Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

How paying yourself salary or dividends affects RRSP room, CPP, personal tax and mortgage applications, with 2026 CPP figures and a worked example.
Salary from your Canadian company is employment income: it creates RRSP room (18% of the previous year's earned income, up to the annual limit) and CPP contributions, 5.95% each from you and the company on earnings between $3,500 and $74,600 in 2026. Dividends do not appear in the CRA's description of earned income and carry no CPP, so they build no RRSP room or CPP pension. Many mortgage lenders find a T4 salary easier to verify.
Owner-managers of Canadian corporations decide each year how to take money out: as salary (with a T4), as dividends (with a T5), or a mix. For someone who arrived recently, the choice touches things longer-settled owners take for granted: building RRSP room from zero, starting a CPP record, and showing a mortgage lender a believable income after only a year or two in Canada.
| Salary | Dividends | |
|---|---|---|
| Company deducts it | yes, a business expense | no, paid from after-tax profit |
| Payroll account and source deductions | yes | no |
| CPP | yes, employee and employer share | none |
| RRSP room | counts as employment earnings | not among the CRA's listed earned income |
| Slip | T4, due by the last day of February | T5 |
| How lenders see it | often easier to verify | many lenders ask for more years of returns |
The CRA's 2026 figures (page dated 31 October 2025) are: maximum pensionable earnings $74,600, basic exemption $3,500, contribution rate 5.95% for the employee and the same for the employer, and a maximum of $4,230.45 each. As the owner, you effectively pay both halves, since both come from your company. A second additional contribution (CPP2) applies to earnings above $74,600; its rate is on the CRA's CPP2 page.
What you buy is a CPP record. A newcomer who takes only dividends for years builds no CPP entitlement from that income. For most newcomers, Canadian contributions are the only route to a CPP pension, so years without them leave gaps.
The CRA calculates RRSP deduction room from the lesser of 18% of your previous year's earned income and the annual limit, which was $32,490 for 2025, plus unused room. Its definition of earned income adds employment and self-employment earnings and certain other income. Dividends are not among the items it names, so an owner paid only in dividends gains no new room. Your notice of assessment shows your current limit.
Example: in 2026 Ifeoma pays herself a $60,000 salary. CPP is ($60,000 - $3,500) x 5.95% = $3,361.75 from her and $3,361.75 from the company, $6,723.50 in total. The salary creates RRSP room of $10,800 (18% of $60,000) for 2027, below the annual limit. If instead she took $60,000 as dividends, there would be no CPP, no new RRSP room, and the company would not deduct the payment, but dividends are taxed differently in her hands. Your accountant can run both on your actual figures, including provincial tax.
Salary is deductible to the company and taxed in full as employment income. Dividends come from profit already taxed in the company and are taxed in your hands through the dividend gross-up and tax credit system. The combined result depends on the company's tax rate (including whether it claims the small business deduction; see the small business deduction) and your province. Do not decide from a rule of thumb.
Mortgage lenders set their own rules. Many treat a steady T4 salary from your own company more simply than dividends, and ask self-employed or dividend-paid owners for more years of personal returns and company statements. A newcomer with one year of history may find salary the easier route. Salary also gives you pay slips and a T4, which are common proof of income for leases and for family sponsorship applications.
Many owners in their first years take a modest salary to cover living costs, start a CPP record and build RRSP room, then pay dividends from any extra profit. The salary gives lenders and landlords a regular, documented income; the dividend gives flexibility in a good year. Whether that mix suits you depends on your other income, your family's benefits, which are based on family net income, and your plans for buying a home. Review it each autumn, before the company's year-end, rather than in April when the year is already closed. If you pay a spouse a salary too, it must be for real work at a reasonable rate, and the same CPP and payroll rules apply to that salary.
If you send part of your pay to family in Nigeria, a Pryme Personal Account holds naira and dollars, and Send shows the rate and the fee before you approve. The Personal Assistant can remind you of RRSP and tax dates.
The CRA's earned income definition is built from employment and self-employment earnings and certain other income; dividends are not listed, so dividends alone generally build no RRSP room.
5.95% each from you and the company on earnings between $3,500 and $74,600, up to $4,230.45 each.
Lenders set their own rules; many find a steady T4 salary easier to verify than dividends, especially for newcomers.
No. CPP applies to pensionable earnings such as salary, not dividends.
