Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

There is no PenCom route that transfers an RSA into a Canadian RRSP. What PenCom lets diaspora members do, and how a cash withdrawal is taxed in Canada.
Not directly. PenCom's rules describe no mechanism for transferring a Retirement Savings Account to a Canadian plan: its 2025 guidelines say a member who relocates abroad can keep the RSA by updating their documents, and benefits are paid from age 50 or retirement. If you are a Canadian resident and you take money out of an RSA, the CRA's guidance treats foreign pension income as taxable in Canada, reported in Canadian dollars with a credit for Nigerian tax, and putting that cash into an RRSP needs ordinary RRSP contribution room.
Nigerians who worked in Lagos or Abuja before moving to Canada often leave a Retirement Savings Account behind with a Pension Fund Administrator (PFA). Years later the question arrives: can I consolidate it with my RRSP? The two systems do not connect. This article explains what Nigerian rules allow, what Canadian rules say about foreign pension money, and the sums to do before cashing anything.
PenCom's Guidelines on Foreign Currency Pension Contributions (September 2025) say a Nigerian RSA holder who relocates abroad can retain the RSA, subject to updating it with the required documents: NIN, a valid international passport, and next-of-kin and beneficiary details. The same guidelines let Nigerians living and working abroad make voluntary contributions in US dollars into a foreign currency fund. PenCom's 2023 FAQ says members relocating abroad can keep contributing or access benefits at retirement or at 50.
On access before then, KPMG's summary of the Pension Reform Act 2014 says benefits are payable on retirement or at age 50, whichever is later, and that a member who leaves a job before 50 and is not re-employed within four months may take a lump sum of up to 25% of the RSA balance. Whether a PFA applies that rule to someone who has emigrated is for the PFA to confirm; the 2025 guidelines do not describe a relocation cash-out for Nigerian citizens. The Nigerian library explains how the RSA system works, and access after moving is covered in accessing a Nigerian RSA after moving to Canada.
A transfer between pension plans needs both systems to recognise it. PenCom's rules move RSAs between Nigerian PFAs; they do not provide for transfers to foreign plans. On the Canadian side, the CRA's RRSP guide (T4040, modified 23 January 2026) defines a foreign plan as one maintained mainly for non-residents for services performed outside Canada, and says that generally you cannot deduct contributions you made to pension plans in other countries, with treaty-based exceptions for some countries. The guide we read does not describe any rollover from a Nigerian RSA. If you think a special provision applies to your case, ask the CRA or a cross-border tax professional before acting.
The CRA's line 11500 guidance covers foreign pension income. In outline:
On the Nigerian side, KPMG's summary says income on voluntary contributions is taxable if withdrawn within five years, and PenCom's 2025 guidelines say the same for the foreign currency scheme. Mandatory contributions are treated differently. How Canada taxes RSA money in general is in is a Nigerian RSA taxable in Canada?.
Once the money is in your Canadian account, you can contribute it to an RRSP like any other cash, but only within your deduction limit. The CRA says the limit is the lesser of 18% of the previous year's earned income and the annual limit ($32,490 for 2025), plus unused room carried forward. The RSA withdrawal itself is not earned income and does not create room.
Example: a nurse in Calgary withdraws an RSA lump sum that converts to $20,000, and the PFA deducts Nigerian tax equal to $1,000. She reports $20,000 on line 11500, not $19,000, and claims a foreign tax credit for the $1,000, limited to the Canadian tax on that income. She has $15,000 of unused RRSP room, so she can contribute $15,000 of the proceeds and deduct it, which offsets most of the extra income; the remaining $5,000 has no RRSP shelter. Figures are illustrative.
| Keep the RSA | Withdraw when allowed |
|---|---|
| Stays invested under PenCom rules, in naira (or dollars for the FCY fund) | Ends naira exposure for that money |
| You must keep documents up to date with the PFA from abroad | One less account to manage from Canada |
| No Canadian tax until you take money out (check annual reporting with an adviser) | Taxable in Canada in the year received |
| Paid at 50 or retirement | Only possible where the PFA confirms you qualify |
When a PFA pays out, it pays to a Nigerian account. A Pryme Personal account can hold that naira and let you Swap to US dollars, pounds or euros when you choose, with the rate and fee shown before you approve, and a verifiable statement through VerifyDoc.ai records the amount and date for your line 11500 working. This is information, not tax advice.
Not as a pension transfer. PenCom's rules have no route to a Canadian plan; you can keep the RSA from abroad or withdraw when the rules allow, and move the cash.
Only as an ordinary contribution within your RRSP deduction limit. The withdrawal does not create RRSP room.
If you are a Canadian resident, foreign pension income is reported on line 11500 in Canadian dollars, with a foreign tax credit for Nigerian tax paid.
Yes. PenCom's 2025 guidelines say an RSA holder who relocates abroad can retain the RSA by updating NIN, passport and next-of-kin details.
