What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Eva waits for your rate and asks before she moves anything.
No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Tuition is zero-rated for VAT, but a profit-making school pays income tax like any business. The exemption test, PAYE for teachers and filing dates.
A private school run for profit in Nigeria pays tax on its profit: company income tax if it is a company (0% if small, 30% plus 4% development levy otherwise) or personal income tax if owned by an individual. Tuition from nursery to tertiary is zero-rated for VAT under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, the income-tax exemption for educational bodies applies only to activities of a public character whose profits do not come from a trade or business, and the school must run PAYE on teachers' pay.
Not automatically. Section 163(1)(a)(iii) of the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 (NTA) exempts the profits of persons "engaged in educational, religious or charitable activities of a public character", but only "where the profits or gains are not derived from a trade or business carried on by such person".
Most private schools in Nigeria are owned by proprietors or companies and charge fees to make a profit. That looks like a trade or business, so the exemption is unlikely to apply. A school run by a registered trust, mission or charity that reinvests surpluses in education and serves the public is in a different position, but it should be ready to show its legal form, its objects and where its money goes. When in doubt, ask the tax authority for a written view.
| Who owns the school | Tax on profit | Paid to |
|---|---|---|
| Proprietor in own name or business name | Personal income tax, 0% to 25% | State IRS where proprietor lives |
| Limited company, small | 0% company income tax, no development levy | NRS (file return regardless) |
| Limited company, not small | 30% company income tax plus 4% development levy | NRS |
| Trust or charity meeting s.163 test | Exempt on non-trading income | File what the authority requires |
PwC (reviewed May 2026) defines a small company as one with annual gross turnover of ₦100 million or less and total fixed assets not exceeding ₦250 million. Many schools own land and buildings, so the fixed-asset test can push a school with modest fees out of the small category. The 4% development levy replaced the former tertiary education tax and other levies, and does not apply to small companies.
Every company must file an annual self-assessment return whether or not it owes tax, within six months of its accounting year end (Nigeria Tax Administration Act 2025, or NTAA, s.11).
A Mondaq review of the NTA's VAT provisions (May 2026) lists tuition from nursery to tertiary and educational books among zero-rated supplies under section 187, and plays and performances by educational institutions among exempt supplies under section 186. That means:
A school whose turnover is ₦100 million or less with fixed assets of ₦250 million or less is a small business under the NTAA and exempt from VAT registration and returns. A larger school that is VAT-registered can generally recover input VAT on costs linked to its zero-rated tuition, because zero-rated supplies are taxable at 0%.
Teachers, administrators, drivers and cleaners are employees, and the school deducts PAYE from their pay at the NTA bands: 0% on the first ₦800,000 a year, then 15%, 18%, 21%, 23% and 25% on higher slices (DLA Piper Africa, August 2026). Staff earning the national minimum wage or less are exempt. Deductions such as rent relief, pension and NHF contributions reduce taxable pay.
The school remits PAYE monthly to the state IRS where each employee lives and files the annual return of emoluments by 31 January (NTAA s.14). The monthly due date has been reported as the 10th by PwC and the 21st under the NTAA penalty provision; pay by the 10th while you confirm with your state IRS.
Teachers paid through the long vacation are still on PAYE for those months. Planning the cash for that period is covered in paying teachers in the long vacation.
Keep them at least six years after the year of assessment (NTAA s.31).
Schools are a sector in Spaces, where parents may use Loans on Spaces lent by Solid Allianze MFB to pay fees to member schools. Payroll on a Pryme Business Account handles staff pay, and receipts can be issued as verifiable documents through VerifyDoc.ai. See setting private school fees. Yes, on profit, if run as a business: company income tax for companies (0% if small) or personal income tax for proprietors. The NTA s.163 exemption covers only public-character educational activities not carried on as a trade or business.
No. Tuition from nursery to tertiary is zero-rated under section 187 of the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, per the Mondaq review.
Yes. The school deducts PAYE at the NTA 2025 bands, remits monthly to the state IRS and files the annual employer return by 31 January.
Only if turnover is ₦100 million or less and fixed assets do not exceed ₦250 million. School buildings count towards fixed assets.

Copy this pro-forma invoice for Nigerian buyers, and see why it is a quote-like document, not a tax invoice, and when the final invoice must follow.
A pro-forma is a priced offer sent before supply; an invoice is the demand once you supply. When to use each, including for import Form M and approvals.
