Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Saving naira in Canada for a return to Nigeria? How inflation, interest rates and the exchange rate decide what that money will buy.
Money you plan to spend in Nigeria after a move back is best judged in naira terms: what matters is whether it keeps pace with Nigerian prices, not what it is worth in Canadian dollars today. Headline inflation was 14.63% year on year in September 2026 (NBS, via Voice of Nigeria), and naira interest earned while you live in Canada is still reported to the CRA in Canadian dollars.
Many Nigerians in Canada keep a naira pot for a planned return: a house deposit, a business, school fees for children who will move with them, or simply a cushion for the first year back. The usual worry is the exchange rate. That matters, but for money you will spend in Nigeria it is only half the picture. The other half is what that naira will buy when you land.
Start by writing down what the money is for and where it will be spent. A Lekki rent, a car bought in Abuja or staff salaries for a new business are naira costs. A flight, a Canadian credit card balance you must clear before leaving or a property deposit priced in dollars are not. The test is simple: in which currency will you pay the bill?
Converting a naira goal into Canadian dollars and back again costs you a spread twice and adds exchange-rate risk in both directions. Holding naira for a naira bill avoids that, as long as the naira earns enough to keep up with prices.
The National Bureau of Statistics publishes the consumer price index every month. For September 2026, released on 15 October, headline inflation was 14.63% year on year, down from 15.39% in August, and food inflation was 19.59%, as reported by Voice of Nigeria. Food matters more than the headline if most of your future spending will be on a household. Check the latest NBS release before you plan; the figure changes every month. Our Nigeria library has the real-return arithmetic in detail.
The CBN's Monetary Policy Committee cut the policy rate from 26.5% to 23% on 22 September 2026, according to Arise News. The policy rate is not what you earn, but bank deposit rates, Treasury bill yields and savings products tend to move with it. When the gap between what you earn and inflation narrows, your naira pot stops growing in real terms.
Only relevant to the part of the goal priced outside Nigeria, or if your plans change and you need the money back in Canada. The Bank of Canada does not publish a naira rate: its daily table dated 23 October 2026 lists 24 currencies and the naira is not one of them. Check the rate your provider quotes on the day, and compare it against a published mid-market rate.
Example only. The figures are illustrative, not current rates.
| Item | Assumption | Result after one year |
|---|---|---|
| Savings set aside | ₦10,000,000 | ₦10,000,000 |
| Interest earned | 18% a year (example) | ₦1,800,000 |
| Prices in Nigeria | Up 14.63% (Sept 2026 headline) | Goods that cost ₦10,000,000 now cost ₦11,463,000 |
| Real gain | ₦11,800,000 / ₦11,463,000 | About 2.9% more buying power |
If the interest were 12% instead, the pot would reach ₦11,200,000 against prices of ₦11,463,000: a real loss of about 2.3%, even though the balance went up. That is the trap of a naira balance that only looks like it is growing. The same pot measured in Canadian dollars could look better or worse depending on the exchange rate, but if you will spend it in Lagos, the naira comparison is the one that decides what you can afford.
While you are resident in Canada, interest on that naira pot is part of your world income. The CRA says foreign interest is reported in Canadian dollars, converted at the rate in effect when the amount arises, and foreign tax is not subtracted from the income you report; any Nigerian tax withheld may be claimed as a foreign tax credit. Because the Bank of Canada has no naira rate, the CRA's reporting-currency folio (S5-F4-C1) allows another widely available, verifiable source used consistently. See reporting Nigerian T-bill interest if your pot sits in bills.
Watch the size too. The CRA says Form T1135 is required when the total cost of specified foreign property, such as money in foreign bank accounts or shares of non-resident companies, is more than $100,000 at any time in the year. A naira pot for a house deposit can cross that line without you noticing.
A Pryme Personal Account can be opened from Canada and holds NGN alongside USD, GBP and EUR. Naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank, regulated by the CBN and insured by the NDIC up to the applicable limit. For naira you will spend after the move, Savings Boxes let you set money aside in naira, with rates shown in the app. When part of the goal is in dollars, Swap converts only when you choose; the app shows the rate and the fee before you approve.
Keep money for naira bills in naira if it can earn close to or above Nigerian inflation; keep money for bills priced in dollars in dollars. Converting back and forth costs a spread each time.

If you are resident in Canada, you report it as foreign interest in Canadian dollars and may claim a credit for Nigerian tax withheld. This is information, not advice.
No. Its daily table dated 23 October 2026 covers 24 currencies, and the naira is not among them, so you need another consistent, verifiable source for tax conversions.
