Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Sending Canadian dollars to Nigeria: what transfers cost, how to check a provider with FINTRAC and the Bank of Canada, and how payouts arrive.
Part of the guideSending money to Nigeria: the real cost, explained
From Canada, the usual low-cost route to Nigeria is a digital money transfer provider registered with FINTRAC, funded from your bank account and paying naira into a Nigerian bank account. Costs from Canada are higher on average than from the UK or US: the World Bank put the average for sending from Canada to all countries at 5.98% in Q1 2025, so comparing the naira that arrives matters. Rates change daily.
Many Nigerians in Canada send money home every month, for parents, school fees and building projects. The route from Canada to Nigeria is smaller than the UK and US routes, and that shows in price and choice. This article covers what is specific to Canada. For the general method and Nigerian rules, read our guide to what sending money to Nigeria really costs.
The World Bank does not publish a Canada to Nigeria corridor in the data we could access. The closest benchmark is its average for sending from Canada to every country it measures: 5.98% of a transfer worth $200 in Q1 2025. That is roughly double the US to Nigeria average of 2.72% and three times the UK to Nigeria average of 1.96% in Q3 2025. Treat 5.98% as a ceiling to beat, not a Nigeria figure; competitive providers on the Nigeria route can price well below it.
The total cost has two parts. One is the fee. The other is the exchange-rate margin, the gap between the rate you get and the mid-market rate. The Canadian dollar is not traded directly against the naira in any volume, so providers often convert through the US dollar. Each step is a chance for a margin, which is one reason quotes from Canada vary more.
| Route (cost used) | Total cost | Value that arrives |
|---|---|---|
| Specialist provider priced at the US to Nigeria average (2.72%) | C$16.32 | C$583.68 |
| Canada average, all destinations (5.98%) | C$35.88 | C$564.12 |
| Bank, global average (14.55%) | C$87.30 | C$512.70 |
The difference between a well-priced provider and an average bank on one C$600 transfer is about C$71. Sent monthly, that is more than C$850 a year. The first row is an illustration of a competitive price, not a measured Canada figure.
Two public registers help you check a non-bank provider in Canada.
Search the provider's legal name, not just the app's brand name, in both registers. A firm that is on neither and offers rates far better than everyone else is a warning sign. Unlicensed currency dealers who ask you to pay a private person in Canada in return for naira in Nigeria leave you with no protection if they disappear.
Interac e-Transfer is a domestic Canadian service and does not send money to Nigerian bank accounts directly, though some providers accept it as a way to fund a transfer.
Nigeria's payout rules are the same wherever you send from. Money sent through licensed transfer operators is paid in naira at a rate linked to the official market, and from 1 May 2026 it must pass through naira settlement accounts at authorised dealer banks. Payouts above the equivalent of $200 must go into a bank account. Our article on CBN rules on remittance payouts explains why, and what it means if your family wants to hold dollars instead.
A large share of money sent from Canada ends up paying a specific bill: tuition, rent, a hospital invoice. Paying the institution directly, against an invoice and with a reference, means the money does what it was meant to and you keep a receipt. Our articles on paying school fees in Nigeria from abroad and paying family bills from abroad cover how.
If you send often, a Nigerian account in your own name gives you more control over when you convert and who you pay. Nigerians abroad can now get a Bank Verification Number online through the Non-Resident BVN, without travelling home; the application fee was $50 when it launched in 2025. Our NRBVN explainer sets out the documents and steps.
Pryme's multicurrency account holds US dollars, pounds, euros and naira, with local account details for each; outside Nigeria, its activities are carried out through regulated partners. If you are paid in Canadian dollars, use a FINTRAC-registered provider that converts CAD to naira directly; the checklist above explains what to look for.
If you hold US dollars in a Pryme account, for example from a US client or employer, Swap converts them to naira when it suits you, with the rate shown before you confirm and any fee on its own line. A Pryme account can be opened from Canada, as from any country. Either way, the comparison method in our main guide to sending money to Nigeria applies.
Usually a FINTRAC-registered digital provider, funded from your bank account, paying naira into a Nigerian bank account. Compare the naira received on the same day across several providers, as a low fee can hide a wide exchange-rate margin.
Search its legal name on FINTRAC's Money Services Business Registry and, where it applies, the Bank of Canada's payment service provider registry. Registration is not an endorsement, but a firm on neither register should be avoided.
No. Interac e-Transfer works between Canadian accounts. Some transfer providers accept it as a way to pay them, and they then pay out in Nigeria.
The route is smaller and less competitive, and the Canadian dollar is often converted through the US dollar before it becomes naira. The World Bank's Canada average for all destinations was 5.98% in Q1 2025, against 1.96% for UK to Nigeria in Q3 2025.
Through digital providers to a Nigerian bank account, often the same day once your identity has been verified. Bank wires can take one to three working days.
