Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.

More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A sourced monthly budget for a Nigerian family of four in east London: rent, council tax, energy, travel and money home, with 2026 figures.
A Nigerian family of four renting a three-bedroom home in an outer London borough such as Barking and Dagenham should plan for roughly £3,800 a month in this worked example. Rent alone averaged £1,902 for a 3-bed there in September 2026 (ONS), and council tax, energy and one Zones 1-4 commute add about £600 more before food.
London is the most expensive region in the UK for renters. The Office for National Statistics put the average London private rent at £2,338 a month in September 2026, against £1,406 for the UK as a whole. For a family arriving from Lagos or Abuja, that one line decides almost everything else in the budget. This worked example builds a month for two adults and two school-age children in an outer east London borough, using official figures where they exist and clearly labelled allowances where they do not.
The family rents a three-bedroom house in Barking and Dagenham, a borough many Nigerian families already live in or near. Adult A works full-time on a salary of £38,000 and commutes into central London. Adult B works part-time and earns £15,000 a year. Both children attend state primary school. Every income and spending number below is an example for illustration, not a quote for your household.
Tax rates are the 2026-27 figures on GOV.UK (6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027). Workplace pension contributions would reduce this further: the legal minimum for an employee is 5% of qualifying earnings between £6,240 and £50,270, which in this example is about £132 a month for Adult A and £36.50 for Adult B. Read our guide on whether to opt out of a workplace pension on a visa before deciding; for most people it means giving up the employer's contribution.
| Item | Monthly | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Rent, 3-bed, Barking and Dagenham | £1,902.00 | ONS average, Sept 2026 |
| Council tax, Band C, 12 instalments | £162.85 | MHCLG 2026-27: £1,954.23 a year |
| Gas and electricity | £143.58 | Ofgem typical bill £1,723 a year, Oct-Dec 2026 |
| TV licence | £15.00 | GOV.UK: £180 a year |
| Adult A commute, Zones 1-4, capped | £278.20 | TfL weekly cap £64.20 x 52 / 12 |
| Adult B buses and local trips | £60.00 | Example allowance |
| Water | £45.00 | Example allowance |
| Phones and broadband | £70.00 | Example allowance |
| Food and household shopping | £650.00 | Example allowance |
| School costs, uniforms, after-school | £200.00 | Example allowance |
| Support to family in Nigeria | £150.00 | Example allowance |
| Clothing, church, gifts, small savings | £150.00 | Example allowance |
| Total | £3,826.63 | Worked example |
The total of £3,826.63 is about £60 more than the household's take-home pay, and that is before any pension contribution. That is the honest picture for many London families on two modest incomes: the budget works only if one of the large lines comes down.
ONS figures for Barking and Dagenham in September 2026 were £1,378 for a one-bed, £1,723 for a two-bed and £1,902 for a three-bed. The borough's overall average of £1,700 was well below the London average because inner boroughs pull that figure up; Kensington and Chelsea averaged £3,739. Moving one zone further out or taking a two-bed flat is the single biggest saving available to this family.
Council tax depends on the property's valuation band and the borough. For 2026-27 Barking and Dagenham's area charge for two adults is £1,709.95 in Band B, £1,954.23 in Band C and £2,198.51 in Band D. Neighbouring Lewisham's Band D is £2,237.33 and Croydon's is £2,599.91, so the borough you choose matters. Many councils collect over ten months by default; ask for twelve instalments if you want the smaller monthly figure used here. Our guide to how council tax works for new arrivals covers bands and discounts.
Ofgem's price cap for 1 October to 31 December 2026 puts a typical dual-fuel household paying by direct debit at £1,723 a year. A family of four in a house will often use more than Ofgem's typical household, so treat £143.58 a month as a floor. The cap is reset every three months, so check Ofgem's site for the current level. The TV licence is £180 a year if anyone watches live TV or uses BBC iPlayer.
Pay as you go caps in 2026 are £12.80 a day and £64.20 a week (Monday to Sunday) for Zones 1-4. A five-day commuter who reaches the daily cap each day pays £64.00, just under the weekly cap; the £278.20 monthly figure assumes the weekly cap is reached. Contactless gets the weekly cap on Tube and rail; Oyster's weekly cap covers bus and tram only, which our Oyster or contactless guide explains.
Pryme can be opened from the UK and holds pounds and naira in one account, so the £150 for family can sit in naira for bills at home while your London spending stays in pounds. Swap shows the rate and the fee before you approve a conversion, and Send pays Nigerian accounts. Outside Nigeria, Pryme's activities are carried out through regulated partners, and naira deposits are held by a licensed Nigerian microfinance bank.
It depends mostly on rent. In this worked example a family renting a 3-bed in Barking and Dagenham spends about £3,827 a month, of which £1,902 is rent at the ONS September 2026 average for that borough.
In this example, two salaries totalling £53,000 leave about £3,767 a month after tax and National Insurance, slightly less than the £3,827 budget. It can work with a smaller home or lower travel costs, but there is little margin.
The ONS put the London average at £2,338 a month in September 2026, up 3.5% on a year earlier. Outer boroughs are lower; Barking and Dagenham averaged £1,700.
Yes, the adult who lives in the property and rents it is normally liable from the day the tenancy starts. The amount depends on your band and borough; register with the council as soon as you move in.
