of Lagos. Area choice matters more than city.
Under NERC's July 2025 supplementary orders, Band A customers of Ikeja Electric and AEDC pay ₦209.50 per kWh. Check your DisCo for the current figure.
