Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, 183 days in Nigeria within any 12 months can make you tax resident there. How the count works for Canadians.
Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, an individual is resident in Nigeria if they spend 183 days or more there in any 12-month period, with temporary absences counted, or if any other residence test is met, such as domicile, a permanent home available for domestic use or substantial economic or immediate family ties (PwC summary, reviewed May 2026). A Canadian resident who stays home for six months or more can therefore become resident in both countries, and the Canada-Nigeria tax agreement's tie-breaker then decides which country taxes as the residence state.
The Nigeria Tax Act 2025 (NTA), in force from 1 January 2026, replaced the old personal income tax residence rules. PwC's Nigeria summary (reviewed 29 May 2026) lists the tests. You are resident in Nigeria for a year if any one of these applies:
You are non-resident only if none of them applies. That is the point most people miss. The day count is one test among six, not the only one. A Nigerian in Calgary who never stays longer than three weeks but keeps a furnished family house in Enugu, or whose spouse and children live in Lagos, may already meet another test. AELEX's analysis on Mondaq (15 January 2026) notes that "substantial economic ties" is not defined in the Act, so its reach is uncertain until the tax authorities or the courts say more.
The test looks at any 12-month period, not the calendar year. A visit that runs from December into June can cross the line even though it is split across two years. PwC's summary says temporary absences count towards the period, so a two-week trip to Accra in the middle of a long stay does not reset the count.
Example only. Ngozi lives in Mississauga and flies to Lagos on 1 December 2026 to care for her mother. She stays until 15 June 2027, apart from a ten-day trip to Ghana in March.
| Month | Days in the period |
|---|---|
| December 2026 | 31 |
| January 2027 | 31 |
| February 2027 | 28 |
| March 2027 (incl. Ghana trip) | 31 |
| April 2027 | 30 |
| May 2027 | 31 |
| June 2027 (to the 15th) | 15 |
| Total | 197 |
Check: 31 + 31 + 28 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 15 = 197. Because the Ghana trip is a temporary absence, it is counted, and 197 is above 183 within one 12-month period. The pages we read do not say how arrival and departure days are counted; keep your boarding passes and passport stamps so the dates can be shown either way.
A Nigerian resident is taxed on income wherever it arises. PwC's residence page says a resident's income is treated as Nigerian income whether or not it is brought into the country. A non-resident is taxed only on income from Nigeria. NiDCOM's NGEX diaspora guide (January 2026) puts it plainly: under 183 days you are non-resident, and income for services physically rendered outside Nigeria is not taxable in Nigeria unless you are a tax resident.
So the practical risk of a long visit is that your Canadian salary, Canadian investment income or remote-work pay could fall within Nigerian tax for that year. PwC's summary also notes that Nigerian employment income can be caught where an employee is resident and works partly in Nigeria, and the pay for that Nigerian work is not duly taxed in the country of residence.
You do not stop being a Canadian resident because you spend six months in Lagos, especially if your home, spouse and job stay in Canada. Being resident in both countries at once is what the Canada-Nigeria tax agreement, signed in Abuja on 4 August 1992, is for. Article 4 sets the order of tie-breaker tests: permanent home, then centre of vital interests, then habitual abode, then nationality.
For most readers who keep a home in Canada and only visit Nigeria, the permanent home test or the vital interests test points to Canada, and Canada remains the residence country under the agreement. Nigeria can still tax income that arises in Nigeria, and Canada then gives credit for Nigerian tax on Nigerian-source income under Article 23. The detail matters for anyone with homes in both countries; see tax resident in both Canada and Nigeria: the tie-breaker.
If you will need to file in Nigeria, you will need a Nigerian tax ID; see getting a Nigerian tax ID while living in Canada. For how the Nigeria Revenue Service is organised, see the NRS explained.
A long stay usually means running money in two currencies. A Pryme account holds naira, US dollars, pounds and euros in one place, and Swap converts only when you choose, with the rate and fee shown before you approve. Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank. Your statements also give you a dated record of where your money moved during the stay.
Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, 183 days or more in any 12-month period, including temporary absences, is one of the residence tests. Meeting any one test makes you resident.
Yes, possibly. Domicile, a permanent home available for your use, habitual abode or substantial economic or immediate family ties can each make you resident.
If you become resident, Nigeria taxes residents on income wherever it arises. Where you are resident in both countries, the Canada-Nigeria agreement's tie-breaker decides the residence country.
No. The test looks at any 12-month period, so a stay from December to June can cross the line.
